Abstract

Abstrak: Supervising is a cooperative service. Supervising can be understood to be helpful in two directions as it is applied. In other words, the supervised instructor and the supervisor themselves are promoted and reorganized so that, in turn, teachers may become professionals. This study was conducted to reveal: 1) The role of the Principal in Learning Preparation to enhance teacher success as an Instructional Supervisor. 2) The role of the Principal in integrating learning to increase success as an Instructional Supervisor. 3) The role of the Principal in Learning Assessment to enhance teacher efficiency as an Instructional Supervisor. The role of the Principal as a supervisor in improving teacher performance at SDIT BaitulJannah has been well achieved from the results of the study but needs to be improved again. The Principal has done his best to guide, direct, design, inspire, assess, and maintain good ties from within and outside the school. However, there were some hurdles, including the short-term supervision of all teachers. While support is required, namely the teachers' willingness to obtain guidance from SDIT Principal BaitulJannah, active involvement of students in school activities, help from superiors, and good relations between school members.

Abstract

The Importanat of the principal's leadership in implementing a character education program attracts the author to conduct research and this article discusses the results of a literature review conducted by the author. There are a number of articles on the review of principals' leadership and character educatiob especially in the world context that can be found. The purpose of thus review is to find out the principal's leadership in realizing character education in a world  context. Based on the results of the literature reviews from various countries in the world, the authors find the scope of the article being reviewed is still very limited and it is very difficult to get literature that combines th two variables. The results of the literature review about principal's leadership shows that the principal's leadership in carrying out his role as a leader has an impact on teacher performance and student personality. Literature review of charcter education shows that the principal has a big role in realizing students personality. Thus, the authors are interested in following up related to the principal's leadership in realizing character education.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe increase inequity acces, improving quality and relevance of elementary school, improving governance and accountability of elementary school education in Kota Metro. This research based on qualitative programming and data collection implemented in various way such as field observation, documentation, and Focused Discussion Group (FGD). The result showed that equity in access, quality, relevance, governance and accountability of elementary school education in Kota Metro was not reach optimum level. Local Government recommended to having a cooperation with colleges in order to analyzing, mentoring, counseling, and evaluating an educational activity.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan akses yang tidak merata, peningkatan kualitas dan relevansi, peningkatan tata kelola dan akuntabilitas pendidikan sekolah dasar di Kota Metro. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pemrograman kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, dan Focused Discussion Group (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemerataan akses, kualitas, relevansi, tata kelola, dan akuntabilitas pendidikan sekolah dasar di Kota Metro belum mencapai tingkat  optimum. Pemerintah lokal direkomendasi  untuk memiliki kerja sama dengan perguruan tingi dalam usaha menganalisis, mentoring, konseling, dan evaluasi aktivitas kependidikan.

Abstract

The focus of this qualitative study is to describe the attempts made by Brawijaya University in developing its lecturers’ competence. Using snowball sampling, this study included data in the form of informa-tion from source people in the university and of relevant documents. The study revealed that the university encouraged its lecturers to further their study to both masters and doctoral degrees. In addition, the university offered certain rewards to the lecturers having their articles published in journals.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) influence of principal managerial competency toward the teacher performance of Junior High School Education in Tanggamus, (2) influence of principal supervision competency toward the teacher performance of Junior High School Education in Tanggamus, (3) influence of Co-working Principal and Vice Principal managerial competence and supervision competencies together on educational teacher performance of Junior High School. This research is quantitative correlation-approach. The results showed that, the principal managerial competence contribute positively 78.0 %. Principal supervision-competencies provide both positive and significant influence 79.6 %. Co-working of managerial competence and supervision competencies between  Principal and Vice Principal contribute positively and significantly 80.5 %.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus, (2) pengaruh kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus, (3) pengaruh kompetensi manajerial dan kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru SMPNegeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 78,0% (2) kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan sebesar 79,6%(3) secara bersama-sama kompetensi manajerial dan kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan sebesar 80,5 %.Kata kunci: kinerja guru, kompetensi manajerial, supervisi kepala sekolah

Abstract

This study is to find out and analyze the influence of the culture of the school, learning and sustainable development programme the profession jointly against the performance of the old teacher in Teluk Betung Utara at Bandar Lampung.The approach used in this study was the quantitative approach with a type of survey methods with quantitative approach asosiati. Based on the results of the research and the discussion then it can be noted that: (1) there is a positive influence of school culture on performance among teachers in the Teluk Betung Utara at Bandar Lampung. (2) there is a positive influence on performance learning facilities between teachers in district of old. (3) there is a positive influence among the sustainable development programme the profession against the performance of the old teacher. (4) there is a positive influence between the culture of the school, learning and sustainable development programme the profession jointly against the performance of the old teacher Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh budaya sekolah, fasilitas pembelajaran dan Program Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PPKB) secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru PAUD di Kecamatan Teluk Betung Utara Kota Bandar Lampung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiati. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dan pembahasan maka dapat diketahui bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru PAUD (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara fasilitas pembelajaran terhadap kinerja guru PAUD. (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara program pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan (PPKB) terhadap kinerja guru PAUD. (4) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara budaya sekolah, fasilitas pembelajaran dan program pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan (PPKB) secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru PAUD. Kata kunci: budaya sekolah, fasilitas pembelajaran, kinerja guru.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze, describe and evaluate of Inclusive Education Program Implementation in SMAN 2 Metro. This study used qualitative approach. Techniques of collecting data were interviewing, observations and documentations. Analysis data techniques used data interactive type of Miles and Hubbermans theories. The results of study were (1). Contact; implementation of Inclusive Education Program referred Metro Mayors rules related to Implementation of Inclusive Education Program. (2). Input; a. Students were able to do behavior modification, b. mastered of concept and learning activity process for blind, deaf, intellectual disorder, parts of body and movement disorder, behavior and social disorder. (3). Process; Implementation of Inclusive Education Program could not be separated with modification curriculum as a support for this program. It can be concluded that process of supplying infrastructures were run well but the process of this implementation did not run well yet.Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis, mendeskripsikan dan mengevaluasi pengimplementasian program pendidikan inklusif di SMAN 2 Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik mengumpulkan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data menggunakan pola interaktif data Miles dan Hubberman. Hasil penelitian diperoleh adalah (1). Contact: Pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusi di SMAN 2 Metro mengacu pada peraturan Walikota Metro tentang penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi. (2). Input: a. Anak mampu melakukan modifikasi perilaku, b. menguasai konsep dan kenterampilan pembelajaran bagi anak yang mengalami gangguan penglihatan, pendengaran, intelektual, anggota tubuh dan gerak, perilaku dan sosial. (3) Process: Proses penyelenggaraan program pendidikan inklusi tidak terlepas dari kurikulum yang dikembangkannya sebagai pendukung terlaksananya pendidikan inklusi. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa proses pengadaan sarana dan prasarana berjalan dengan lancar akan tetapi proses penyelenggaraan belum berjalan dengan maksimal.Kata kunci: implementasi, model CIPP, program pendidikan inklusif, studi evaluatif

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the managerial leadership of the principal. This research is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological approach, the research informants Principal Deputy Principal consisting of Vice Principal of Curriculum, Vice Principal of Facilities and Infrastructure, Vice Principal of Student Affairs, Vice Principal of Quality Management and Public Relations. The data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, results of this study demonstrate managerial ability principals in realizing quality school management. The concept of skills possessed by principals namely: understanding the complexity of the management of school organization, the ability to make decisions at the level of school education, and the ability to create a mapping school organization. Human relations skills possessed by the principal, skill in building cooperation with schools, teachers' skills in motivating performance, skill in organizing elements of internal school education, and skills in organizing external elements of the school education. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan manajerial kepala sekolah.Penelitianinimerupakan penelitian pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, informan penelitian Kepala Sekolah para Wakil Kepala Sekolah yang terdiri dari Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Sarana Dan Prasarana, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Manajemen Mutu dan Humas. Pengumpulandatadilakukandengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dalam mewujudkan pengelolaan sekolah yang bermutu. KeterampilanKonsep yang dimiliki oleh kepala sekolah yakni: memahami komplek sitas pengelolaan organisasi sekolah, kemampuan dalam membuat keputusan pendidikan pada level sekolah, dan kemampuan dalam membuat pemetaan organisasi sekolah. Keterampilan hubungan antar manusia dimiliki oleh kepala sekolah, keterampilan dalam membangun kerjasama dengan sekolah, keterampilan dalam memotivasi kinerja guru, keterampilan dalam mengorganisasikan elemen-elemen pendidikan intern sekolah, dan ekstern sekolah.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan manajerial kepala sekolah, mutu

Abstract

This thesis intended to evaluate the implementation of quality assurance programs of education in SMP Negeri 1 Abung Barat school year 2013/2014 by using the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) model, through the evaluation approach with a qualitative description method. The results showed that: in the aspect of context, education quality assurance program provided quality education to the community, and enhance the prestige of the school. In the aspect of the input consists of two components, namely teacher standards, and management standards, the average 86.04% compliance with both criteria. In the aspect of the process consists of three components: content standards, processes standardized and evaluation standard with 75.66% moderate criteria. In the aspect of products standard which were measured was a graduate standard, this standard fulfillment is 100%. Based on the grouping of five national standards, SMP Negeri 1 Abung Barat is the school towards SNP group 3, with a value of five national education standards was 79.81 (? 6.5).Tesis ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program jaminan kualitas pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Abung Barat tahun ajaran 2013/2014 dengan menggunakan model Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP), melalui pendekatan evaluasi dengan metode deskripsi kualitatif . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Dalam aspek konteks, program jaminan kualitas pendidikan memberikan pendidikan yang berkualitas kepada masyarakat, dan meningkatkan prestise sekolah. Dalam aspek input terdiri dari dua komponen, yaitu standar guru, dan standar pengelolaan, rata-rata 86,04% sesuai dengan kriteria. Dalam aspek proses terdiri dari tiga komponen: standar isi, standar proses dan standar penilaian dengan 75,66% kriteria sedang. Dalam aspek standar produk yang diukur adalah standar lulusan, pemenuhan standar ini adalah 100%. Berdasarkan pengelompokan lima standar nasional, SMP Negeri 1 Abung Barat Menuju kelompok SNP 3, dengan nilai lima standar pendidikan nasional adalah 79,81 (? 6,5).Kata kunci: CIPP, evaluasi progam, penjaminan mutu pendidikan

Abstract

The research aims to investigate the process of management in the practice of industry in the program expertise competence in business trip in SMKN 3 Bandar lampung. The method used in research was the descriptive with the approach qualitative The date were collected using questionnaire,observation and documentation. The respondents were on:1) Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs, 2) Vice Principal for Public Relation, 3). Chairman of Tourism Trip Business Expertise Program, 4) Industrial Work Practice Instructor, 5) Grade XI Students of tourism trip Business Expertise Program SMKN 3 Bandar lampung the lesson 2016 / 2017. The results of research showed that management in the practice of industry in the expertise competence at SMKN 3 Bandar Lampung has out the functions of Planning, Organization, Actuating and Evaluation which are simple tobe applied but these have not been ideally formulated.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses manajemen praktik kerja industri pada kompetensi keahlian usaha perjalananan wisata di SMK Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan pertanyaan dan observasi. Populasi penelitian adalah Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kurikulum, Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang hubungan masyarakat (Humas), Ketua Program Keahlian Usaha Perjalanan Wisata, Guru Pembimbing praktik kerja industri dan dan Siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Usaha Perjalanan Wisata SMK Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen praktik kerja industri pada kompetensi Keahlian Usaha Perjalananan Wisata di SMK Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung melaksanakan fungsi-fungsi Perencanaan, Pengorganisasian, Pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dalam bentuk yang sederhana dan tidak tertulis.Kata kunci: implementasi, manajemen, praktek kerja industri
