Abstract

In accordance with the purpose of vocational education, which is to prepare novice workers for the needs of the industrial world, especially industries that have collaborated with the SMK. SMKN 2 Serang City must look at the conditions and situations in the industry so that SMK graduates can later be absorbed into the DUDI. The new trend for SMK must strive for comprehensive reform and seriously advance SMKN 2 Kota Serang is not only a dream but there is no certainty in the achievement of these graduates of SMKN 2 Kota Serang. At the level of the learning process, a paradigmatic shift is needed in carrying out innovations or new breakthroughs in the learning process in the SMK. Vocational education in Indonesia is a shortcut to filling DUDI's workforce while reducing the level of unemployment with skills in accordance with their respective expertise. Indicators in practical learning based on BMW, namely work, continuing education and entrepreneurship according to their expertise. As long as one condition has to be fulfilled, for example establishing a collaboration between SMKN 2 Kota Serang and DUDI and not only cooperating in the form of an MOU but the industrial world should be able to provide an experience to the world of vocational education, and vice versa. For example, industry share knowledge at SMKN 2 Kota Serang and SMKN 2 Kota Serang should also seek experience in industry. Whether it's teaching staff (teachers, technicians) and students of SMKN 2 Kota Serang.Key words: SMK, business world and industry, facilities, infrastructureDOI : 10.23960/jmmp .v9.i1.202103

Abstract

Abstract: Management of Practical Learning Facilities and Infrastructure in the Vocational Education Study Program of Electrical Engineering, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, procurement, inventory, utilization of practical learning facilities and infrastructure in the electrical engineering vocational education study program, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The method in this study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data sources, namely the head of the PVTE department, the head of the laboratory and the assistant of the PVTE laboratory. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data in this study is the credibility test with observation persistence techniques and triangulation methods. The findings in this study state that the management of practical learning facilities and infrastructure carried out in the PVTE study program is quite good. This can be seen from: 1) planning of practical learning facilities and infrastructure through needs analysis, determining priority scales, budgeting, preparing proposals, (2) procuring practical learning facilities and infrastructure by first disbursing the budget according to the activity plan and the faculty budget. , then procure by purchasing equipment directly to the shop or factory using operational assistance funds. (3) inventory procedures for practical learning facilities and infrastructure are carried out by recording, coding, and reporting quarterly and annually, (4) practical learning facilities and infrastructure according to the schedule of practical courses and to achieve effective and efficient practical learning. The operation of the equipment uses a manual in the form of a manual and follows instructions from the lecturer or aslabKeywords: Management, Facilities and Infrastructure, Planning, Procurement, Inventerization DOI : 10.23960/jmmp .v8.i3.2020

Abstract

Abstract: Philosophy of Science: Matter and Matter as an Ontology of Chemistry. Philosophy and science can be used by humans as an effort to understand the concepts and methods of a scientific discipline. Substantially and historically, philosophy and science have an important role in giving great influence to human life. One of the sciences, namely chemistry, is no exception, which has a major influence on human life. Ontology in chemistry can be understood as a science that discusses what we want to know and a study of chemical theory. A more in-depth ontology of chemistry is a discussion in order to find or get the essence of something related to chemistry. Chemistry is defined as the study of matter, its properties, structure, and changes in matter and the energy that accompanies these changes. This article aims to explain the ontology of chemistry, namely substances and matter according to experts and their development. This article uses qualitative research methods which include literature studies, where a review of books and journals is carried out to enrich and the results of empirical research are used as secondary data to strengthen arguments which are then synthesized into a single unit to provide meaningful information. The results showed that there are two ontological aspects of chemistry, namely the concept of chemistry which means the composition, nature, structure, change and energy that accompanies the change of a material and the object of chemistry, namely substance or matter. Keywords: Substance and Matter, Chemical Ontology DOI : 10.23960/jppk.v10.i3.2021.03

Abstract

Katakunci: Efektivita, LKPD, SiMayang, Penguasaan konsep

Abstract

Implementation of Value Education in Chemistry as an Effort to Develop Character. It has been indicated that there are moral setbacks for the nation's next generation. Therefore, it is necessary to instill values to shape character through education in schools and colleges. This study aims to analyze the values of learning chemistry, find out how educators embed values in learning chemistry and determine the obstacles faced in adding values in chemistry learning. The method in this research was descriptive qualitative using interviews as data collection techniques. The subjects interviewed were six lecturers who taught chemistry at five different colleges and two chemistry teachers who taught at High Schools and Vocational High Schools. The results showed that the character values in learning chemistry can be grouped into religious values, social values, and scientific values. Chemistry teachers or lecturers instill character values by getting them used to reading scriptures before learning, presenting phenomena in daily life related to the chemistry concept, giving independent or group assignments in learning and practicum, and be a good role models. Both teachers and lecturers faced some obstacles in instilling character values in chemistry learning.
