Abstract

This research showing comparison accuration regression model using Gauss LU Decomposition and Backward Method. Regression model in this research is a model that  explaining influence finance ratios against profit percentage in manufacture companies noted in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) year 2010. The regression model is an output of Gauss LU Decomposition using SPSS and Backward method. Furthermore in this research coefficient that compile regression model is comparing between of Gauss LU Decomposition and Backward method. The result showing that coefficient of Backward Method has some errors than coefficient of Gauss LU Decomposition, but the value of nine coefficient error not bigger that 10 percent and still can be accepted. In this research also delivered accuracy of accounting profit some manufacture companies using the two of that method.

Abstract

This paper aims to construct a mathematical model of the pendulum motion by considering the frictional force of air. The study was conducted by first making a pendulum motion illustration with a length of rope and pendulum mass vertically that given deviation and speed. Based on that created a mathematical model of motion of the pendulum and its determination to find out the time it takes the pendulum passing through the zero point and the current time there is no change in the speed deviation of the pendulum. In this study will also be given a simulation of mathematical models that have been made.

Abstract

We have known that when the plane encountered turbulence or in a hard landing, the aircraft engine will swing to dampen vibrations of the aircraft wing. Thus, based on rights, this research is investigating and constructing mathematical model of aircraft wing vibration. In this research, we described not only the creation of mathematical models, but also the analysis of the model and its interpretation.
