Abstract

Science learning in the IV th B class at Elementary School 5 Center Metro was not yet optimal. The aims of this research were to increase the learning activity and learning results of science study through cooperative learning model with the type of scramble. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Stages of each cycle were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data were obtained through non-test and test techniques using the observation sheet and questions test. Data were analyzed by using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this research showed that the implementation of cooperative learning type scramble science studies learning can increase the activity and results of scient studies.Pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV B SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa IPA melalui penerapan model cooperative learning tipe scramble. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Tahapan setiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui teknik non tes dan tes dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe scramble dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, model cooperative learning tipe scramble.
