Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract Visualization of uncertainty conditions of a traffic become the main focus of this study. Traffic conditions described by the location data transmitted by mobile based application that is installed on the user's smartphone that cross from Palembang to Inderalaya, vice versa. This data is then displayed using a time-series web dashboard. Time-series web dashboard which is based on HTML-5, allows users to monitor changing conditions and also can provide data and improve the accuracy of the data analysis. Abstract

Intense competition in the business sector motivates every company to manage services to regular consumers to the fullest. Increase customer loyalty can be done by grouping customers into several groups and determine appropriate and effective marketing strategies for each group. This study aims to propose the right targeting of discounts that can increase customer loyalty in the retail business. Customer grouping uses data mining techniques with the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) method, which is divided into six phases, namely business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modelling, evaluation, and deployment. The formation of this cluster uses k-means clustering method and is based on RFM (recency, frequency, monetary) analysis. From the results of the silhouette test on 2734 transaction data from 210 customers of PT. XYZ from October 2019 to March 2020, three customer clusters were formed. From these three clusters, one cluster that has the best frequency and monetary values is chosen so that it is considered the worthiest group to be given a discount in order to maintain its loyalty.

Abstract

During their study period, one of the programs provided to students is academic guidance. Academic mentoring is an activity where students consult academic supervisors which aim to help students plan studies and solve study problems, one example is the academic mentoring program at the Information Systems Department, Faculty of Computer Science, Sriwijaya University. However, in practice there are problems experienced by students but they are not detected from the start because of the low monitoring of their academic supervisors which causes delays in graduation. This study aims to produce a prototype design of the Academic Guidance Information System so that it can be used as a platform for monitoring student guidance. The method used is the design thinking method which has 5 stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. At the ideate and prototype stages, the Fogg Behavior Model theory is used as a reference material. Evaluation of the prototype design results using the Maze Design usability tool. Testing uses two test methods, namely the Mission Usability Score (MIUS), Maze Usability Score (MAUS) and System Usability Score (SUS). The MIUS and MAUS tests got a score of 78 and entered the medium/marginal characteristics. The SUS calculation gets a score of 90.25 which leads to the acceptable category with a grade scale (A). The test results were carried out with 1 test iteration to 20 respondents and showed that the design had met the feasibility standard. Keywords : Information Systems, Academic Guidance, Design Thinking Methods, Fogg Behavior Model, Maze Design.

Abstract

Abstract The Infant Mortality and Toddler Mortality rates are still relatively high in Indonesia. Data from the South Sumatra Health Office shows a relatively high number of infant and toddler mortality cases in Banyuasin and Musi Banyuasin Regency, with about 68 and 51 cases in 2017. Through the Program Kerja Sama (PKS) of the family health directorate of the health ministry of the Republic of Indonesia and the Public Health Faculty of Sriwijaya University. Find problems related to the absence of instruments in digital form, which are useful for conducting studies on infant and under-five mortality problems in health facilities, which were expected to assist in recording and reporting the review process run more effectively and efficiently. This research uses the User-Centered Design (UCD) method because it optimizes the application prototype according to the needs and desires of the end-user, which in this case is the health worker in the Health Facilities in Banyuasin and Musi Banyuasin Regency. The UCD method phases include understanding the use context, specifying the user requirements, designing the solutions, and evaluating against requirements. The results of the study were that the average usability score was 94, meaning that this application's prototype has been made according to the needs and desires of end-users. Also, the prototype of this application is feasible to implement.

Abstract

In applications, usability is an essential factor that shows the user experience whether the application is easy to use and fits its function or not. For this reason, this study aims to determine the usability of the registration module on the Khanza Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) used by RSUD Banyuasin employees and to find out the difficulties faced, needs, and desires of RSUD Banyuasin employees as users of SIMRS Khanza. This research is helpful for the agency as a subject of application evaluation and helps discover what opportunities can be applied to overcome user difficulties. The approach used is Design Thinking. Meanwhile, the usability measurement uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving five respondents. The initial results of measuring the usability of SIMRS Khanza obtained were 26 with a poor rating. In addition, the interview results show that users have difficulty learning the application, the features and fields are too many, and there is a redundancy of patient data. Based on these findings, the researcher recommends a solution design with a High Fidelity Prototype (Hi-fi) with a final value of SUS 87. With the implementation of this research recommendation, it is hoped that it can help the performance of RSUD Banyuasin with an application design that is easy to understand and supports the creation of accurate and consistent data.
