Abstract

In Surabaya, there is PT. X, which runs a syar'i garment SME business. The size of the area and the number of employees make this company have certain efforts to run its business. This study analyzes the influence of Organizational Culture, Servant Leadership, and Competence on Quality of Work Life and Employee Performance (Case Study of Syar'i Garment SMEs). This study uses a quantitative approach. The research hypothesis testing is carried out using a Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The study results explain that organizational culture has a significant influence on the quality of work-life. Servant Leadership has no significant effect on the quality of work life, competence has a significant effect on the quality of work life, and organizational culture has a considerable impact on employee performance. Servant Leadership does not affect employee performance, competence has a significant effect on employee performance, and quality of work-life significantly affects employee performance.

Abstract

The Balanced Scorecard analyzes the overall performance of the organization through four perspectives. This study tries to show a Balance Scorecard perspective, then a SWOT analysis and can determine the company's position according to the Internal External Matrix. The object of this research is a holding company in the banking sector. Data collection methods in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data can be obtained through interviews with key informants, and secondary data is obtained through documentation of the required data obtained from PT Bank X. The matrix is in accordance with the company's SWOT, then the results will be clarified using the IFE Matrix (Strength - Weakness) and EFE Matrix (Opportunities - Threats). The two Matrix that has been formed are plotted into the Internal - External Matrix and are in quadrant 1, so that PT Bank X's strategic position can be found in the Grow and Build position. The most appropriate strategy based on the Grow and Build position is to apply an Intensive Strategy with a specific strategy using market development strategies and product development. Based on the analysis of the BSC and IE Matrix, a strategic recommendation is produced on product development, including making efforts to improve the quality of human resources, improve credit quality, and digitize banking in preparing for competition in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer preferences for organic food in Surabaya and recommend the strategic implications of using the Business Model Canvas to open organic food outlets. The research design was carried out with a quantitative descriptive method approach. The sampling method was carried out by judgmental sampling technique, with the respondents' criteria being 100 consumers of organic products. In this study, the types of data collected were: primary data in the form of a questionnaire distributed to people who shop at organic food restaurants in Surabaya; secondary data, as the data or information obtained through literature studies, theories, and literature related to organic food, and the variables used are perceptions of lifestyle, perceptions of health, perceptions of environmental impacts and perceptions of the Greens community as independent variables and interest in buying organic products in Surabaya as the dependent variable. This research provides strategic implications of managerial strategies in the activity of organic food outlets to increase sales using a marketing strategy consisting of production, price, promotion, distribution and this strategy is helpful in linking consumers in terms of quantity, quality, and balance that can provide better profits.
