Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of Arabic learning based on e-mobile instrumental using the appypie application. The method used in this study is a qualitative type, in which the authors use Contex Analysis as data analysis from primary sources in the form of appypie applications and Arabic learning material in jer letters. After the writer conducted the research, the design of the Arabic learning model based on e-mobile instrumental showed that the researcher tried to create a quality e-mobile that had been designed so that it also had an impact with the creation of quality learning. In addition, the design of e-mobile in Arabic learning based on e-mobile instrumental developed in this study only refers to one topic or one Arabic material as an example, namely the "Jer Letters". E-mobile is presented using the appypie application. Then found the advantages of this learning model are saving time, giving more space in learning, greater motivation in learning Arabic, more encouraging students because of e-mobile based, and saving material. The disadvantages of this Arabic learning model are difficulties for students who do not have internet data packages, need time to check the quality of the existing internet, cannot control students directly, lack of learning evaluation features, and the application is still paid.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop the feasibility of the Mahârah al-Istimâ’ test instrument for electronic-based Arabic students using the Kahoot! application at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is the research and development of  Borg and Gall model through analysis, design, and testing. Eligibility is based on the expert validator test and the final operation field test. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1) Preparation of the Test Instrument refers to the 5 objectives or indicators of Mahmud Kamil an-Naqah into 50 questions in product design using the Kahoot! application, 2) From the results of the expert validator it is known that the results of the material quality are obtained by an average 5.37 and the media quality of the application is obtained by an average of 4.75 (very feasible), 3) After being obtained from the main field test to 20 students there are 6 questions or 12% that are not feasible because they are invalid and have not discrimination index, then the author revise and test the revision results to 70 students with 100% valid results and are suitable for use.

Abstract

The problems of learning the history of Islamic culture that occur include the perception of students who regard it as boring learning and too many perspectives from references that exist in the history of Islamic culture itself. On the other hand, educators are required to apply learning methods that are fun and not boring and require students to think more critically about the learning to be carried out. This study aims to see whether there are differences that occur in the index card (table) match and timeline learning methods in improving student learning outcomes in the history of Islamic culture students and if there are differences which learning outcomes are higher than the application of the two methods. The research method used is an experimental study whose population is all 6th semester students at PAI UII in the 2020/2021 academic year in the Islamic Cultural History course class A, B, C, and D and classes A and C were selected to be the sample which class A is the control class with the index card (table) match method and class C is the experimental class with the timeline method. The results of this study stated that there was a difference between the 2 (two) classes before and after treatment, with each experimental class of 28.45 the increase value compared to the control class of 23.89. This indicates that the experimental class has a higher improvement than the control class.Keywords: Index Card (Table) Match Method; Timeline Method, History of Islamic Culture

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk mendukung terciptanya komunitas tahsin di wilayah Sambilegi, Maguwoharjo, Sleman. Pendirian komunitas bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para anggotanya melalui kegiatan pelatihan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran kolaboratif. Dalam kondisi Pandemi Covid-19, kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai media bantu pembelajaran. Sesi pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk tatap muka (luring) dan daring. Uji keberhasilan pelatihan tahsin dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik pre-test dan post-test berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan, yaitu Makhorijul Huruf, Tajwid (Mad, Nun Sukun, Mim Sukun, serta Waqof), Lagu (Irama Bayati dan Rosta), Lahn Jaly, Lahn Khofy, dan Ghorib. Dari hasil evaluasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anggota komunitas dengan nilai rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 62%.
