Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of language based on spelling analysis and effective sentences in the Editorial Tribun Lampung April 2016 edition, and develop it as a media of learning on exposition writing of Indonesian language class X in Senior High School. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The result of the analysis shows that generally the spelling uses in Lampung Tribun's editorial which are the most productive accurate is the capital letter. And the use of low-spelling accuracy is the italic letter. The aspect on using sentences in the editorial Tribun Lampung that have the most productive accuracy is the use of logical sentence . And the use of a low sentence accuracy is the use of short sentence. The analysis of spelling and effective errors in the editorials of the Tribun Lampung is further implemented in learning as an example and reference for developing the exposition writing skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan bahasa berdasarkan analisis ejaan dan kalimat efektif pada tajuk rencana Tribun Lampung edisi April 2016, serta mengembangkannya sebagai media pembelajaran menulis eksposisi bahasa Indonesia kelas X di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ejaan dalam tajuk rencana Tribun Lampung yang paling produktif ketepatannya adalah huruf kapital dan penggunaan ejaan yang rendah tingkat ketepatannya adalah penggunaan huruf miring. Aspek penggunaan kalimat dalam tajuk rencana Tribun Lampung yang paling produktif ketepatannya adalah penggunaan kelogisan kalimat dan penggunaan kalimat yang rendah tingkat ketepatannya yaitu penggunaan kehematan kalimat. Temuan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan ejaan dan kalimat efektif dalam tajuk rencana Tribun Lampung selanjutnya diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran sebagai contoh dan referensi untuk mengembangkan ketrerampilan menulis eksposisi.Kata kunci: tajuk rencana, pembelajaran, penggunaan bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study reports on an Independent Community Service Program (KKN Mandiri) conducted in Dusun Betu Raja 3, aimed at strengthening Islamic awareness through community-based educational activities. The program focused on two main initiatives: parenting dialogues with mothers, emphasizing child-rearing practices in line with Islamic values, and interactive sessions with children that introduced moral lessons from the stories of the prophets. Using participatory methods such as discussions, interactive lectures, and storytelling, the activities encouraged active engagement and created a supportive learning environment. Findings indicate that mothers gained a deeper understanding of the significance of Islamic parenting in shaping children’s moral character, while children demonstrated enthusiasm in listening to and applying the values embedded in prophetic stories. The program highlights the effectiveness of dialogical and narrative-based approaches in promoting religious awareness within rural communities. Overall, this initiative contributes not only to the development of individual family practices but also to the collective strengthening of Islamic identity in village life.

Abstract

Students as agents of change play an important role in the process of community development, not only in the academic environment but also in responding to various social issues. Community service is part of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), which emphasizes the application of knowledge while improving the social, spiritual, and economic quality of society. This study explores the implementation of the “Student Service: Al-Qur'an Generation, Literacy, and Economic Independence” program in Merambung Village, Tangkit Hamlet. This program focuses on three main aspects, namely strengthening religious education through Al-Qur'an teaching at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA), improving basic literacy through guidance in reading, writing, and arithmetic, and empowering the local economy through assistance for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method was used, actively involving the community in every stage of the program's implementation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the ability to read the Qur'an and the application of spiritual values, an increase in interest and skills in basic literacy, and an increase in the competitiveness and independence of MSME actors through training and the use of promotional media. In addition to providing direct benefits to the community, this program also helped develop students' capacity in the application of knowledge, social empathy, and leadership competencies. The findings of this study confirm.
