Abstract

This study aims to study how the marketing strategies of advertising, products, prices and channels affect the financial performance of Novotel Makassar Hotel. The sample used in this study is clients who book rooms and meeting rooms at the Novotel Makassar Hotel. The selection of samples in this study using a survey method based on certain criteria. The results of the study using path analysis show marketing strategies namely advertising, products, prices and positive distribution channels on financial performance.

Abstract

Various types of research have been conducted on the environment and compensation in relation to employee performance, but specifically non-physical environmental impacts and compensation in state-owned enterprises are still rarely found online journals in relation to employee performance. This study aims to investigate the impact of the non-physical work environment and compensation on employee performance. Simple random sampling technique is used to select population members from employees of PT. Telkom Regional VII Makassar City. This research is an associative type of research with data collection methods through surveys. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the non-physical environment did not have a significant and positive effect on employee performance. Meanwhile compensation affects the performance of employees The coefficient of determination shows that the non-physical work environment and Compensation can shape the direction of employee performance by 24.9%, while 75.1% is determined by other variables not included in this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of foreign ownership structure and audit quality on firm value with earnings management as mediation. The population used in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with the research period of 2013-2018. The method of determining the sample using non-random sampling i.e purposive sampling and uses secondary data in the form of annual reports and financial statements of the company. The analytical methods used are path analysis and simultaneous test (F test). The results showed that the foreign ownership structure has a negative and significant effect on earnings management, audit quality has a negative and insignificant effect on earnings management, foreign ownership structure has a positive and insignificant effect on firm value, audit quality has a positive and significant impact on earnings management. firm value, and earnings management have a positive and significant effect on firm value. This study also found that foreign ownership structure has an indirect effect on firm value through earnings management and audit quality has an indirect effect on firm value through earnings management.

Abstract

This research takes as its focus the major problem of low employee performance at the Government Office of Tana Toraja Regency. The cause of this problem is thought to be the non- implementation of Job Competency and Employee Career Development on Employee Performance at the Government Office of Tana Toraja Regency. The approach taken in this research refers to the context of the Job Competency and Employee Career Development theory, as part of the scope of the Science of Public Administration through the use of the research method of explanatory  survey  Dan  Structural  Equation  Modeling  (SEM),  whereas  population  is  the Government Office of Tana Toraja Regency. The result of the research shows the need for the undertaking of  further  research  regarding  the  need  to  optimize the  improvement of  the influence of Job Competency and Employee Career Development on Employee Performance at the Government Office of Tana Toraja Regency, as seen from the perspective of Public Administration. This is shown by the existence of different variables which influence the Employee Performance at the Government Office of Tana Toraja Regency.

Abstract

Savings and Loan Cooperatives (KSP) play a role in increasing financial inclusion, but face challenges in the digital era due to competition with fintech and digital banking. This study analyzes sustainable growth strategies for KSP using qualitative literature study methods. The results of the study indicate that digitalization can improve operational efficiency, expand financial access, and increase KSP competitiveness. The main strategies that can be implemented include service digitalization, strengthening governance, increasing digital literacy, and collaboration with fintech. The main challenges faced are limited technological infrastructure and regulatory complexity. Therefore, KSP needs to adopt an adaptive strategy to remain competitive and sustainable amidst digital change. This study contributes to providing strategic insights for KSP managers and becomes a reference for regulators in supporting cooperative digitalization.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to understand the direct impact of social capital and financial capital on innovation strategies of furniture small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Makassar. Using resource-based view (RBV) theory, relationships among social capital theory, financial capital and innovation strategies were developed. Questionnaire-based survey was used to collect data from owners and senior managers of furniture companies. Data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The findings revealed that social capital have positive influence on innovation. Research limitations is that the study used perceptual measures of innovation strategies making it difficult to determine respondent bias. Practical implications is that manager or owner of furniture firms should initiate more social capital development as well as financial capital.
