Abstract

Human resources (HR) is one of the key factors in economic reform, namely how to create quality human resources who have skills and highly competitive in global competition. Humans always develop actively and dominantly in every organization's activities, because humans become planners, actors, and determinants of the realization of organizational goals. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and motivation on employee performance at the South Tangerang Fire and Rescue Service. The method used was explanatory research with a sample of 55 respondents. The analysis technique uses statistical analysis with regression testing, correlation, determination, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study leadership have a significant effect on employee performance by 48.9%, the hypothesis test obtained significance 0,000 <0.05. Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance by 34.8%, hypothesis testing obtained significance 0,000 <0.05. Simultaneous leadership and motivation significantly influence employee performance by 56.8%, hypothesis testing obtained significance 0,000 <0.05.

Abstract

The importance of motivation is because motivation is the cause and supporter of human behavior so that they are willing to work hard and enthusiastically to achieve optimal results. Motivation is increasingly important in an organization or company because the leader distributes work to his staff to be done well and integrated to achieve the desired goals.The method used in this study refers to the " associative or relationship research method, namely research methods that aim to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The source of data in this study is primary data, namely from distributing questionnaires directly to respondents who became the research sample, namely employees of telecommunications companies in Indonesia, totaling 30 people. To find out what factors dominantly affect work motivation and employee performance. The analysis technique or data processing uses frequency distribution and comparison of the average number of each motivational factor to determine what factors are the most dominant on employee motivation and performance. Based on the results of research that has been carried out through questionnaires and calculated based on the average value of each factor, it is obtained that the dominant factor of work motivation and performance is a harmonious relationship between fellow staff in the company.

Abstract

The background of this research is that, in the current era of globalization, every organization must carry out the dynamics of change. Therefore, every organization is required to be able to compete. One strategy is to have excellent and competitive human resources. Human resources are a company's most valuable, unique, purest, and unpredictable asset. Human resources are also a central factor in the management of an organization. They are the driving force of the organization in achieving and realizing the goals and objectives set. Therefore, organizational productivity is primarily determined by the productivity of the human resources concerned. Talented human resources with good performance can support business success. Incompetent human resources and poor performance are competitive problems that can put the company at a loss. The aims of this research are 1. Does leadership style affect turnover at Hoka Hoka Bento BSD Square Tangerang Branch? 2. Does motivation affect turnover at Hoka Hoka Bento BSD Square Tangerang Branch? 3. Do leadership style and motivation affect turnover at Hoka Hoka Bento Branch BSD Square Tangerang? The method that the researcher will use is a quantitative method with a descriptive and causal associative approach. This study's population and sample were determined of 33 employees or all Hoka Hoka Bento, BSD Square Tangerang Branch employees. The result of this research is that leadership style and motivation affect turnover where the practice of leadership and motivation styles among the organization's internal employees can increase turnover
