Abstract

This research was using research and development method which purposed to develop the student worksheets based on science process skills on the topic of stoichiometry, and to describe teachers and students responses about the student worksheets as development product. The student worksheets as development product was tested in the 10th grade of SMAN 14 and SMAN 9 Bandar Lampung to indentity the teachers and students responses. From the results of the teachers responses towards students worksheets which were developed, namely students worksheets based on science process skills on the stoichiometry of chemistry, it were obtained the percentage in aspects of the suitability of the contents, the constructions, and the readability were 88,17%; 88%; and 89,04%, respectively. The results of student responses to the readability and attractiveness were 88,52% and 87,07%, respectively. The result showed that the suitability of contents, the constructions, the readibility, the attractiveness aspects were classified very high category. Based on it, the students worksheets was declared feasible to be used.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada materi stoikiometri, dan untuk mendriskripsikan respon guru dan siswa tentang lembar kerja siswa sebagai produk pengembangan. Lembar kerja siswa sebagai produk pengembangan diujikan di kelas X pada SMAN 14 dan SMAN 9 Bandar Lampung untuk mengidentifikasi respon guru dan siswa. Dari hasil tanggapan guru terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan yaitu LKS berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada materi stoikiometri, diperoleh persentase pada aspek kesesuaian isi, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan sebesar 88,17%; 88%; dan 89,04%. Hasil tanggapan siswa terhadap keterbacaan dan kemenarikan sebesar 88,52% dan 87,07%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aspek kesesuaian isi, konstruksi, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan yang semuanya dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan keterangan di atas, diperoleh bahwa LKS sudah dapat digunakan.Kata kunci: stoikiometri, keterampilan proses sains, LKS

Abstract

The quasi experimental research which use non equivalent pretest-posstest control group design was conducted on the 11th grade of IPA5 and IPA6 of SMAN 1 Natar for 2014/2015 academic year. The aim of this research was to describe the effectiveness of Problem Solving learning model to improve classification and inference skills on acid-base topic. The results showed that the mean of n-Gain of classification skill in experiment and control classes were 0.46 and 0.31, respectively, and the mean of n-Gain of inference skill in experiment and control classes were 0.44 and 0.32, respectively. Based on it, statistically the mean of n-Gain on classification and inference skills in experiment and control classes were different signifation. It can be inferred that problem Solving learning model was effective to improve classification and inference skills on acid-base topic.Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent pretest-postest control group design telah dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPA5 dan XI IPA6 SMAN 1 Natar Tahun Akademik 2014/2015. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajaran problem solving untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengelompokkan dan menyimpulkan pada materi asam basa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata n-Gain keterampilan mengelompokkan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol masing-masing sebesar 0,46 dan 0,31, serta rerata n-Gain keterampilan menyimpulkan pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol masing-masing sebesar 0,44 dan 0,32. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, secara statistik rerata n-Gain keterampilan mengelompokkan dan menyimpulkan di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berbeda signifikan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem solving efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengelompokkan dan menyimpulkan.Kata kunci: keterampilan mengelompokkan, keterampilan menyimpulkan, problem solving.

Abstract

Virtual lab of freezing point depression and osmotic pressure experiment has been constructed by using RD method. Validator judgment to content suitability, construction, and easy to use aspect of developed virtual lab were 95.24%, 93.94%, and 87.18%, respectively. The preliminary testing was conducted at SMAN 1 Labuhan Maringgai to find out teachers and students responses about developed virtual lab. Teachers gave good responses to content suitability and easy to use aspect with the percentage of them were 97.62% and 98.72%, respectivity. Students also gave good responses to easy to use with the percentage was 98.85%. Based on the result, the developed virtual lab have high validity and feasible to be used in learning.Penelitian virtual lab untuk praktikum penurunan titik beku dan tekanan osmotik larutan ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R D). Hasil validasi ahli pada aspek kesesuaian isi, konstruksi, dan kemudahan penggunaan virtual lab yang dikembangkan masing-masing adalah 95,24%, 93,94%, dan 87,18%. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan di SMAN 1 Labuhan Maringgai untuk mengetahui tanggapan guru dan tanggapan siswa tentang virtual lab dikembangkan. Guru memberikan tanggapan yang baik pada aspek kesesuaian isi dan kemudahan penggunaan dengan persentase masing-masing 97,62% dan 98,72%. Siswa juga memberikan tanggapan yang baik pada aspek kemudahan oenggunaan dengan persentase 98,85%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, virtual lab yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas tinggi dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: penurunan titik beku, tekanan osmotik, virtual lab

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe the characteristics of the performance assessment instrument in terms of legibility, construction, and implementation of product and to describe the teacherss response of the performance assessment instrument developed. This study used research and development (RD). Teachers gave responses to readable, construction, and implementation of the performance assessment instrument equal to 93.8%; 96.9%; and 87.5%, respectictively. The results showed that the performance assessment instrument on the practice of boiling-point elevation and freezing-point depression solution that has been developed were in excellent category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik instrumen asesmen kinerja dari segi keterbacaan, konstruksi, dan keterpakaian produk serta mendeskripsikan tanggapan pendidik kimia terhadap instrumen asesmen kinerja yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). Karakteristik instrumen asesmen kinera berdasarkan tanggapan pendidik kimia adalah memiliki tingkat keterbacaan 93,8%, tingkat konstruksi 96,9% dan tingkat keterpakaian produk 87,5% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa instrumen asesmen kinerja praktikum kenaikan titik didih dan penurunan titik beku larutan memiliki kriteria sangat baik.Kata kunci: asesmen kinerja, kenaikan titik didih larutan, penurunan titik beku larutan, koligatif

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop the assessment instrument based on science process skill and to describe teachers response about developed assesment instrument. This research used Research and Development (RD) method. This research was guided by need assesment questionnaire instrument, validations authority, teacher responses instrument. This assessment instrument characteristics was the assessment instrument that measures students' cognitive skills associated with science process. The validation result was obtained percentage on aspects in suitability of content, readability, and construction were 93.75 %; 84,61 %; and 94 %, respectively. The percentages of teacher responses to assessment instrument was obtained on aspects in suitability of content, readability, and construction were 89,37%; 86,15%; and 87,75%. Thus, assessment instruments developed have very high criteria with the average percentage of 90,78 %.Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen asesmen berbasis keterampilan proses sains (KPS) dan mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru mengenai instrumen asesmen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RD). Penelititan ini menggunakan instrumen angket analisis kebutuhan, instrumen validasi ahli, instrumen tanggapan guru. Karakteristik instrumen asesmen ini adalah instrumen asesmen yang mengukur ranah kognitif siswa yang berhubungan dengan keterampilan proses sains. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli diperoleh persentase asesmen pada aspek kesesuaian isi, keterbacaan, dan konstruksi sebesar 93,75%; 84,61%; dan 94,00%. Persentase tanggapan guru pada aspek uji kesesuaian isi, keterbacaan, dan kontruksi adalah sebesar 89,37%; 86,15%; dan 87,75%. Jadi, instrumen asesmen yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 90,78%.Kata kunci : asesmen, KPS, stoikiometri

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the validity, practicallity, and effectiveness of student worksheets using discovery learning model on topic of Bohrs atomic theory as development product. This research was conducted by using Research and Development (RD) method, until the revision step after preliminary field testing. Student worksheets validation by experts has done by three validators. The preliminary field testing was conducted in the 10th grade of MIA4 at SMA Negeri 1 Kalianda to know the practicality and effectiveness of student worksheets. The result showed that this student worksheets have high validity, practice, and effective.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan lembar kerja siswa dengan model discovery learning pada materi teori atom Bohr yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD) sampai pada tahap revisi setelah uji coba terbatas. Validasi oleh ahli terhadap LKS hasil pengembangan dilakukan oleh tiga orang validator. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada siswa kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Kalianda untuk melihat kepraktisan dan keefektifan LKS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas yang tinggi, praktis dan efektif.Kata kunci: discovery learning, LKS, teori atom bohr

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the validity and practically of student worksheets on collision theory based discovery learning as a development product. This research was conducted by using Research and Development (RD) method, from research and information collecting step until the revision step after operational field testing. The validation result showed that at content compatibility aspect have high criteria, construction and legibility aspect have very high criteria. The field testing was conducted in the 11st grade of IPA at SMA Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung to know practically of student worksheets. The field testing result showed that at teachers respons, students responses, and implementation of student worksheets in learning have very high criteria, and student response after learning with this student worksheets have high criteria.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan dan kepraktisan lembar kerja siswa pada materi teori tumbukan berbasis discovery learning yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD) dari tahap penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi sampai tahap revisi setelah uji coba lapangan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek kesesuaian isi berkriteria tinggi, aspek konstruksi dan aspek keterbacaan berkriteria sangat tinggi. Uji coba lapangan awal dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung untuk mengetahui kepraktisan LKS. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pada tanggapan guru, tanggapan siswa, dan keterlaksanaan LKS dalam pembelajaran berkriteria sangat tinggi, serta tanggapan siswa setelah belajar menggunakan LKS hasil pengembangan berkriteria tinggi.Kata kunci: discovery learning, LKS, teori tumbukan

Abstract

This research use RD method had been done with aim to describe the validity and practically of discovery learning-based student worksheets. The stages of research development were started from preliminary study, product development, and preliminary field testing. Preliminary field testing was conducted in the 1st science of 11th grade at SMA Kosgoro Bandar Sribhawono to observe student worksheets practically. Based on validation expert to readability, construction, and content suitability aspect were 80%; 87.37%; and 83.33%, respectively. Based on students responses to readibility and attractiviness aspect were 90.5% and 88.63%, respectivaly. Based on teachers response to readability and attractiviness, and content suitability aspect were 88.57%; 89.10%; and 90%, respectively. Base on these results, it could be concluded that the student worksheets have very high validity and practically.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas dan kepraktisan LKS berbasis model discovery learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). Tahapan penelitian pengembangan ini dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, pengembangan produk dan uji coba terbatas. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Kosgoro Bandar Sribhawono untuk mengetahui kepraktisan LKS. Hasil yang diperoleh dari validasi ahli pada aspek keterbacaan, konstruksi dan kesesuaian isi secara berturut-turut yaitu 80%; 87,37% dan 83,33%. Hasil respon siswa pada aspek keterbacaan dan kemenarikan secara bertutut-turut yaitu 90,5% dan 88,63%. Hasil respon guru pada aspek keterbacaan, kemenarikan dan kesesuaian isi secara berturut-turut yaitu 88,57%; 89,10% dan 90%. Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the validity of knowledge assessment instrument on Bohrs atomic theory and quantum mechanics atomic theory topic. This assessment instrument used multiple choice form test which considering the reliability, validity, level of difficulty, discrimination power, distractors power, sensitivity, and practicability by teachers and students responses. The RD method was used in this reseach. This assessment instrument was valid based on expert judgement on content suitability, readability, and construction aspects, and it was said practicable based on teachers and students responses where all aspects of it was categorized as high. The empirical testing showed that this assessment instrument have high level of reliability, modest validity, modest level of difficulty, high discrimination power, good distractors, and less sensitive.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas instrumen asesmen pengetahuan pada materi teori atom Bohr dan mekanika kuantum. Asesmen berupa soal pilihan jamak dengan memperhatikan reliabilitas, validitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, daya pengecoh dan sensitivitas soal, serta kepraktisan menurut respon guru dan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode RD. Instrumen asesmen ini dikatakan valid berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli terhadap aspek keterbacaan, konstruksi, dan kesesuaian soal dengan materi, dan instrumen asesmen dikatakan praktis berdasarkan respon guru dan siswa dimana semua aspek termasuk kategori tinggi. Uji empiris menunjukkan asesmen memiliki nilai reliabilitas tinggi, tingkat kesukaran soal sedang, daya beda soal tinggi, daya pengecoh opsi jawaban berfungsi baik, validitas butir sedang dan sensitivitas soal kurang sensitif.Kata kunci: instrumen asesmen, reliabilitas, teori atom bohr dan mekanika kuantum

Abstract

The research and development of students worksheets based on the science process skills on the fundamental laws of chemistry topic has been studied. This research used the method of research and development. The students woksheets which were developed had characteristics that suitable with the expected competencies, attractive to students as well as didactics, constructions, and technicals requirements have been qualified. Premilinary field testing of the students worksheets as development product was conducted at the 10th grade of SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung. Based on teachers responses about suitability of the contents, constructions, and readability aspects of the students worksheets, it were categorized in very high. Based on students responses about readability and attractiveness aspects of the students worksheets, it were also categorized in very high. The result showed that the student worksheets was proper to be used.Telah dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan LKS berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada materi hukum-hukum dasar kimia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik sesuai dengan kompetensi yang diharapkan, menarik untuk siswa serta telah memenuhi syarat didaktik, syarat teknik, dan syarat konstruksi. Uji coba lapangan awal LKS sebagai produk hasil pengembangan dilakukan di kelas X SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung. Berdasarkan hasil tanggapan guru terhadap aspek kesesuaian isi, konstruksi, dan keterbacaan, aspek tersebut dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tanggapan siswa terhadap aspek keterbacaan dan kemenarikan, aspek tersebut juga dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS hasil pengembangan layak untuk digunakan.Kata kunci: hukum-hukum dasar kimia, KPS, LKS
