Abstract

The Government started a million solar rooftop movement to help accelerate Indonesia'srenewable energy target in 2025. In effect of ministerial regulation 49/2018, householdcustomers are able to install grid tie photovoltaic and export excess energy to PLN. Inverter is acomplex and a vital component to the performance of grid tie photovoltaic systems, thereforeinverter used must follow applicable standard. This article reviews the avaibility of inverters forsolar rooftop in Indonesia. The purpose of this article is to know the avaibility of inverter andhow they are seen from applicable standard. From this research produced inverter databaseconsisted of 513 inverter models. Inverter database then analyzed seen from its manufacturingstatus, inverter power output capacity, THD output, efficiency, and price. This information iscrucial in choosing quality inverter so rooftop photovoltaic would work effectively andsustainably. Presently various inverters with capacity 0,5 kW - 10 kW already available which issuitable for solar rooftop application. There are already plenty inverters with THD output <3%that conform with Indonesia’s standard but many also still have not listed their THD output.Inverter efficiency is already >95% and available with an average price of Rp3,435,380/kW. Listof inverter models that conform standard and certification presented in a table which served asoutput of this research.

Abstract

The PLTS Off-Grid design at the Adidaya Workshop as an additional power supplier is based on the load needs used for the equipment and operational on the workshop. PLTS Off-Grid features are economically likely to take a long time to make a profit. This study deals with the economic analysis of the PLTS Off-Grid system design using the Net Present Value (NPV) analysis method and aims to find out the comparison projections between output and output of the Off-Grid PLTS project at the Adidaya Workshop during the estimated life of PLTS will operate over 20 years. After the calculation, it was obtained that 1th Scenario using a variation of the solar panel capacity of 300 Wp with a battery of 540 Ah produced the largest RAB demand value worth Rp. by 286.038.441 While the smallest RAB requirement value is generated from 4th Scenario using a variation in solar panel capacity of 300 Wp with a 540 Ah battery worth Rp 252.093.730. The largest and the smallest NPV values are also generated by 1th and 4th Scenario with the NPV value of -Rp 316.734.509 and –Rp 251.285.665.
