Abstract

Dispensary waiting time is one of the factors that causes patient dissatisfaction. This study aims to determine the waiting time for prescription services in two selected Puskesmas in Tegal Regency.This research was included in a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The study was conducted in two selected Puskesmas in Tegal Regency.The sample is a recipe that was served in a pharmaceutical installation in February totaling 200 recipes using the quota sampling method. Dispensary waiting time is taken using a stopwatch tool. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. Univariate analysis by describing the overall waiting time, while bivariate analysis uses a t-test to see the difference in dispensary waiting time.The results showed that there were differences in the average waiting time for non concoction recipe)and concoction recipe (p = 0,000). The average dispensary waiting timeĀ  for non concoction is 9 minutes 5 seconds, for concoction drugs 17 minutes 28 seconds. There is a difference in dispensary waiting time for non concoction and concoction drugs between Puskesmas X and Puskesmas Y (p = 0,000). The waiting time for prescription services at Puskesmas X is 14 minutes 45 seconds (non concoction recipe) and 21 minutes 3 seconds (concoction recipe). The dispensary waiting time at Puskesmas Y is 5 minutes 5 seconds (non concoction recipe) and 10 minutes 25 seconds (concoction recipe)Keywords: Dispensary waiting time, recipes, non concoction recipe, concoction recipe, puskesmas.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelaksanaan swamedikasi dapat menjadi sumber terjadinya kesalahan pengobatan karena keterbatasan pengetahuan akan obat dan penggunaannya. Tindakan swamedikasi dilakukan untuk mengobati penyakit ringan, salah satunya yaitu diare. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan tindakan swamedikasi diare pada siswa SMK Farmasi Saka Medika Kabupaten Tegal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel berjumlah 90 siswa dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan mempertimbangkan kriteria tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan siswa mengenai swamedikasi diare tergolong cukup yaitu sebesar 50%, baik 37%, kurang sebanyak 13%. Alasan responden melakukan swamedikasi terbanyak adalah bahwa penyakit diare merupakan penyakit ringan (86%). Responden menggunakan sebagian besar menggunakan obat modern (92%). Perilaku membaca label rata-rata adalah 58,2%. Sebagian besar responden (60%) mempertimbangkan efek obat dalam memilih obat diare. Responden menyatakan menggunakan obat diare hingga responden merasa telah sembuh (33%). Sebanyak 33% responden mengalami efek samping obat berupa pusing (12%), sembelit (7%), kram perut (6%), muntah (4%), mulut kering (3%), dan gatal-gatal (1%). Kata kunci: diare, farmasi, siswa, swamedikasi. ABSTRACT Self-medication can be a source of medication errors because of limited knowledge of the us drug and their use. Self medication for mild disease, one of which is diarrhea. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and self-medication of diarrhea in students of the Pharmacy Saka Medika Tegal regency.The research method used was descriptive quantitative.The sample of 90 students was selected by purposive sampling who fullfilled the criteria inclusion. The results showed that the level of students' knowledge about self-medication diarrhea is quite sufficient 50%, good 37%, less as much as 13 %. The reason for respondents to do the most self-medication is that diarrheal disease is a mild disease (86%). The average label reading behavior is 58.2%. Most respondents (60%) consider the effect of the drug in choosing diarrhea medication. Respondents stated that they used diarrhea drugs until the respondents felt they had (33%). As many as 33% of respondents experienced side effects of drugs such as dizziness (12%), constipation (7%), abdominal cramps (6%), vomiting (4%), dry mouth (3%), and itching (1%).
