Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the current state of the system and facilities, machinery and equipment of horizontal winding machines from the safety, technical and environmental aspects in order to provide proposals for repair or improvement of current conditions and mitigation efforts Risk, especially in the scope of horizontal winding machine at PT XYZ, which is a fabrication company that produces tranformers and electric tranformer care services.  The method of analysis used in this research is Risk Reduction Management (RRM) consisting of two main phases: risk assessment and risk reduction of the security of a machine. Risk assessment involves a risk reduction followed by risk evaluation (risk analysis) and other risks. Based on the risk evaluation can be proposed risk reduction proposal. Based on the RRM analysis is found the potential risk of electrical system potentially occurring short-circuit and potentially uncontrolled mechanical objects, hand-pinned and uncontrollable engine rotation. To make the machine safe, proposed improvements to the electrical system (foot switch cable, cable fireplace, and periodic panel cleaning), as well as smoothing the mechanical system (making warning, inspection, protective fence, protective equipment, and emergency stop). Some of the recommendations can be well implemented by the company.

Abstract

Currently, the industrial era 4.0 coincides with the covid 19 virus which is an opportunity and a challenge to choose the right business strategy. Based on the results of the evaluation of previous studies and the analysis in this study, it is known that currently there are no sensors installed on the tools used for material transfer, communication between machines and machines (M2M) currently there is no data generated so no data is communicated, the interface between humans and machines (HMI) currently uses a local user interface through the Pro-St application and the interface on the fanuc machine, the current transportation system is moving materials to production machines, a manual transportation system, namely hand lifts, materials that have been packaged and will be stored in the warehouse using a forklift (machine for manual transportation), while the unit product movement from the fanuc machine already uses a conveyor, the transportation unit as an information carrier currently has a mechanism for individual identification of materials but the status of the material is not identified in the IT system, the current storage system for placing materials is still done intuitively and the identification process for storage locations is still listed manually on the blackboard. In order for the intralogistics system to implement intelligent supply chain and logistics based on industry 4.0, it is proposed to install sensors on the device to identify material movement and the sensor and actuator interaction data can be analyzed, network connections between devices for M2M communication, use of mobile user interfaces to monitor intralogistics processes and status. identified material in the IT system.

Abstract

The current energy supply crisis is a strategic issue and therefore needs to be analyzed for Energy saving opportunities. Thermal Power Station with a capacity of 2 units x 60 MW at PT.MEI uses Compressor to operate its production.  The method of analysis of energy saving compressor opportunity is by observation method, measurement, data and analysis using software tools which released by SEAI (Sustainability Energy Authority of Ireland).  Result of research, it is known that the opportunity to save electricity energy is 703.644 kWh/year or Rp 422.186.296/ year and the decrease of emission of 579 CO2 (Ton).
