Abstract

This study aims to determine the radiation dose to the acceptance of conventional non- contrast radiographs and the dose received by the patient on a non contrast radiographs compared Perka BAPETEN According Reference No 8 of 2011.Quantitative research approach was applied in this research for the measurement of radiation using TLD chips. Furthermore, measurement results are sent to Batan. We analize the data by calculating the average radiation dose received at each examination on the TLD reader, and then compared them with the reference dose by Bapetten. Results indicate acceptance of the radiation dose on conventional radiographs thoracic lowest dose 0.262 mGy and the highest 0.41 mGy. Abdominal were 0.924 mGy and 1,913 mGy, AP lumbo sacral spine were 1.504 mGy and 1.965 mGy, and the lateral lumbo sacral were 2.522 mGy and 3.231 mGy. Comparation between the data and the Perka BAPETEN: the value of ESD on thoracic radiographs was 0.41 mGy (exceeding 0.4 mGy), abdominal radiographs was 1,913 mGy (less than 10 mGy) , lumbo sacral spine AP was 1,965 mGy, and lumbo sacral spine radiographs laterally was 3.231 mGy (less than 30 mGy).

Abstract

This study aims to determine adequacy of thick protective lead aprons as radiation in Radiology Services Unit in Semarang. This research is quantitative with observational approach radiation measurements. The samples were hospitals in Kota Semarang. The independent variable is the thickness of the lead apron and the dependent variable in this study is the radiation behind the lead apron. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics to take a conclusion. The results showed Adequacy lead apron at the Semarang Hospital, HVL values between 4 to 7 HVL or dose rate are forwarded after passing through the apron of 6.25% to 0, 781%. Value adequacy thick lead apron 0.5 mmPb that used had a value below the threshold set by Bapeten that dose forwarded after passing the lead apron is less than or 0,02 μSv which means lead apron can be used for radiation safety assurance in hospital and radiology departement units in the Semarang.

Abstract

A study concerning the analysis of Radiation Dose in Female Reproductive Organs In Examination Hysterosalpingography For Supporting safety Radiation In Radiology Services Unit. The purpose of this study to obtain descriptions of the radiation dose received by the reproductive organs at Hysterosalpingography examination and find out how much the level of safety obtained by the reproductive organs of the risk of biological effects on Hysterosalpingography examination. This research is a quantitative approach to measuring radiation. Amount sample used in this study was performed in 6 patients and Maternity Hospital Semarang. This source obtained using TLD dosimeters chips are placed on the patient's skin surface in mid gonads, right and left ovaries. The value of radiation dose TLD reader reading results are recorded in the tabulation of the radiation dose to the HSG examination. Furthermore, the total value obtained by comparison with a reference standard performed as recommended by BAPETEN that the reference dose on pelvic examination should not be more than 10 mGy. The results showed that the dose of radiation received by the reproductive organs on Hysterosalpingography examination based on exposure factors, the greater the voltage of the tube then the average absorbed dose greater, based on the thickness of the thicker body of the patient's body absorbed dose average lower, receiving total dose accepted patients receiving the lowest dose of 1 x ekposi 1.508 mGy, the highest 2.341 mGy. For patients receiving the lowest dose of 2 x eksposi 3,016 mGy, the highest 4,682 mGy. The level of security is obtained against the risk of reproductive organs of biological effects on the examination Hysterosalpingography is still in the safe level for the highest total dose received was 4,682 mGy (below 10 mGy).

Abstract

This study aims to describe wheter or not the patients' chest x-ray in hospital over Semarang are already has an appropriate radiation dose. This quantitative study was conducted with descriptive analysis. Data were collected by random sampling technique. The method in the measurement of patient dose was using Thermoluminesensi Dosimean meter (TLD) which is placed at the central point (CP). Profile picture over of chest radiation dose in adult patients to the 1st hospital was an average of 0.2139 mGy , 0.0758 mGy in 2nd hospital, and 0.3548 mGy in 3rd hospital . From the overall sample, the average adult chest x-ray dose was 0.1731 mGy. From these data it is concluded that the dose was still below the reference dose (0.4 mGy) , but the application of radiation protection programs and quality control diagnostic tool should still be on the run.

Abstract

Has done research for the analysis and design of software evaluation clinical practice assessment (PKL / PKN) WEB based on the Diploma Program Radiodiagnostic and Radiotherapy Techniques Semarang. Needs analysis has been conducted for designing software evaluation clinical practice assessment (PKL / PKN) Web-based programming using PHP and MySQL. Analyses were performed with several stages of system analysis, analysis of the weaknesses of the old system based PIECES, a new system needs analysis, feasibility analysis and design of software systems sistem.Desain done with methods for object-oriented programming (Object Oriented Programming) created using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) that is using the use case, the database and interface design. With the analysis and design of the software, will be developed (development) and monitoring and evaluation in the next stage of research.
