Abstract

This paper aims to construct a mathematical model of the pendulum motion by considering the frictional force of air. The study was conducted by first making a pendulum motion illustration with a length of rope and pendulum mass vertically that given deviation and speed. Based on that created a mathematical model of motion of the pendulum and its determination to find out the time it takes the pendulum passing through the zero point and the current time there is no change in the speed deviation of the pendulum. In this study will also be given a simulation of mathematical models that have been made.

Abstract

We have known that when the plane encountered turbulence or in a hard landing, the aircraft engine will swing to dampen vibrations of the aircraft wing. Thus, based on rights, this research is investigating and constructing mathematical model of aircraft wing vibration. In this research, we described not only the creation of mathematical models, but also the analysis of the model and its interpretation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis RPG Maker VX ACE pada materi aritmatika sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain model ADDIE. Subjek populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 32 Tangerang yang berjumlah 71 siswa, dengan mengambil sampel dua kelas sebanyak 16 siswa kelas VIII 8 dan 36 siswa kelas VIII 9. Masalah yang terjadi di lapangan yakni media ajar disekolah hanya dari LKS saja, sehingga sering membuat siswa bosan. Tujuan Penelitian ini yakni mengembangkan media ajar materi aritmatika sosial memanfaatkan VX ACE berbasis RPG. Materi aritmatika sosial diambil dikarenakan materi ini penting untuk siswa SMP.  Metode atau Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, wawancara kebutuhan, angket validasi ahli, angket respon guru dan siswa, serta instrumen soal tes berbentuk pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 25 soal. Hasil validasi ahli media dan materi masing-masing diperoleh nilai rata-rata total sebesar 4,62 dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Hasil validasi ahli pendidikan matematika diperoleh nilai rata-rata total sebesar 4,12 dengan kriteria “baik”. Hasil praktikalitas oleh siswa dalam uji terbatas dan uji skala luas masing-masing memperoleh nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,22 dan 3,19 dengan kriteria “baik”. Hasil praktikalitas oleh guru memperoleh nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 4,55 dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Hasil efektifitas pada uji coba terbatas dan luas diperoleh persentase siswa yang tuntas sebesar 81%, lebih tinggi dari siswa yang belum tuntas sebesar 19% (Sangat Baik). Simpulan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis RPG Maker VX ACE pada materi aritmatika sosial yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif.
