Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze and to find out the influence of the implementation of cooperative learning model  jigsaw type to the thematic learning result of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur. The type of this research was experimental research with quantitative approach. The research method used was quasi experimental design. The research design used was non-equivalent control group design. The results showed that increase in the N-Gain experimental class is 0.55 higher than in the control class which is 0.31. Hypothesis test obtained by t count data was 3.57 while t table equal to 2.00, the comparison showed (3.57 2.000) there was positive and significant influence on applying cooperative learning jigsaw type result of learning.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik  kelas V SD Negeri 4 Metro Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design.Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan N- Gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi yaitu 0,55 dibandingkan kelas kontrol yaitu 0,31. Uji hipotesis diperoleh data thitung  3,57 sedangkan ttabel  2,00, perbandingan tersebut menunjukkan (3,57 2,00) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada penerapan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar. Kata kunci: Cooperative learning,  jigsaw, hasil belajar tematik.
