Abstract

Condyloma acuminata is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. Condyloma acuminata has been reported in many patients with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Several studies have reported the factors associated with the incidence of condyloma acuminata in HIV, but it has never been reported the factors affected condyloma acuminata in Lampung Province. This study aimed to determine the relationship between sexual orientation and condyloma acuminata in HIV patients at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province. The design of this study was an observational study with a case control design with a sample of 112 HIV patients. The sample of the study was new patients diagnosed with HIV who were treated at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province in the period 2017 to 2019. Data were obtained from patient medical records. The results showed that 36 (64.3%) HIV/AIDS patients with condyloma acuminata had a homosexual orientation. Data analysis using Chi-square test showed the p value was 0.01. The conclusions of this study indicate that there is an association between sexual orientation and condyloma acuminata in HIV/AIDS patients.

Abstract

Stevens Johnson Syndrome (SJS) merupakan reaksi hipersentivitas berat yang disebabkan oleh infeksi, seperti virus Herpes simplex atau Mycoplasma, vaksinasi, penyakit sistemik, agen-agen tertentu, makanan dan obat-obatan. Insidensi SJS diperkirakan 2-3% per juta populasi per tahun di Amerika Serikat dan di negara-negara Eropa, sedangkan di Indonesia kasus SJS terjadi sekitar 12 kasus per tahun. Patofisiologi dari SJS sendiri masih belum diketahui, namun penyebab utama SJS adalah alergi obat. Paracetamol merupakan salah satu obat yang paling sering digunakan dan relatif aman, namun dapat menyebabkan efek samping berupa reaksi hipersensitivitas kutan. Laporan kasus ini membahas tentang SJS yang timbul pada wanita berusia 24 tahun akibat pemberian paracetamol infus karena demam pasca operasi. Pada pasien timbul vesikel eritematosa, bula eritematosa, plak eritematosa, erosi, krusta, purpura, krusta hemoragik, sedikit tebal, sulit dilepas, batas ireguler, multipel, ukuran 0,5 sampai 1 cm pada regio palpebra, mukosa bibir, regio coli, regio brachii dextra et sinistra, dan regio thorax. Pasien dalam kasus ini diberikan terapi kortikosteroid topikal dan sistemik, silver sulfodiazin pada luka di tubuh serta antibiotik sistemik. Setelah diberikan terapi tersebut, kondisi pasien perlahan membaik. Kata kunci:Paracetamol, reaksi alergi, Steven Johnson Syndrome
