Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar Konsep Dasar IPA SD untuk mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas PGRI Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan modifikasi model pengembangan ADDIE dan model pengembangan Tessmer. Penelitian ini terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: tahap analisis, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Kegiatan pada tahap analisis kebutuhan meliputi analisis materi, analisis buku-buku teks Konsep Dasar IPA SD dan karakteristik mahasiswa PGSD. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan didesain buku ajar dengan materi konsep dasar IPA sesuai dengan karakteristik mahasiswa PGSD. Desain buku ajar menjadi prototype buku ajar konsep IPA. Berdasarkan prototype buku ajar yang dihasilkan dikembangkan buku ajar konsep IPA SD. Hasil pengembangan buku ajar dinilai oleh ahli dan diujicobakan. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan bahwa N-gain pemahaman konsep mahasiswa adalah 0,72 dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar Konsep IPA SD dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Fisika Siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to develop audio-visual media in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for fifth grade elementary school students that are valid, practical and have a potential effect on improving students' conceptual understanding. The background of this study is based on the difficulties often experienced by teachers and students in conveying and understanding abstract and complex IPAS concepts, such as the material "Getting to Know the Earth". The available learning media tend to be monotonous and do not facilitate the cognitive needs of students who are at the concrete operational stage. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The validity of the media was tested by material experts, media experts, and IPAS teachers, while practicality was assessed through limited and extensive trials in elementary schools. The effectiveness of the media was tested through a pretest-posttest test. The results of the study showed that the audio-visual media developed was in the very valid category (mean validation score> 85%), practical for use by teachers and students (mean practicality score> 80%), and had a potential effect on improving understanding of IPAS concepts, as evidenced by a significant increase in posttest scores. Thus, this audio-visual media is worthy of being used as an alternative for learning science in elementary schools to help students understand concepts in a more concrete, interesting, and meaningful way.

Abstract

This research and development aimed to produce a make a match-based flash card learning media that is valid, practical, and effective for use in fourth-grade IPAS learning. The study was prompted by a needs analysis which revealed that most fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 27 Palembang were not accustomed to using interactive learning media such as flash cards and experienced difficulties in understanding IPAS material, particularly the topic of states of matter and their changes. Furthermore, student participation in learning activities was generally low. The development process followed the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through expert validation, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Validation by three experts resulted in an average score of 92.5%, indicating high validity. Practicality testing through one-to-one and small group assessments yielded scores of 97.3% and 96.8%, respectively, categorized as highly practical. Effectiveness testing showed an N-Gain score of 0.77, indicating a high level of effectiveness. Therefore, the make a match-based flash card media is considered suitable for enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and engagement in IPAS learning for fourth-grade students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan video pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva pada materi usaha dan energi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Palembang. Metode penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D). Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, media, dan desain menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan sangat tinggi, dengan rata-rata 94,2% (materi), 93,7% (media), dan 94,2% (desain). Uji coba produk melibatkan siswa dalam dua tahap: one-to-one (3 siswa) dengan hasil 86% (sangat praktis) dan small group (10 siswa) dengan hasil 82,6% (praktis). Video ini dinilai efektif dalam mempermudah pemahaman konsep abstrak fisika, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan dapat diakses secara fleksibel melalui platform digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran berbasis Canva layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif untuk materi usaha dan energi.
