Abstract

BUMDes is Lembaga Usaha Desa (Village Business Institutions) that managed by the community and Government of the Village for the effort to strengthen the village’s economy and it formed based on the needs and potential of the village. This study aims to determine the management process of BUMDes in Lerep Village, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. The research approach used was descriptive qualitative. The data collected by using data collection techniques through interviews with informants who are considered to have the potential to provide information about the management process of the BUMDes Gerbang Lentera as Penggerak Desa Wisata Lerep (The Driver of the Lerep Tourism Village), also through interviews and documentation of the management results of BUMDes.The results of the study indicate that even though it is still new, BUMDes Gerbang Lentera is one of the BUMDes whose management is already good in Semarang Regency, so that it becomes another village reference for visits and comparative studies. The management process of BUMDes is going well in accordance with the objectives of the establishment of BUMDes. This can be proved by the business units that running well. The good factors for managing the BUMDes Gerbang Lentera are the available resources, the community participation and empowerment, government support and the existence of cooperation with third parties. Yet, there are still obstacles to the development of BUMDes, namely that, it is still difficult to find employees because the salaries are less promising. The conclusions of the management of BUMDes Gerbang Lentera Desa Lerep have been very good, especially compared to other BUMDes in Semarang Regency. Itis just like most BUMDes in other villages in Semarang Regency, it is still difficult to find employees because BUMDes still have difficulties in providing salaries. Keywords: Village Business Institutions, Management, Obstacles

Abstract

In order to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels, acetone has emerged as an important platform chemical for various industrial applications. Acetone can be efficiently produced through the dehydrogenation of isopropanol, using metal-based catalysts with high activity and selectivity. The technology for this acetone production was simulated using Aspen HYSYS software, with operating parameters based on the reaction dynamics model for isopropanol dehydrogenation. This study evaluated the modification of the dehydrogenation process to improve energy efficiency by optimizing the heat transfer unit. The product heat leaving the reactor will be cooled in a heat exchanger and the heat is used to increase the heat from the mixer output, this is designed to utilize the process output energy, thus utilizing the heat exchanger as a cooler for the reactor output, thereby reducing additional energy consumption and improving the overall process sustainability. The modification includes increasing the acetone production yield and energy efficiency in the heat transfer unit to reduce energy consumption from 10.9296 MMBtu/h to 7.7431 MMBtu/h by utilizing the heat exchanger as a cooler for the reactor output back and at the same time a heater for the mixer output as a process optimization. Abstract

This research aims to overcome the limitations of the Stable Diffusion model in creating conceptual works of art, focusing on problem identification, research objectives, methodology and research results. Even though Stable Diffusion has been recognized as the best model, especially in the context of creating conceptual artwork, there is still a need to simplify the process of creating concept art and find the most suitable generative model. This research used three methods: Latent Diffusion Model, Dreambooth: fine-tuning Model, and Stable Diffusion. The research results show that the Dreambooth model produces a more real and realistic painting style, while Textual Inversion tends towards a fantasy and cartoonist style. Although the effectiveness of both is relatively high, with minimal differences, the Dreambooth model is proven to be more effective based on the consistency of FID, PSNR, and visual perception scores. The Dreambooth model is more efficient in training time, even though it requires more memory, while the inference time for both is relatively similar. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of artificial intelligence in the creative industries, opens up opportunities to improve the use of generative models in creating conceptual works of art, and can potentially drive positive change in the use of artificial intelligence in the creative industries more broadly.
