Abstract

The findings showed that language learning through games can increase the activity of listening to stories and listening skills of students. It can be seen from the average percentage of students in the first cycle activity of 57.76%, 64.59% second cycle and third cycle of 90.06%. Increase from cycle I to cycle II of 6.83% and of the second cycle to cycle III was 25.47%. Results of students' skills in listening to stories using language games. First cycle of 60.86, the second cycle of 82.61, and the third cycle of 100. Resulting in an increase from cycle I to cycle II is 21.75 and from cycle II to cycle III 17.39.Based on the findings, suggested the Indonesian subject teachers should be able to apply a contextual approach in learning to listen to the story in order to increase students' activities and skills.Keywords: activities, language games, stories listening skills.

Abstract

The aims of the research were to increase the disaster mitigation skill and social attitude through the implementation of EXCLUSIVE model. The method of the research was classroom action research that consist of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The instrument of data collection used observation and test. The technique of data analysis used qualitative and quantitative. The result of research, mitigation skill in cycle I is 60,71, cycle 2 70,86, and cycle 3 77,27. And also the social attitude in cycle 1 enough, cycle 2 enough, and cycle 3 good.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mitigasi bencana dan sikap sosial melalui penerapan model EXCLUSIVE. Metode penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian keterampilan mitigasi pada siklus I mencapai 60,71, siklus II 70,86, dan siklus III 77,27. Begitu pula sikap sosial pada siklus I cukup, siklus II cukup, dan siklus III baik.Kata kunci: EXCLUSIVE, mitigasi, sikap sosial.

Abstract

The aims of research were to increase motivation and study result by implementation of concept mapping strategy. The method of research was classroom action research that consist of planning, acting, observation, and reflection. The technique of data collection used non test and test. The technique of data analyze used qualitative and quantitative analyze. The results of research showed that implementation of concept mapping strategy for thematics learning can improve motivation and study result of student.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan strategi Concept Mapping. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklusnya, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan non tes dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi Concept Mapping dalam pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, motivasi, strategi concept mapping.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of student’s activity and the student’s learning outcomes by the average value of middle semester on Civic Education of elementary school 7 West Metro academic year 2012/2013. The researcher used classroom action research (PTK) method in this research. It consists of two cycles which is every cycle consists of 4 steps; planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data collecting technique used observation and student’s  learning test. Data analysis  technique were qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The research showed that the average value of student’s activity in cycle I (65,45%), cycle II (79,00%) that increase by 13,55%. The average value of student learning out comes can be seen from the average value in cycle I (62,11), cycle II (77,50), that increase by 15,39 and cycle III. The completeness of study in cycle I (38,89%), cycle II (83,33%) increase by 44,44%.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata nilai mid semester pada mata pelajaran PKn Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklusnya terdapat empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, obsevasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa pada siklus I (65,45%), pada siklus II (79,00%) meningkat sebesar 13,54%. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I (62,11), pada siklus II (77,50) meningkat sebesar 15,39. Ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus I (38,89%), pada siklus II (83,33%) meningkat sebesar 44,44 %.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, metode problem solving.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of implementing problem based learning model with graphic media to learning results. This research used experiment research method. Data collecting instruments were observation sheet and test. Data were analyzed by quantitative analysis. The results of research showed that there are significant influences on the application of problem based learning model with graphic media based on learning results in the affective, psychomotor, cognitive, and learning result as a whole.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning dengan media grafis terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Alat pengumpul data penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model problem based learning dengan media grafis terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa pada ranah afektif, psikomotor, kognitif, dan hasil belajar secara keseluruhan.Kata kunci: problem based learning, media grafis, hasil belajar.

Abstract

The method of research was classroom action research that consist of planning, acting, observation, and reflection. The technique of data collection used non test and test. The technique of data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of research showed that implementation of problem posing model for thematics learning can improve creative thinking skill and study result of student.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan model Problem Posing. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklusnya, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan non tes dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Posing dalam pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir kreatif, model problem posing.

Abstract

The procedure of this research through 4 steps; planing, acting, observing, reflecting. The data collecting in this research used observation paper for student activity, observation paper for teacher performance and formative test for student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique were qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The result of this research showed that application of strategy active learning type ICM on Civic Education lesson in the forth A class of Elementary School 1 West Metro can impact to increase the activity and student learning outcomes.Prosedur dilaksanakan melalui tiga siklus, dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari; perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, lembar observasi kinerja guru dan soal tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Index Card Match pada mata pelajaran PKn kelas IVASDN 1 Metro Barat berdampak pada peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, ICM, PKn.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low study result of the students in social science IVA Elementary School 2 South Metro. The purpose of this research was to improve the study result in social science learning through the application of problem-based learning model and probing-promting method. This type of research was a classroom action research conducted in two cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collectiontechniques was through nontest and test techniques. Data were analyzed by qualitative and quantitative aalysis. The results of this research showed that the application of Cooperative Learning model TPS type and graphic media can increase study result in social science learning at IV A student of SDN 2 Metro Selatan.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS kelas IVA SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe TPS dan Media Grafis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik nontes dan tes dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe TPS dan Media Grafis dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model cooperative learning tipe TPS, media grafis .

Abstract

The research purposes were to increase students social skills, teacher performance and study result by applying of script model. Type of research method was classroom action research by using some cycles; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collecting techniques were observation sheet and question test. The techniques of analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of research showed that the applying script model can increase students social skills and study result of social study.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial, kinerja guru dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model script. Jenis metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif.
