Abstract

At the beginning of child’s birth, the most needed furniture is the baby crib, considering the baby’s main activity is also sleeping for almost 20 hours a day. The presence of baby crib isn’t just tofacilitate the baby’s sleeping activity, but also to support the safety level of the baby when they’re asleep. Along with the development of age , the body and also the development of the child's activity, the needs of furniture is increasing as well, corresponding with the activity done by the child.  Not just the crib, but also some other furniture too. This design is done in order to create an innovation of child’s crib furniture. The field survey results and some design ideas show that a baby crib can be developed furthermore if reviewed in terms of the value of the function and usage period contained within the object. By using several steps of method, such as data collection, data processing, data analysis, and the design itself, it is expected to reach a brand-new design of simple multifunctional furniture for children that can meet the requirements in accordance with the activity and development of the children that is easy to applied and can be adjusted to the needs.

Abstract

Cane pulp are leftovers from the process of making cane stem into sugar which are not used again. This research aims to produce an alternative material to make a strand board from cane pulp, whereas cane pulps possess wood aspects which can be used. This research uses the Research and Development method which focuses on material innovation. Some stages used include data gathering, planning, experiment, analysis, to make the final product. This research produces a prototype of a strand board.

Abstract

Meetings are often conducted informally in places that are not a meeting room. Besides, high activity businessmen often do one-day business trip. This activity safe more time and cost. Unfortunately, a long trip makes fatigue and tired, which is causing lack of focus at the meetings. The author sees the necessity for a meeting facility that which has a conducive atmosphere without override the function. This Meeting Point design takes place at Juanda Airport road.The concept of this Meeting Point is 'Informal Stimulable with Contemporary'. Contemporary style is suitable to the temporary trend. 'Informal' theme used to answer the meeting needs, that is providing lower stress levels and creating innovative thinking. Besides, the usage of 'stimulable' theme is to ensure that the functions of a meeting room not to be forgotten. By this Meeting Point design, businessman will gain a new and functional meeting facilities

Abstract

Motocross in Indonesia has been known since many years ago especially in big citis. But the available facilities in Surabaya do not support. That is why a motocross centre is neeeded as a place for hobbiers, to fullfil their needs in Surabaya. The other problem for the motocrossers is the uncertain weather at the outdoor track. The weather is a primary aspect to be put into acount whenever they want to carry out their hobby. Their for, this indoor motocross centre is design for them to do it without being interfered by the weather and they do not have to go down the outdoor track or down the traffic road.

Abstract

Increasingly tight schedule of community activities make urban society requires a have easy access to visit and have a facility sufficient to relax with the family, school friends, lectures and colleagues. Many down-town city big had a meal that provides facilities for a place to gather and relax. Unfortunately places entertainment does not contain elements of education and only limited places of entertainment only. Schedule urban society so dense and full of activities also made their forget their surroundings and seem more individual. Yet as we know, the environment is very important to the survival of humans and ecosystems. Therefore creates a gathering place that is café that also provide educational facilities of green plants to urban communities, especially in the city of Surabaya.

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of history and culture which we should keep them well, so they will not be destroyed as time passes. One of them is martial art Wushu, which long known in Indonesia in the name of ‘Kunthauw’. This martial art which came from China has live side by side with the life of Indonesian’s society for a long time, but it’s a pity that this martial art practitioner mostly still stand just by themself. Society itself often has some misunderstanding about Wushu. Interior designers play their parts to create a place which combine Wushu practitioners and giving enough information for Indonesian people about Wushu.

Abstract

Culture is a thing that has become the legacy of our ancestors. In each area must have different cultures, including in East Java. One area is in East Java that has a specific culture is the result of Malang legacy shaped mask. Appreciation of art and culture itself will be more easily understood by the students dance. In the sense of learning to dance will be more beautiful when it's done in the environment based arts and cultural nuances. With the interior design in the traditional arena dance studio is expected to be a decoy loves Amy more traditional dance heritage and culture will be a learning place for domestic and foreign tourists.

Abstract

In fact, Ornamental Fish breeding is inspiring people who loves ornamental fish. Not only because the beauty of the fish but also people can make some money from their fishes which ready to be sold in the fish market. Interior Design of Ornamental Fish Information Centre is the place for people to get some information about ornamental fish and to be the place for ornamental fish lover and breeder to share their experience and knowledge. The facilities are lobby, café, show room, fish care area, mating fish area, fish sales area, accessories, locker, and toilet. The concept design is sterilised fresh water collected from sterilisation process then implemented to the design to create a good atmosphere and comfortable place.

Abstract

Futsal interior design gallery in Surabaya aim to find a lot of new and emerging futsal place in the coming future. And futsal place is always crowded with visitors and players each day. From the above facts we can see the enthusiasm of the Surabaya people upon this sport. Therefore created a futsal gallery into a facility for the people who loves the sport of futsal and for other visitors for entertainment. Futsal gallery itself provides several facilities like an information center that provides insights of the futsal sport, futsal and football history. Other than that not only to provide information only, but also in the gallery there are stores that sell futsal sports equipments such as clothes, balls, shoes. In addition there is a café for players after playing futsal to hang out. Interior design Futsal gallery is expected to answer the needs of visitors and also to provide entertainment for futsal sports lovers. So that people can not only play, but also understand the history and rules that exist in futsal. And everything related to futsal.

Abstract

Food as the basic needs of human life has made the culinary world a developing business. With the design of culinary school facilities, the objective of this design project is to create an interior environemnt that can support the quality learning activities that can compete with the contemporary culinary world. This culinary school design project was inspired by the concept of "Back to Nature," which was implemented in the forms and colors containing elements of Nature, such as use of the wood, concrete and natural stone on the walls, furniture, roof, and floor. This concept was chosen in order to be able to solve the design problems such as the lack of space, the unclear grouping and circulation, and the unattractive interior atmosphere.
