Abstract

Abstract: In the current situation, with the threat of Covid-19, it is hoped that educational institutions (university) are required to implement online learning activities. Through the use of the zoom meeting application provided by the university, it is possible to support online learning activities. In essence, this study aims to see to what extent the effectiveness of distance learning using the Zoom Meeting application for students majoring in Social Sciences, FKIP-Unpatti. The method used in this research is qualitative with a grounded theory approach. With data collection techniques used through interviews and WhatsApp for 40 students majoring in Social Sciences FKIP-Unpatti. Based on the research results obtained, distance learning using zoom meetings is certainly not effective during the lecture process. However, considering the current situation with the outbreak of Covid-19, the use of the zoom meeting application is very relevant in supporting the learning process.

Abstract

The teaching and learning model is the basis for implementing learning and is designed based on the result of analyzing curriculum implementation in the classroom. The conceptual reference that outlines the systematic stages for organizing learning experiences to lead to learning objectives. Understanding history is a combination of learning and teaching. Because the effort to study past events certainly has a correlation with current life. Therefore, it is expected that the use of learning history, including the use of local historical sites, can encourage students’ learning interest which can prove by increasing motivation and learning achievement. Based on the result of research conducted, it can be described as follows: 1. Developing a history learning model based on the use of local historical sites can improve the quality of learning. 2. Local historical sites can be developed as effective learning resources .

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the collection of historical relics at the Ternate Sultanate Museum/Palace, and their use as a historical learning medium. While the problems studied in the research are: (1) what are the collections of historical relics in the museum / Sultanate of Ternate Palace? (2) how to use it as a historical learning media?. The research method used is library research, where the required materials/data are obtained from the library, both books, documents, journals, encyclopedias, articles and others. Based on the results of the research, the museum/Palace of the Sultanate of Ternate collects various historical relics, and can be used as a medium for learning history on the history of the entry of Islam, and the arrival of Europeans in the Archipelago.

Abstract

It is expected that teachers can manage the use of learning media to support the learning process following the goal of education. The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of using maps as a learning media to solve the teachers’ difficulties in presenting the topics/materials in history subject. This research was conducted at SMA PGRI 2 Seram-Kairatu. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The description in this study was focused on describing the learning plan, media types, media selection, and the application of maps as learning media. The data obtained in this study included the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results, firstly, the teacher prepared a Lesson Plan (RPP) and Syllabus. Secondly, the teacher used maps as a medium of learning, especially in history subjects. Thirdly, the use of maps as learning media was following the topics/materials being taught. Thus, the conclusion of this study was that using maps as a learning media provided convenience for history teachers in explaining the material to students. In addition, the use of maps as learning media was adjusted to the material taught by the teacher.
