Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis pupuk bokashi eceng gondok yang ditambahkan dengan pupuk kandang terhadap laju pertumbuhan bibit kopi robusta.. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan yaitu : g0 = kontrol (tanpa pemberian bokashi eceng gondok), g1 = 0,6 kg bokashi eceng gondok + 1 kg tanah, g2 = 0,8 kg bokashi eceng gondok + 1 kg tanah, g3 = 1 kg bokashi eceng gondok+ 1 kg tanah, g4 = 1,2 kg bokashi eceng gondok + 1 kg tanah, g5 = 1,4 kg bokashi eceng gondok + 1 kg tanah. Setiap perlakuan di ulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 18 unit percobaan dan setiap unit terdiri dari 5 bibit kopi, populasi seluruhnya adalah 90 bibit kopi dan semuanya dijadikan sebagai tanaman sampel. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa dosis 1,4 kg/polybag merupakan dosis yang terbaik yang mempunyai pertumbuhan rata-rata tinggi tanaman 26,50 cm, lebar daun 5,23 cm, jumlah daun 11,47 helai, diameter batang 4,30 mm dan volume akar 6,73 ml. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kombinasi kompos eceng gondok dengan pupuk kandang ayam sangat baik digunakan untuk pertumbuhan bibit tanaman kopi robusta. Kata kunci : Kopi robusta, bokashi, ecenggondok, pupukkandang dan pertumbuhan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine to determine the effect of land spinach plant growth due to the provision of liquid organic fertilizer palm sugar and to determine the right concentration of palm sugar palm POC to the growth of land spinach plants. This experiment used a single factor randomized block design consisting of 4 replications of 4 treatments. The best experimental results on plant height and number of leaves, leaf length and leaf width aged 14 and 24 HST were influenced by the use of palm juice 40 ml / L water with a height of 19.59 cm and 32.13 cm number of leaves 6.34 and 12.25 strands, leaf length 13.71 and 15.75 while leaf widths are 1.74 and 3.48 cm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cow manure compost on the growth and yield of curly chili plants (Capsicum annum L). This research was conducted using Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 6 treatments and 3 replications so that there were 18 polybags. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of planting media and onion extract concentration on the growth of guava image cuttings using a factorial RAK consisting of 12 treatment combinations, namely: T0B1 = Soil with 17% extract, T0B2 = Soil with 33% extract, T0B3 = Soil with 50% extract, T1B1 = 3 kg Mixed soil 1 kg sand with 17% extract, T1B2 = 3kg Soil mixed 1 kg sand with 33% extract, T1B3 = 3 kg Soil mixed 1 kg sand with 50% extract, T3B1 = 3 kg Soil mixed with fertilizer 1 kg with 17% extract, T3B2 = 3 kg Soil mixed with fertilizer 1 kg with extract 33%, T3B3 = 3 kg Soil mixed with fertilizer 1 kg with extract 50%. Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 36 polybags. The results of this study showed that in observing the number of shoots the best-growing media treatment was T0 at the age of 6 WAP (4.33) and 7 WAP (4.56), the best concentration of onion extract was treatment B1 at 6 WAP (3,50) and 7 WAP (4,67), observing the number of roots with the best treatment B1 at the age of 8 WAP (3.00), observing the number of roots with the best B1 at the age of 8 DAP (3,96). There was no interaction between the growing media and onion extract.

Abstract

Secara nasional tanaman kakao berproduksi masih dibawah potensi genetiknya, banyak faktor yang menyebabkan tanaman kakao belum mampu mengekspresikan kemampuan genetiknya dalam berproduksi, salahsatunya adalah faktor eksternal berupa media tumbuh pada pembibitan. Kondisi bibit akan menentukan kemampuan produksi kakao di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi media tumbuh tanaman kakao. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Tuweley kabupaten Tolitoli pada tahun 2021, menggunakan rancangan lapangan acak kelompok, 6 perlakuan, 3 ulangan, masing masing ulangan terdiri dari 5 bibit yang dirawat polybag berkapasitas 3 kg tanah kering udara, perawaatan tanaman selama 90 hari setelah tanam (HST) komposisi media adalah tanah, pupuk kandang ayam, dan serbuk gergaji dengan perbandingan volume/volume antara lain: media tanah (wo); perbandingan tanah; Pupuk kandang:Serbug gergaji 1:1:1 (w1), 1:2:1 (w2). 1:3:1 (w3), 1:1:2 (w4), 1:2:2 (w5). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi media tumbuh 1:1:2 (w4), merupakan komposisi terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat basah dan kering tunas, berat basah dan kering akar serta luas daun.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is the largest contributor of organic waste that can be recycled as useful things, among others, used as organic fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of agricultural waste organic compost on the growth of Cocoa (Theobroma Cacao L.) plants. The analysis results of the materials to be applied are N-total: 0.27% P2O5: 3.20%, K2O: 1.63%, and C-Organic: 17.40%, then the research data were analyzed using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) which consists of 6 levels of treatment, namely: C0 = no fertilizer, C1 = soil + 20 g compost polybag-1, C2 = soil + compost 40 g. polybag-1, C3 = soil + compost 60 g. polybag-1, C4 = soil + compost 80 g. polybag-1, C5 = Soil + compost 100 g. polybag-1. Each experiment was repeated three times, so there were 90 experimental units. Observation parameters were plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter. The results showed that, giving 100 g of organic waste compost polybag-1 gave better results on the growth of cacao seedlings, with a plant height of 29.61 cm, number of leaves 11.73 strands, and stem diameter of 3.38 mm. From this research, it can be concluded that it will produce better results if organic waste is managed properly.

Abstract

Guano can be used as an organic fertilizer in anticipating fertilizer shortages. This study aims to obtain the right dose of guano for the growth and yield of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L). The method used in this study was a single-factor randomized block design, consisting of 4 treatments of doses of guano fertilizer and 4 replications. Fertilizer dosage treatments were: g0 = no guano, g1 = 3 tons guano/ha, g2 = 5 tons guano/ha, g3 = 7 tons guano/ha. Observation parameters consisted of plant height (cm), the number of leaves (strand), the diameter of the stem (cm), the diameter of the ear (cm), the length of the ear (cm), and the weight of fruit/bed (kg). The results showed that the use of guano at a dose of 7 tons/ha was the best dose for plant height, the number of leaves, ear diameter, stem diameter, and cob weight. It was concluded that guano could increase the growth and yield of sweet corn. Keywords: corn, guano, organic fertilizer

Abstract

The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between nitrate reductase activity and N uptake, tissue N content, N uptake, and chlorophyll content of corn plants in intercropping patterns which are given corn-soybean litter and biochar. The use of plant litter and biochar derived from crop residues as a source of organic matter in different intercropping patterns affected nitrate reductase activity, tissue N content, N uptake, and chlorophyll content of maize. This experiment was carried out on sub-optimal Sidondo land, Central Sulawesi with the main limiting factors being the availability of water and alkaline soil pH (7.21) which were arranged in a divided plot design with five litter treatments as subplots and five cropping patterns as the main plot with three replicates. Parameters observed were N levels, plant tissue N uptake, chlorophyll, and nitrate reductase activity. Collected data were analyzed using Anova and Duncan's multiple random tests. The results showed that corn litter, soybean mixed corn + soybean litter and their biochar in different intercropping patterns affected nitrate reductase activity, nitrogen uptake, chlorophyll levels very significantly (P˂0.01), increased nitrate reductase activity by 9710.86 mol NO2- -1g-1hour-1 at the age of 55 DAP, while N uptake (2237 mg.kg-1), tissue N content (4.33%), and total chlorophyll content (10.61 mg.l-1) were the highest in the litter treatment, corn and soybeans as well as biochar in corn and soybean intercropping (1:2), and (2:4). Thus, the provision of corn and soybean litter and biochar in intercropping systems can increase nitrate reductase activity, N uptake, tissue N levels, and corn chlorophyll levels in the corn-soybean intercropping system. Abstract

Pupuk merupakan salah satu faktor penentu dalam usaha tani tanaman cabe, sehingga harus  tetap tersedia, akan tetapi akibat dari vandemi covid- 19 ketersediaan pupuk menjadi sangat terbatas bahkan susah mendapatkannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan cabang produktif tanaman cabai (Capsicum annum L.) Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktor tunggal  terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, yaitu P0= Tanpa perlakuan, P1= Kompos Pupuk kandang sapi  1 kg + Tanah 4 kg, P2= Kompos Pupuk kandang sapi  2 kg + Tanah 3 kg P3 = Kompos Pupuk kandang sapi  3 kg + Tanah 2 kg P 4 = Kompos Pupuk kandang sapi  4 kg + Tanah 1 kg.     Hasil penelitian terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 8 MST adalah perlakuan P3 (89,68 cm) disusul perlakuan P1,P2 dan P4 sedangkan tinggi tanaman umur 10 MST, tanaman tertinggi pada perlakuan P1 (100,1 cm) dan jumlah cabang produktif terbanyak umur 8 MST terdapat pada perlakuan P3 demikian pula pada umur 10 MST dengan jumlah cabang 22,8 cabang produktif. Pupuk kandang sapi dapat menjadi pupuk alternatif yang baik untuk pertumbuhan tanaman cabe dimasa pandemi covid-19.
