Abstract

In general, the present attendance system is using a paper  file containing the signature column of the participating students and lecturers of the course. The problem that arises is the presence of signature due to the student's absence. Students in one sem ester must attend lectures as much as 75% of meetings held lecturers as the requirement to take the final exam of the semester. Student attendance calculations take a relatively long time for each course. For that in this research made  cource attendance system based on radio frequency identification (RFID) and fingerprint. As RFID card used e -ID card.  The result  showed that the maximum e-KTP card reading distance of 2 cm and fingerprint ID reading with time between 1.945 to 2.227 seconds. The  success rate of reading e-KTP card and fingerprint ID is 100%. The overall test of attendance system shows 100% success rate. Presence data is displayed in the GUI and stored in database and exported in .xls format.Keywords: RFID, Fingerprint, Presence, Visual Basic 6.0, MySQL, Arduino Mega 2560

Abstract

At crossroads there is often a queue of vehicles that are not evenly distributed in each branch, but the length of the green light remains (not adaptive). So prototype was made to regulate the green light based on the number of vehicles with the help of the Fuzzy Logic Algorithm. Beginning with the next fuzzification stage with the help of the rule base to the defuzzification stage which produces a long green light. The results of the study, Fuzzy Logic algorithm can set the length of green light for each branch based on the number of vehicles. If a branch has more vehicles than other branches, the length of time for the green light on the branch is longer than the other branches. The percentage of error testing with theoretical calculations is 0.05% and the percentage of success is 99.95%.

Abstract

The power generated by a power plant driven by windmills and waterwheels and solar power is unstable,. each depends on wind speed, water flow, and solar radiation, repeatively. This results in the acquisition of energy not being optimal if the load is not adjusted to the capability of the generating power. In this study a load control automation system has been created that can adjust to the ability of the resource so that optimal energy is obtained by the hysteresis method. When the power goes up and down the load adjusts hysterically, so that optimal energy is obtained.

Abstract

This paper describe the single chip mode prototype of automatic paper and price counting tool in old type photocopying machine based on AT89S51 microcontroller. The experiment showed the prototype had been design could count how many paper out from photocopying machine and then calculate its price. The number of the paper and calculation result in rupiahs was displayed at LCD screen. Abstract

Pemanfaatan lahan disekitar lokasi wisata embung Grigak, Panggang, Gunung Kidul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat dalam rangka peningkatan ekonomi. Embung Grigak merupakan lokasi wisata yang dikelola bersama antara masyarakat Dusun Karang dengan EcoCamp Mangunkarsa. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan ekonomi yang dilakukan adalah pengadaan kebun hidroponik. Hasil dari kebun hidroponik dipergunakan untuk melayani kebutuhan tanaman sayuran bagi resto di Embung Grigak. Kebutuhan kebun hidroponik yang utama adalah sistem pengairan yang kontinyu. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan instalasi pompa air dengan memanfaatkan energi surya sebagai pembangkit listriknya. Hasil dari instalasi kebun hidroponik dan perangkat sistem pengairan dengan panel surya telah mampu diterapkan dan digunakan dengan baik. Perangkat tersebut kemudian akan dikelola oleh Karang Taruna Dusun Karang dan Relawan EcoCamp Mangunkarsa.

Abstract

The Grigak Beach community experiences difficulty obtaining clean water, especially during the dry season. The lack of duration of the solar panel system that powers the water pump in the drilled well is the cause. Therefore, an effort was made to relocate the solar panel system from the previous location to a new location, which allows the solar panel system to have a longer lifespan. The community service that was carried out successfully relocated the solar panel system from the old location to the new one. The solar panel system can have a lifespan of about two hours longer.

Abstract

To meet the 23% renewable energy mix target by 2025, the Indonesian government continues to encourage the installation of on-grid rooftop solar power generator systems for PLN electricity customers. However, the results were not as expected. This was due to the high investment costs and there were still many public doubts about the effectiveness of solar energy results in an effort to save PLN electricity bill payments. In this study, an on-grid rooftop solar power generator system with 1000WP solar panel power was implemented on the customer of electricity PLN 900VA R1M to determine the energy gain produced by the system in an effort to reduce the amount of PLN electricity bill payments. The results of the research for 6 months show that the daily average power of the solar system was 300 watts, with an average daily energy gain of 1.8kWH. The average daily electricity consumption of PLN is 7.85 kWH. The energy efficiency of the solar power generator system installed by PLN 900VA electricity customers can reach 23% with savings in billing costs for 6 months of 8%
