Abstract

This research aims to determine research trends in library services through the use of institutional repositories. This research was conducted in April 2024 by searching through the Scopus database with the keywords library services and institutional repositories. The search result data was processed and analyzed descriptively using the VOSViewer application to determine the bibliometric map of this research. The research results show that the development of library service research through the use of institutional repositories with bibliometric analysis indexed by Scopus from 1982 to 2023 has increased significantly but fluctuated. The journal that most publishes this research is OCLC Systems And Services. The most productive researcher writing this research was Joachim Schöpfel. The institution that publishes the most research is the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The most country that publishes this research is the United States. The most common type of document from this research is in the form of articles. The dominant field is Social Sciences. Through network visualization, relationships between scientific concepts and 9 clusters can be identified. The density and network visualization shows that in the development of this research there are still opportunities for further research.

Abstract

Setiap individu menghasilkan arsip dalam kehidupan sehari-sehari, baik dalam bentuk fisik maupun digital. Pengelolaan arsip digital pribadi sangat penting untuk dilakukan demi menjaga informasi dapat tetap diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi proses pengelolaan arsip digital pribadi serta tantangan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa Manajemen Rekod dan Arsip Universitas Indonesia. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus oleh mahasiswa MRA yang aktif melakukan Personal Digital Archiving (PDA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa telah menerapkan langkah-langkah PDA seperti pengumpulan, penilaian, pendeskripsian, penyimpanan, dan pemeliharaan arsip digital pribadi mereka dengan efektif. Layanan cloud seperti Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud, dan Dropbox digunakan untuk memudahkan penyimpanan dan backup data. Namun, mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan seperti kurangnya disiplin dalam backup rutin dan kekhawatiran terhadap keamanan data. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya mempelajari teknologi dalam pengelolaan arsip digital pribadi untuk memastikan aksesibilitas dan keamanan jangka panjang.

Abstract

There is a need to preserve manuscript information in an effort to save it, one of which is cataloging, which will make it easier for users to access manuscript searches. This article will discuss the techniques used in the process of cataloging ancient manuscripts, the contributions made to the cataloging of ancient manuscripts, and the challenges faced in the process of cataloging ancient manuscripts for the preservation of their information. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review (SLR) using publication citation limits from the period 2018–2023, or the last 6 years. The results show that various cataloging techniques rely on descriptive information from manuscripts to identify ancient manuscripts with diverse languages and characters. Apart from that, the use of bibliographic records and comparing standards to adjust the condition of manuscripts is also used in manuscript cataloging techniques. The contribution of cataloging ancient manuscripts has influenced aspects such as inaccuracies, digitization, software development, and standardization. Challenges in cataloging ancient manuscripts include technical issues such as inaccuracies and mistrust, as well as operational challenges due to limited resources and funding.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of China's electric vehicle distribution on the cultural identity of Jakartans. With increasing air pollution and congestion in the capital city, electric vehicles have emerged as a sustainable transportation solution. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews with 5 sources of information, namely Mr. Susanto, Mr. Robert, Mrs. Astrid, Mrs. Ratna and Mrs. Jeane. This was done to understand the adoption of electric vehicles affecting social values, cultural interactions, and community mobility patterns. The results of the study show that electric vehicles are not only an alternative transportation, but also a symbol of status and modernity. People are starting to adopt a more environmentally friendly lifestyle, encouraging the formation of communities that care about sustainability issues. However, challenges such as skepticism about product quality and concerns about losing jobs in the traditional transportation sector have also emerged, creating resistance. To overcome these challenges, public education and collaboration between government, industry, and communities are essential. With an inclusive approach, the distribution of electric vehicles can improve the quality of life of Jakartans and shape a more progressive cultural identity. This study is expected to provide new insights into the relationship between technology, culture, and society in the modern era.

Abstract

The digitization of inactive records is carried out by Institution X in order to arrange inactive records for the move to the new national capital using the SRIKANDI application. The digitization of inactive records makes the transfer of records more effective and efficient. This study aims to describe the process the digitization of inactive records so that it is ready for arrangement and transfer, by examining obstacles and solutions to problems that occur during the process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and the data collection process is carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation of the research process. Conclusion on the process of displacement and the digitization of inactive records Institution X is a government records transfer program towards integration and collaboration. This program refers to the Regulation of the Head of ANRI regarding the transfer, transfer of media and inactive records that collaborate to materialize in the policy of accelerating the arrangement of records of ministries/institutions that will move to the Capital City of the Nusantara (IKN). The compliance of implementers and agencies with ANRI's records management procedures and strategies determines the success of the digitization of inactive records.

Abstract

Kemenkeu Learning Center (KLC) merupakan aplikasi yang mengelola arsip dan konten digital sebagai konsekuensi dari proses bisnis yang dijalankan. Untuk itu, evaluasi perlu dilakukan untuk melihat kapabilitas aplikasi dalam memelihara dan melestarikan keutuhan dan autentisitas arsip yang tercipta selama daur hidup arsip. Penelitian terhadap kapabilitas organisasi dan layanan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Digital Preservation Coalition Rapid Assessment Model (DPC RAM) sebagai kerangka penilaian kapabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur dan proses bisnis dalam KLC telah memenuhi kapabilitas dalam pelestarian arsip digital khususnya terkait kelangsungan organisasi, kebijakan dan strategi, legal dan etis, serta manajemen metadata. Preservasi arsip pada KLC juga memiliki keunggulan dalam hal kapabilitas teknologi informasi, proses akuisisi dan transfer, preservasi bitstream, hingga proses penemuan dan akses. Meski demikian, kelemahan masih ditemukan dalam hal perbaikan berkelanjutan, komuniatas, serta preservasi konten. Penelitian ini menunjukkan kemampuan DPC RAM sebagai model penilaian preservasi arsip yang menyeluruh dari segi organisasi maupun infrastruktur teknologi.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the use of Google Drive in information management at the villa office. In this study, a survey research method was used with a quantitative approach to see user satisfaction in using Google Drive with the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model. The study population used all office members at one of the villa managers in Bali, totaling 34 people and was then said to be a saturated sample. In testing the data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, testing the hypothesis using the F test and t test. The research results show that three of the five independent variables influence user satisfaction, including accuracy, ease of use and timeliness with a satisfaction level above 80%. Users prefer and accept applications that are easy to use with accuracy and timeliness in accessing Google Drive.Keywords: Google Drive; information management; utilizationAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan Google Drive dalam manajemen informasi di kantor villa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk melihat kepuasan pengguna dalam menggunakan Google Drive dengan model End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). Populasi penelitian menggunakan seluruh anggota kantor di salah satu pengelola villa di Bali yang berjumlah 34 orang dan selanjutnya dikatakan sebagai sampel jenuh. Uji analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Uji F dan Uji t. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, tiga dari lima variabel bebas berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pengguna diantaranya variabel accuracy/akurasi, ease of use/kemudahan penggunaan dan timeliness/ketepatan waktu dengan tingkat kepuasan diatas 80%. Pengguna lebih memilih dan menerima aplikasi yang mudah digunakan dengan keakuratan dan ketepatan waktu dalam mengakses Google Drive. Kata Kunci: Google Drive; manajemen informasi, penggunaan

Abstract

This study discusses about the Application of the Records Retention Schedule for Records Retention at the Supreme Court Institution of the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of this research discussion is to discuss the description of the application of Records Retention Schedule (RRS) in the process of administering the archives becoming archives which will be preserved in the Supreme Court institutional archive in accordance with the established RRS guidelines. It is a qualitative research using observation and interview in order to gather information about the implementation of RRS with several archival management units in the Supreme Court Archives Depot. RRS is viewed as merely a policy in the mind of staff of Supreme Court Archives Depot. The volume of archives produced exceeds the capacity according to the requirements. This makes the staff of archive more use their knowledge rather then following the rules in applying in RRS to do appraisal in retention process.

Abstract

Management of inactive records must be carried out to maintain their value and prevent them from becoming messy. Messy records are still found in the archive storage of the Ministry of CX's Record Center. The processing unit sends these records in the form of boxes and sacks without a file list attached. Archives have a very important role as a source of information for an organization. This study aims to explain the management of inactive dynamic archives at the Archives Unit of the Ministry of CX in terms of procedures, human resources and also facilities and infrastructure as a form of archivist compliance with the rules. The research method used is the case study method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used for this research is an interview with eight informants who were archivists at the Ministry of CX. The results of this study indicate that, in handling inactive records, there are still many messy records caused by the knowledge and awareness of the processors in interpreting the records in the organization. This affects the compliance of archivists in the Processing Unit to manage their records properly, even though there are procedures and policies in place, problems are still caused in the original order at the Archives Unit. Supporting facilities and infrastructure were converted and rooms did not meet standards. As a result, archivists in the Archives Unit must re-manage it so that it is in accordance with the original order of the archives in the Archives Unit.
