Abstract

This study entitled the quality of subsidized rice distribution service of Bulog Coorporation of South Sumatera Regional Division in the Village of 35 Ilir. Formulation of the problem in this study is how the quality of subsidized rice distribution service Palembang Municipality work unit to the distributor of Sub District of West Ilir II, subsidized rice distribution service of Sub District of West Ilir II to the distributor of 35 Ilir Village, and subsidized rice distribution service of 35 Ilir Village to the rice subsidized beneficiary of RTS-PM. The method use in this study is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Assessment of subsidized rice distribution service quality is determined by five dimensions on three distribution services. The results of the data analysis showed that the quality of subsidized rice distribution services on the three services has met indicators on five dimensions, only in the subsidized rice distribution service there is no means for receiving complaints and suggestions and the lack of access to information that can be reached. There is a delay for subsidized rice distribution services in the Village of 35 Ilir to the RTS-PM beneficiary because it depends on the freight cars and deposited cost. Focus on attention of the equipment improvement and official physic facilities in the service of subsidized rice distribution

Abstract

KUD Bina Sejahtera merupakan koperasi yang bergerak di bidang kelapa sawit dan penyewaan alat berat. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah sistem penyewaan yang masih manual, sehingga proses pengajuan, persetujuan kontrak, serta pemantauan alat menjadi tidak efisien dan memakan waktu. Selain itu, kurangnya sistem informasi menyebabkan kesulitan dalam mengetahui ketersediaan alat, kondisi alat, serta pengelolaan pembayaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan penyewaan melalui penerapan aplikasi berbasis website. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, perancangan sistem, pengembangan aplikasi, pelatihan penggunaan, serta evaluasi implementasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu membantu pengelolaan data penyewaan secara terstruktur, menyediakan informasi ketersediaan alat secara real-time, serta mempermudah proses transaksi dan monitoring alat.Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, proses layanan menjadi lebih cepat, transparan, dan efisien. Selain itu, mitra juga mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung operasional usaha.

Abstract

Background Inventory management is essential for ensuring the availability, traceability, and proper maintenance of organizational assets. However, the XYZ City Fire and Disaster Management Department still manages inventory using Microsoft Excel, resulting in inefficient data processing, limited accessibility, and a high risk of data entry errors. Purpose This study aims to develop a web-based inventory management system integrated with the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm to improve inventory management efficiency and automatically evaluate equipment feasibility. Methodology A web-based inventory application was developed to manage inventory records and classify equipment conditions using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method. System performance was evaluated using classification metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Findings The developed system successfully automated inventory management and equipment feasibility assessment. Experimental results showed that the KNN model achieved 100% accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, demonstrating its effectiveness in classifying equipment as either suitable for continued use or requiring replacement. Implications The proposed system provides a practical solution for improving inventory management by increasing data accuracy, accelerating decision-making, and supporting real-time monitoring of equipment conditions. Although the system performed exceptionally well in this study, further validation using larger and more diverse datasets is recommended to evaluate its scalability and generalizability.. Originality This study integrates a web-based inventory management system with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm to automate equipment feasibility evaluation in a fire and disaster management agency, providing an accurate, efficient, and real-time decision-support tool for inventory management.
