Abstract

Abstract This thesis examines the potential of bio-mass waste generated from palm oil mills with a capacity of 30 tonnes which will be converted into heat energy for process and electrical energy to drive the motors, in which the two energy sources is a major requirement in the processing of palm oil. Number of factories operating in West Kalimantan is 28 mills with a total capacity of processing fresh fruit bunches by 1,190 tons / hour. Potential sources of renewable energy from waste bio-mass produced: 21.5% empty fruit bunches, fiber 12.5%, and 5.1% shell. From the calculation and field studies, the potential of solid waste are: fibers and fibers using super heat boiler obtained at 44.02% thermal efficiency, power output of 2,064 MW, and the power can be used for external plant of 1,464 mW.Steam for the process, is obtained from the steam turbine output, which should be above one atm pressure then used non-condensing turbine one level, with the required generator capacity of 2.58 kVA. Abstract

Menghasilkan sebuah bentuk gelombang Sinusoidal murni sangat penting didalam sistem penyaluran energi listrik. Tulisan ini berhubungan dengan Rancang bangun sebuah Inverter yang memiliki bentuk keluaran tegangan sinusoidal dengan menggunakan Teknologi SPWM (Sinusoida Pulse witdth Modulation). Hal yang paling esensial didalam teknologi SPWM adalah pemilihan jenis SPWM (Bipolar,Unipolar, atau lainnya) untuk menghasilkan bentuk sinyal Switching yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan Saklar On dan Off secara benar didalam sebuah rangkaian H-Bridge. Rancang bangun SPWM Inverter ini diawali dengan Disain Sinyal Generator yang akan mengeluarkan 4 buah sinyal switching pada Rangkaian H-Bridge. Sinya-sinyall generator tersebut akan dikendalikan oleh sebuah kontroller yang mengatur kendali timing pada sinyal generator. Keluaran arus H-bridge tersebut akan dikirim ke sebuah Transformator Step-Up untuk menghasilkan sebuah gelombang tegangan dan arus sinusoidal. Untuk mengetahui kinerja Inverter jenis SPWM ini akan diuji dengan pemberian beban yang bersifat Non-linier yaitu beberapa kombinasi lampu LEDs. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk keluaran gelombang pada inverter SPWM ini menghasilkan bentuk sinusoidal murni pada saat tanpa beban, tetapi saat berbeban bentuk gelombangnya sedikit mengalami perubahan bentuk akibat adanya harmonisa yang dibangkitkan oleh beban Non-linier.

Abstract

One form of service provided, especially in institutions engaged in education, is the service process in the implementation of the Final Project/Thesis where the implementation process itself is currently still being done manually which makes the entire implementation process take longer and less efficient, as well as the distribution conditions. Covid-19 (corona virus) which is currently still not showing a decline until the Government issues government regulations, circulars and appeals for the implementation of face-to-face activities to be reduced and shifted to online / online. This information system is the result of research that has been implemented in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Pontianak State Polytechnic, named SEMESTA which is an acronym for Information System for Final Project Completion. Which has three user entities, namely students, supervisors and administrators. The information system is able to serve title proposals, proposals, submission of supervisors, selection of students to be mentored, and consultation media between students and their supervisors for the smooth process of online and real-time final assignments/thesis. Faculty of Agriculture, Panca Bhakti University, Pontianak currently does not have an information system that can be used to help complete the final project/thesis. If this information system is implemented then the parties who will be involved in this information system will be trained how to use it separately based on the level of users.
