Abstract

Abstrak. Pada kurikulum 13 khusus untuk siswa SMA kelas X salah satu materi yang diajarkan adalah menulis karangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan modul yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan berbasis strategi Think-Talk-Write(TTW) dan perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran menulis karangan menggunakan modul menulis karangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan RD.Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa membutuhkan bahan ajar khusus dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan. Oleh karena itu, strategi TTW dipilih sebagai strategi yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar.Hasil uji keefektifan dihasilkan skor t sebesar 28,273 dan 27,288. Hal tersebut membuktikan adanya keefektifan dalam penggunaan modul berbasis strategi TTW.Kata Kunci: Modul, Strategi TTW, Modul MenulisAbstract. The curriculum 13 for high school students in class X of the material taught is writing essays. The study aims to determine the development of moduls that can be used in writing essay learning based on think-talk-write strategies and the differences in the effectiveness of learning writing essays using the module. The research use the RD approach. Based on the results of the analysis of the needs students and teachers it can be concluded the students need special teaching materials in learning to write essays. Therefore the TTW strategy was chosen as a strategy used to develop teaching materials. The result of the effectiveness test a t score of 28, 273 and 27, 288. This proves the existence of effectiveness in using TTW astrategy based moduls.Keywords: Modul, TTW, Writing

Abstract

The purpose of this study, namely to test the effectiveness of the m-learning instructional media conducted on students of SMP N 1 Banjarharjo Brebes. Type of research, namely quasi experimental research using grade 7. The study uses an assessment instrument of the written description. The results of the study show the score t count 7,330 and t table price 2,042 for 5%. Learning by applying m-learning has prove to be effective. There is an increase in the results of writing descriptive text for students of SMP N 1 Banjarharjo Brebes in learning to write description text. Keywords: m-Learning, Write, Description

Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity of learning media to write short stories. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the learning media developed are feasible and effective for use in the learning process. The feasibility is seen from the assessment of material, media, and media users' responses with a mean score of 81.25% and in the "good" category so that the higher the average score obtained, the better the validity of the product. In conclusion, learning media that are made specifically for writing short story materials based on cultural web are categorized as good and can be used thoroughly during short story writing learning.
