Abstract

Title: Postcolonial Study towards Jember Alun-alun Area: Efforts to Explore the Potential of Creative City The Alun-alun is an important area in the city in Java, which has existed since pre-colonial era (can be traced back to the Majapahit era), which was later adapted creatively by the Dutch in colonial era to the post-independence of Indonesia. Studies on the Alun-alun is mostly done historically, symbolic or functional, whereas this study viewed from the perspective of postcolonial, that reverse point of view: from the square is considered passive and influenced, being square is active and can be aligned with the global trend. The research method is qualitative research, with a view creativity of Jember society in the process of changes. This study combines direct observation, observe documents and interview. Alun-alun became a media of "control" by the Dutch (towards Indonesian/Jember society) to the New Order era (towards the people of Indonesia/Jember), society is assumed to be liyan (others). Then look for new forms to imitate and reverse of what has been done by the "authorities" so that an alun-alun will be hybrid, diaspora and transculturation also occur. Jember alun-alun area from postcolonial view has a dynamic and adaptive character. Community and Jember alun-alun are not a passive entity that is marginalized and only accept influence from the outside, but they are the subject of the creative changes, to be aligned with a more advanced entity.

Abstract

The Gebang Putih area is a fairly densely populated settlement because each residence does not have an open yard. The activities of the youth or local residents are limited to gathering at locations outside the RW 003 environment. The results of observations and interviews with community leaders in RT. 02, it was found that residents of RW 003 needed a place for sports activities, gatherings, and discussions for residents of RW 003. The purpose of this community service was so that residents had a new activity center that was able to accommodate gathering, exercise, and socializing activities. This community service is expected to enable residents to carry out activities in a sustainable manner around their homes, thereby creating a friendly atmosphere and increasing a sense of brotherhood and harmony among residents. Community service activities carried out were utilizing the sewer side as a place for sports activities, and discussions for residents of RW 003. The method used was an observation, and interviews with the chairman of RW 003 and also residents of 003 Asem Umbrella. As a result of this community service, Asem Payung RW 003 village has infrastructure for joint activities between residents, such as ping pong, table tennis, or a gathering area.

Abstract

Dalam upaya pembinaan anak-anak PAUD peran pendidik atau guru sangat penting, sehingga diperlukan kompetensi dasar guru yang baik, salah satunya kompetensi pedagogik dimana kompetensi tersebut unsur guru mampu memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara bersama Kepala TK Citra Bangsa, sumber daya guru dan tenaga kependidikan, masih perlu dilatih untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik salah satunya pemahaman dan penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam mendukung kegiatan belajar-mengajar, maupun kegiatan penunjang akademik lainnya.Salah satu teknologi informasi yang diperlukan adalah aplikasi Merdeka Mengajar. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pelatihan mengenai aplikasi tersebut melalui Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di TK Citra Bangsa. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di TK Citra Bangsa dengan peserta 9 orang guru dan 1 tenaga kependidikan. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini,diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa peserta telah dapat mengakses dan mengoperasikan aplikasi Merdeka Mengajar dengan baik, dan diperoleh manfaat guru dapat menerapkan materi ajar dan perangkat yang sesuai dan menarik bagi peserta didik. Dengan demikian terdapat peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru melalui unsur pemanfaat teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pembelajaran semakin berkembang pada sekolah SMK, karena untuk mempersiapkan siswa siswi yang siap pakai di dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu guru pada sekolah SMK St. Louis ingin mengembangkan kompetensi dalam penguasaan program sketchup dalam menghasilkan produk 3D model. Penguasaan kompetensi program sketchup ini dapat diterapkan pada saat pembelajaran siswa-siswi di jurusan DKV. Pengabdian ini dijalankan melalui sebuah pelatihan secara offline yang diikuti oleh guru-guru pengajar SMK St. Louis di Surabaya. Pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi penguasaan para guru SMK St. Louis yaitu menghasilkan 3D model menggunakan blender. Hal itu telah menyebabkan munculnya pemikiran bahwa untuk lebih mempermudah dalam menghasilkan 3D model yaitu menggunakan sketchup. Pemahaman mengenai Arsitektur Nusantara merupakan topik yang dapat dikembangkan oleh guru SMK St. Louis, dalam pengaplikasiannya dalam produk atau karya desain. Oleh karena ide itu maka dalam pelatihan 3D model ditambahkan penjelasan mengenai arsitektur Nusantara. Pelatihan yang diikuti oleh guru SMK St. Louis menyatakan menjadi memiliki pengetahuan atau alternatif materi dalam pembelajaran pada siswa siswi SMK St. Louis, saat menghasilkan 3D model dengan sketchup dan Arsitektur Nusantara.

Abstract

Generating unemployment is something that is not desired by every university. The history of the economy in Indonesia proves that entrepreneurship has a positive impact on the resilience and economic growth of the nation, therefore most universities require their students to take entrepreneurship courses. University academic support in terms of entrepreneurship education is expected to be able to foster students entrepreneurial intentions, so that the target of increasing the number of entrepreneurs can be realized. Entrepreneurial intention is also influenced by individual students attitudes factors. This research was conducted by surveying 155 students at two universities in Surabaya, to answer the purpose of this study we use the analysis of independent sample test and multiple regression. This study found evidence that the type of education (vocational and non-vocational), and the background of parents' work (entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial professions) did not have a significant difference affecting students entrepreneurial intentions. This study also found evidence that factors of students individual attitudes and entrepreneurship education programs had a positive and significant effect on growing students entrepreneurial intentions
