Abstract

In order to fulfill the need of society energy, especially in the rural area, the building of an energy storage in every village is compulsory. The energy storage should be built by utilizing the local energy potency source, be processed and utilize as the energy reservoir, resulting the self-sufficiently energy. This Community Service was done in Pungutan, Telun Wayah village, Sidemen Karangasem regency. The farmers group was given the illumination how to use and utilize the cattle-drops to be biogas. They were very interested in attending this activity and they hope it can be continued.

Abstract

design of electricity power installation, there are some items that have to be focused, one of them is thesecurity system design. In security system, accurate calculation is highly required to avoid dangers caused bythe usage of electricity power. One public facility that will be built in Pekutatan village is Wantilan. InWantilan, all villagers’ activities can be done. To support these activities, electricity installation must beinstalled. In order to correctly use the electricity, a design of security system is required to prevent dangerscaused by electricity failures. In designing electricity installation for Wantilan, it must refer to the PUIL2011. To answer the above issue, a public service to the villagers of Pekutatan village has been done. Thepublic service is composed by security system design, electricity power installation, security panelinstallation, and providing a tutorial about the danger of electricity and how to correctly use electricityenergy.

Abstract

Keberlanjutan pembangunan Pura Penataran di areal Pura Muncaksari yang berlokasi di Desa Sangketan, Kecamatan Penebel - Tabanan memerlukan perencanaan teknis penataan lingkungan pura secara detail yang meliputi tata letak yang jelas, gambar detail dan rencana anggaran biaya yang dibutuhkan. Untuk kegiatan ini masyarakat membutuhkan bantuan tenaga ahli yang sesuai dari Fakultas Teknik Universitas Udayana. Dalam proses perencanaan dan perancangan pura digunakan dua buah pendekatan yaitu 1) pendekatan Ergonomi yang difokuskan pada pendekatan SHIP (Sistemik, Holistik, Interdisipliner, dan Partisipatori dengan menitikberatkan pada Pemberdayaan Masyarakat yang dikaji berdasarkan teknologi tepat guna) dan 2) pendekatan kearifan lokal. Pendekatah SHIP dan teknologi tepat guna diaplikasikan dalam pemilihan sistem struktur dan bahan, sedangkan pendekatan kearifan lokal diaplikasikan dalam pemilihan tata letak dan bentuk. Perencanaan ini menghasilkan gambar denah lingkungan pura Penataran secara keseluruhan dan lingkungan pura Alas Madya yang menunjukkan tata letak pelinggih beserta bangunan pendukung lainnya, gambar detail bangunan dan rencana anggaran biayanya. Kata kunci : ergonomi, kearifan lokal, perencanaan teknis

Abstract

Beji Temple in Les Village owned by the residents of the Les Village. It is bounded by the east and south by page of Desa Temple / Bale Agung, the west by a vacant lot owned by the village, and the north by Place Baths (Shower). Beji Temple in Les Village has undergone a total refurbishment. With the restoration of the temple in the rebuilding of Beji expanded westward with consideration extant village lands and population growth. Currently Beji Temple has been completely rebuilt and inaugurated by the Village People. In the development process has been carried out the design and implementation of lighting systems. Design lighting system has been designed and a new implementation at the stage of planting cabling that will be used in lighting systems. The design and implementation of the illumination system is designed to provide safety and comfort to the citizens who wishes to engage in worship at night. Besides, it also sheds light on the baths (shower) and contain aesthetic value. Beji Temple lighting system is expected to citizens of Les Village imitate and implement in other temples.

Abstract

Muncak Sari Luhur Temple is one of several temples located in West part of Batu Karu Sad Kahyangan Temple. The temple is within Sangketan village, district of Penebel, Tabanan region. Recently, it has been carried out a renovation and an extension of the temple, that cover the west part of “mandala” and around the Dalem Kahyangan temple. The building extention at west part of “mandala” was as large as 122.5 m2, with a length of 17.5m and a width of 7m. The designed concrete building is supported by 14 pillars. In addition to the building extention, an installation of lighting at west part of parking area was also carried out. The renovation and extension of the temple have incresed the comfortability of the people during the last temple ceremony.

Abstract

Instalasi Listrik merupakan salah untuk menyalurkan tenaga listrik dari pusat pembangkit ke pusat beban. Kebakaran gedung diakibatkan oleh listrik sering terjadi. Kebakaran tersebut diakibatkan beberapa hal seperti : instalasi yang tidak sesuai standar PUIL, penggunaan kotak kontak menumpuk, pemeliharaan instalasi kurang teratur, umur instalasi melebihi standar. Permasalahan tersebut penting diatasi dengan melakukan sosialisasi keamanan instalasi listrik bagi masyarakat untuk menghindari terjadinya bahaya kebakaran pada gedung. Pemahaman tentang hemat energi juga penting bagi masyarakat agar masyarakat dapat menghemat biaya listrik. Sasaran dari pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat yang sehari-hari mengoperasikan peralatan listrik di Banjar Tingkih Kerep, Kecamatan Penebel Kabupaten Tabanan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari kegiatan persiapan hingga pelaksanaan yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus sampai bulan Nopember 2017, sosialisasi bertempat di Balai Banjar Tingkih Kerep dengan metode ceramah dengan alat peraga instalasi listrik berdasarkan PUIL 2011[1]. dan sosialisasi hemat energi serta diskusi. Dilanjutkan dengan pemasangan stiker bahaya listrik dan stiker hemat energi ke rumah-rumah penduduk. Hari berikutnya dilanjutkan dengan pemasangan lampu penerangan luar dengan kabel tanam sebagai contoh instalasi listrik yang benar. Terakhir dilakukan evaluasi hasil kegiatan sosialisasi yang telah dilakukan kepada masyarakat dan masyarakat menyatakan memahami pemakaian listrik yang benar.

Abstract

Kerobokan feeder supply electrical energy in the area of Kerobokan. This feeder supplies 67 distribution transformers that serve a variety of customers with nonlinier electrical loads. Nonlinier electrical loads cause harmonics which adversely affect customers and power system equipment, especially distribution transformers. In Kerobokan feeder, only 3 (4.5%) of the 67 transformers has THDi content that according with the IEEE 519-2014 standard and 64 (95.5%) of the 67 transformers has a high THDi content and exceed the IEEE 519-2014 standard. For this reason, the power losses, efficiency, and work capacity of the transformer are analyzed due to the effect of THDi. This study uses a direct measurement method in all transformers in the Kerobokan feeder and simulation on the ETAP Powerstation program. The results of the analysis showed that total power losses without being affected by THDi for all transformers were 49.4 kW and after being affected by THDi were 591.71 kW. The highest THDi content is in the KA 0992 transformer is 24.8% which results in an increased in power losses is 12.02 kW or 12.02% of its capacity and a decreased in efficiency is 12.66% and has a decreased in work capacity is 19.9%. While the smallest THDi content is found in the DB 449 transformer is 6.8% which results in an increased in power losses is 2.2 kW or 0.88% of its capacity and a decreased efficiency is 1.01% and has a decreased in work capacity is 2.7%.

Abstract

Solar light is an environmentally friendly renewable energy. According to RUEN, BaliProvince has a fairly large potential for solar light utilization, namely 1,254 MW with a target forPLTS development in 2025 of 8.62% or 108.2 MW of its total potential. Therefore, this researchfocuses on the utilization of PLTS Rooftop on-grid as an energy supply at Kori NuansaJimbaran's residence which explains the specifications of the installed PLTS materials andcomponents, as well as the design of the PLTSinstallation in Rooftop terms of technical termsaccording to the requirements of PT. PLN (Persero). The method used is literature review,observation, data collection, data analysis and conclusions. The results showed that the totaldaily load calculation was 26,151 W/day and the total daily energy that could be generated fromthe calculation was 14.58 kWh/day with the measurement results at the research location of13.4 kWh/day where there was a difference of 1.18 kWh caused by due to losses in the system.When viewed from the total daily load the PLTS system has not met the needs, but functionallythe PLTS system is intended for daytime loads so that the needs are appropriate. Optimalinclination angle of 14.66calculation results areº however on measurementsusing a protractortool obtained18º this because the angle of inclination of the solar panels follows the direction ofthe slope of the roof. The installed PLTS design has met the standards of the Minister of Energyand Mineral Resources No. 49 of 2018 and has received an Operational Worthiness Certificate(SLO) from PT. PLN (Persero).

Abstract

Energy demand in Indonesia is increasing, especially in the realization of electricityconsumption which reached 20.18 TWh in July 2020. In fulfilling energy, Indonesia is stillsupported by fossil energy. Indonesia's fossil energy reserves continue to decline, so it isnecessary to increase the non-fossil energy, one of which is wind energy. Wind exhaust fanoutput is waste energy that has the potential to be developed as a micro-scale wind powerplant. The Design and Construction of the Exhaust Fan Wind Energy Harvesting System withthe Effect of the Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine Distance (HAWT) of the Exhaust Fan Blade hasbeen done, the test of this study determine the optimal output power of the generator byconsidering the exhaust fan performance. The test results show that the closest distance of 10cm produces maximum wind speed and power, but the optimal placement distance for theturbine designed is 20 cm with an output power of 1.50 Watt and an increase in exhaust fanconsumption power of 0.38, with the power that can be harvested is 1.50-0.38 = 1.12 Watt,greater than the other test distances.

Abstract

The power plant with renewable energy sources is needed to reduce the pollution. One of this kind is in Bali, that is PLTSa (Garbage Power Plant) Suwung. However, PLTSa Suwung is no longer operating for now. PLTSa Suwung is connected with Serangan feeder, this connection named Distributed Generation. When PLTSa Suwung doesn’t operate, it will affect the Serangan feeder’s voltage profile. The change of voltage profile will be analyzed with EDSA Technical 2000 Service Pack 3.5 software. The research will give five scenarios with different electrical power supply from each scenario. The gap of the voltage profile between scenario 1 (100% power supply from PLTSa) and scenario 5 (0% power suplly from PLTSa) is 0,0079% for medium voltage bus and 0,0062% for low voltage bus. This small gap shows that the connected PLTSa Suwung doesn’t give effect to voltage profile of Serangan feeder.
