Abstract

Child poverty is a state when children experience a lot of loss of their basic rights, such as adequate food, housing, health, safe drinking water. Proper sanitation facilities, information, education, and access to services. Fulfillment of children’s basic rights during their growth and development needs to be considered in order to become a quality future generations of the nation. The quality of children whose basic rights are not fulfilled has potential to create poor individuals and trapped in a cycle of poverty. The purpose of this study is to find out the general description of child poverty in multidimensional manner using Multiple Overlapping Deprivation Analysis (MODA) and identify socio-demographic factors that affect child poverty in Indonesia in 2021 by applying a binary logistic regression model. The results showed that the percentage of multidimensional child poverty in Indonesia in 2021 was 49.5 percent. In addition, child’s age, child’s gender, age of household head, gender of household head, working status of household head, education of household head, parenting status, number of household members significantly affect the multidimensional poverty of children in Indonesia. The tendency of children in the age group 0-4 years to experience deprivation on children's rights in a multidimensional manner was 3.5 times compared to children in the age group 5-17 years.

Abstract

Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are favorable power source devices at the last two decades, owing to high energy density, rechargeable, long life cycle, portable, safe, rechargeable, good performance and friendly environment. To support their development, in this research has been successfully prepared polymer electrolyte membrane, a main component of LIBs, based on 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate ([EMIm]Ac) ionic liquid-plasticized methyl cellulose/lithium perchlorate (MC/LiClO4). [EMIm]Ac ionic  liquid was easy synthesized by metathesis reaction between 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([EMIm]Br) ionic liquid and potassium acetate (CH3COOK) at ambient temperature, for 1 hour. [EMIm]Ac ionic liquid was functional groups analyzed with Fourier Transform Infra-red (FT-IR) and structural analyzed with 1H-Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and 13C-NMR. [EMIm]Ac ionic liquid-plasticized MC/LiClO4 biopolymer electrolyte membrane was prepared by casting solution, with [EMIm]Ac ionic liquid content, 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30% (w/w). Effect of 15% (w/w) [EMIm]Ac ionic liquid incorporation to MC/LiClO4 showed the best condition and selected as the optimum condition with conductivity, tensile strength, elongation break, and thermal stability of 9.160×10-3 S.cm-1, 24.19 MPa, 36.43%, ~256 and ~370 ºC, respectively. These results confirm that [EMIm]Ac ionic liquid can plasticize biopolymer electrolyte membranes of MC/LiClO4 to be appealing performances to fulfill the LIB’s separator requirement. Abstract

Zeolites are widely applied in various fields owing to their outstanding properties. However, our understanding on the nature of zeolite synthesis is not completed yet due to its high dimensional parameters. Machine learning has the ability to unravel fundamental relationships between complex parameters and predict the possible outcomes; thus, it can potentially reveal the nature of zeolite synthesis. This mini review highlights the current use of machine learning to comprehend the black box issue in zeolite synthesis. Conventional syntheses of zeolite were also elaborated to showcase the gap between traditional methods and machine learning approaches in zeolite synthesis. The future prospects of machine learning applications in zeolite synthesis are also discussed. This mini-review may bring crucial insights on the zeolite synthesis process.

Abstract

The coverage of birth certificate ownership among children aged 0–4 years in Eastern Indonesia (KTI) in 2024 is 78.29 percent, which has not yet reached the 2024 RPJMN target of 100 percent and is projected to remain below the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target by 2030. This study aims to provide an overview of birth certificate ownership among households with children aged 0–4 years in KTI in 2024 and to analyze household and regional characteristics that influence birth certificate ownership. The data used is from the March 2024 Susenas and is analyzed both descriptively and inferentially using multilevel binary logistic regression. The results show that 80.83 percent of households with children aged 0–4 years in KTI possess a birth certificate. Households living in urban areas, with heads of household who have at least a primary education, are non-poor, have internet access, and are located in regions with higher average years of schooling and a higher percentage of births occurring in health facilities are more likely to own a birth certificate.
