Abstract

AbstractAl-QUR’AN VERSES AND PROPHET HADITH OF DELIVERING LESSON PRINCIPLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH STUDENTS’ ABILITY. Student-Centered Learning (SCL) approach appears to make the learning implementation with conducive fun atmosphere, and students centered. In the SCL approach, the teacher gives many attentions in involvement, initiative, and student social interaction in classroom. One of the principle in SCL approach is teacher delivers the lessons in accordance with students’ ability. By using Fazlur Rahman double movement theory to analyze the Qur’an verses and historical criticism, eidetic criticism, and pratical criticism of Hassan Hanafi to analyze the prophet hadith, this study aims to reveal the moral ideal of Qur’an and prophet hadith about delivering lesson principle in accordance with students’ ability as well as determining the contextual meaning for life recently. There are 21 Qur’an verses which contains the basic idea of delivering lesson principle in accordance with students’ ability and there are 11 Hadiths which contains delivering lesson principle in accordance with students’ ability. The verse and hadith show the necessity principles to put human in accordance with his position and necessity to talk with them in accordance with his ability, and completed with practical examples from the Prophet. The implementation of educational values in some Qur’an verses and Prophet hadith is able to make the learning more empower the students’ potential and influence on student personality development. Keywords: Student-Centered Learning, Learning, Students’ Ability. AbstrakPendekatan Student-Centered Learning (SCL) muncul untuk mewujudkan terlaksananya pembelajaran dengan suasana yang kondusif, menyenangkan, dan berpusat pada siswa. Dalam pendekatan SCL, guru banyak memberikan perhatian pada keterlibatan, inisiatif, dan interaksi sosial siswa di kelas. Salah satu prinsip yang ada dalam pendekatan SCL adalah guru menyampaikan pelajaran sesuai kemampuan siswa. Dengan menggunakan teori double movement Fazlur Rahman untuk menganalisis ayat Al-Qur’an serta kritik historis, kritik eidetis, dan kritik praksis Hassan Hanafi untuk menganalisis hadis Nabi, tulisan ini bermaksud mengungkap ideal moral ayat Al-Qur’an dan hadis Nabi tentang prinsip penyampaian pelajaran sesuai kemampuan siswa serta menentukan makna kontekstualnya bagi kehidupan saat ini. Ada 21 ayat Al-Qur’an yang mengandung ide dasar prinsip penyampaian pelajaran sesuai kemampuan siswa dan ada 11 hadis yang mengandung prinsip penyampaian pelajaran sesuai kemampuan siswa. Ayat dan hadis tersebut menampilkan prinsip keharusan menempatkan manusia sesuai kedudukannya serta kemestian berbicara dengan mereka sesuai dengan kemampuannya, juga disertai contoh praksis dari Rasulullah saw. Implementasi nilai-nilai edukatif dalam beberapa ayat Al-Qur’an dan hadis Nabi ini mampu mewujudkan pembelajaran yang lebih memberdayakan potensi anak didik serta berpengaruh pada pengembangan kepribadian siswa. Kata Kunci: Student-Centered Learning, Pembelajaran, Kemampuan Siswa.

Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini menelaah dasar-dasar normatif demokrasi dalam al-Qur’an. Selain itu, juga mencoba membandingkan antara syura dan demokrasi dalam tataran definitif. Kajian ini berangkat dari perdebatan di antara kalangan intelektual Muslim tentang hubungan Islam dan demokrasi. Perdebatan ini menghasilkan tiga pandangan, yaitu: pertama, hubungan simbiosis-mutualisme, bahwa hubungan antara Islam dan demokrasi adalah saling membutuhkan dan saling mengisi; kedua, hubungan antagonistik, bahwa Islam bertentangan dengan demokrasi yang datang dari dunia Barat; ketiga, hubungan reaktif-kritis atau resiprokal-kritis, yaitu menerima adanya hubungan antara Islam dan demokrasi, tetapi dengan memberikan catatan kritis. Dalam pandangan ini, Islam memiliki nilai-nilai etis yang melandasi demokrasi, seperti tertuang dalam prinsip al-‘adalah (keadilan), al-musawah (persamaan), dan asy-syura (musyawarah). Dalam al-Qur’an, ada beberapa ayat yang bisa dijadikan landasan normatif ketiga prinsip dasar demokrasi ini. Dengan demikian, demokrasi sama sekali tidak bertentangan dengan al-Qur’an. Justru al-Qur’an memberikan landasan moral dalam membangun sistem demokrasi. AbstractSYURA AND DEMOCRACY IN QUR’AN PERSPECTIVES. This article examine the normative foundations of democracy in the Qur’an. In addition, it is also trying to compare between syura and democracy in the definitive level. This study departs from the debate among Muslim intellectual circles about the relationship between Islam and democracy. This debate resulted three views, namely: first, the relationship of mutualism symbiotic, that is the relationship between Islam and democracy are interdependent and complementary; second, antagonistic relationship, that Islam is incompatible with democracy coming from the Western world; Third, the relationship-critical reactive or reciprocal-critical, that is accepting the relationship between Islam and democracy, while providing a critical note. In this view, Islam has ethical values underlying democracy, as embodied in the principle of al-’adalah (justice), al-musawah (equation), and asy-syura (deliberation). In the Qur’an, there are verses that can be used as the basis of normative third basic principle of democracy. Thus, democracy is not at all contrary to the Qur’an. Precisely, Qur’an gives moral foundation in building a democratic system.

Abstract

Psychology and human personality: qur’anic and islamic education perspective. One of the goals of Islamic education is to maintain and shape the human personality so that he becomes a plenary man who can maximize his role and duties as a servant devoted to Allah swt. and became the khali>fah of Allah swt. on earth. For this purpose, it is necessary to formulate the human personality that will guide and guide Islamic education in carrying out its educative role. By tracing the verses of the Qur’an that speak about humans and examine them philosophically, this paper intends to reveal a comprehensive picture of the human personality according to the Qur’an and Islamic education. Through the study it was concluded that man has two sides, namely: (1) relating to personality and spiritual aspect; (2) relating to the physical as well as the physical and physical aspects. This comprehensive human personality requires the movement and the area of Islamic education to touch all aspects of man. It not only touches the cognitive aspects, but also the affective, and psychomotor aspects. Abstract

Talking about the increase in human resources, substantively library occupies a very urgent role. However, more library serves as a storage pile of books deserted from literacy activities, let alone research and development activities. This article examines how should the role of librarians in globalization era. In this globalization era, there are four important role librarians, that is collecting and providing access to information and knowledge and sources scattered around the world in multiformat, add or put a value on information and knowledge (adding value), provides online service for 24 hours, and provide varied and dynamic services, included the whole cycle of knowledge, from creation, recording and publication, dissemination, use, and re-creation of knowledge. With these four librarians role, expected to libraries in globalization era not merely as “noun”, that is a place to store a collection of books and a variety of other collections, but the library is able to transform a “verb” or process, that is nursery places and dissemination of knowledge.

Abstract

Gunung Kemukus is one of the most sacred regions in Sragen, Central Java. In that area, there is tomb of Pangeran Samudera who is known as an Islamic disseminator of Majapahit descent who received religious guidance from Sunan Kalijaga. However, the spiritual sacredness is damaged by the practice of rituals of self enrichment with committing seven times of sexual adultery rituals on Jumat Pon. Ironically, this practice was responded to fairly by the community that knows the religion values well. This condition is caused by the mindset formed so that the grave pilgrimage ritual followed by the practice of prostitution is a legitimate activity and does not conflict with social and religious norms. This research examined more about how the reconstruction of Islamic education held in the region so that the later generation has begun to change their mindset in response to the rituals on Gunung Kemukus. It is expected that this Islamic education model will support the policy of Sragen Regency government that tries to control the tourist sites of Gunung Kemukus which are often used as prostitution locations covered by grave pilgrimages and self enrichment rituals.

Abstract

This article will examine the problem of singing and music in the review of the hadith of the Prophet. Related to singing and music, the view of the scholars is quite diverse. Most people forbid it, some of them allowed it, and some others allowed it with some requirements. Based on the search for some of the traditions of the Prophet, the hadiths that talk about the singing and the music can be classified into two groups, namely the traditions that do not contain a ban on singing, music, musical instruments, or singers, and the traditions that contains a ban on singing, music, musical instruments, or singers. Given two conflicting groups of traditions, based on the method of al-jam’u wa at-taufiq, it can be concluded that singing, musical instruments, and a female singer (singer) is not at all forbidden by Islam as long as it doesn’t contradict to the Islamic norms. Conversely, if the singing, musical instruments and a female singer (singer) cause the growth of hypocrisy and wickedness, then forbidden and recommended to be shunned. Thus, the hadith about the ban on singing and music is merely temporal and limited by a number of requirements, which do not lead to neglect and forget God.
