Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and design the needs of information system in the plantation industry, especially for palm plantation to perform planning, execution and reporting of daily work activities. The methodology used in this research is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), by applying Waterfall model that consist of stages such as: Analysis; Design; Implementation; Testing; and Maintenance. The result of this research is a design of information system that can be used in palm plantation company to help to manage data and reporting for their activities such as spraying, clearing, fertilizing and harvesting of palm. It is expected that the results of this design can be implemented directly in the real situation so that it can be known of the effectiveness and efficiency of the system.

Abstract

In this modern days, humans really need technology in their daily life, like PT.ISUZU. where this business need one thing that can help the workers in remembering to control the items. One thing that can help the workers are device that can give reminder to them about things that need to be controlled. In this case, the system is counted to help the workers in controlling the items well. The method that are used in this research is SDLC method (System Development Life Cycle) which was started from needs analysis, design system, coding and testing. The purpose of this research is to help the workers in controlling the items well through application system that will be built. As a result, the Android-based information system reminder control can help the workers in remembering to control items through notifications that were given by the device to the workers.

Abstract

The election process becomes very important in determining the desired outcome for the voters. The election process is often hampered by a variety of issues, such as the process of gathering and recounting the result sometimes takes time. For that we need a system that can facilitate the selection process so that it can provide quick and accurate results. The purpose of this study is to build a system that can provide convenience for students of the Faculty of Information Technology UNAI in running the democratic process to select the Chairman of the Student Association. The system is designed web-based so it will be easier in the process of taking voting, vote counting and announcement of the selected winners. The method used in building this system is using SDLC method with Waterfall model which consists of stages of Analysis, Design, Implementation and Maintenance. The results of the design of this system can be used in selecting the pair chairman and vice chairman of Student Association Faculty of Information Technology UNAI. The election process can run more orderly, regularly and faster especially in vote counting and winner announcement because it is done through the system. It is expected that in the future this system can be developed and applied to other election process and can be made on other platforms.

Abstract

The evolution of information technology greatly affects various types of jobs in this world. Business competition encourages companies to use technology for support business processes. One of the fundamental reasons for this research’s PT. United Trans Perkasa doesn’t yet have a computerized system in the company’s business processes, especially in terms of managing data orders. The purpose of this study are: (1) Makes it easier for companies to find the order data that has been recorded, (2) Makes it easier for workers to know the arrival of orders from each customer, and (3) Makes it easier for workers to send data that needs to be reported to the leadership of the company. The design of this system uses the Waterfall Method, which approaches the design process systematically, which starts at the level of system analysis, design, code, and testing. The conclusions of this study are: (1) Information system for recording the order form at PT. United Trans Perkasa is a system created to simplify work and also improve services in serving customers, (2) Information system for recording order forms at PT. United Trans Perkasa can present important data in a computerized company and also based online, so that the data can be accessed by office workers anywhere and anytime. (3) Information system for recording the order form at PT. United Trans Perkasa can also facilitate the company in checking customers who want to use company services, because this system is connected to the company's website.
