Abstract

The research is about “ad-Dakhîl” in Imam’s Tafsir aš-Ša’labiy (Al-Kasyfu wa Al-Bayân ‘an Tafsîr Al-Qur’ân) beginning of al-Qa?a? until Saba`. The study has two research focuses, namely (1) to know the concept of ad-Dakhil, and (2) to know the cases of ad-Dakhil in Tafsir as-Tsa’labi taken from al-Qashas into Saba`. The Study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The source of the data was verses of Koran taken from al-Qashas into Saba` in al- Kasyf wa al-Bayan ‘An Tafsir al-Qur’a, while the source sekunder’s data taken from references else. Sekunder’s data used helped for to analyze primer data. Data could been library reseach method. The results of the study are presented as follows. First, ad-Dakhil can be defined as a prior interpretation in explaining the meaning of the verses of Koran. Consequently, it will give a false description of Islam. Second, there are 67 cases of ad-Dakhil which can be found in al- Kasyf wa al-Bayan ‘An Tafsir al-Qur’an taken from al-Qashas until Saba`. The big amount of the cases of ad-Dakhil implies that Tafsir Tsa’labi contains many invalid stories (riwayat) which can’t be used to interpret the meaning of the verses of Koran.

Abstract

This article is aimed at knowing the structure of huruf muqatta'ah and its significance toward the unity of surahs in the Qur'an. This study becomes important because hitherto the concept of the unity of the Qur'anic surahs has not made the huruf muqatta'ah as the part of that surah yet. The contribution expected is that the readers can have an integral understanding on the Qur’anic surah without neglecting the huruf muqatta'ah that become the beginning of the surah. Literature review of this study takes the main data from the verses of Surah al-Baqarah which are initiated by the structure of huruf muqatta'ah, alif-lam-mim. The approach used is structural analysis of Levi-Strauss, that is to look for the relations among the elements to find the transformation in the text. This study found the relation of symbolic structure between alif-lam-mim and the grand theme of the surah al-Baqarah. The structure of surah al-Baqarah can be understood as the interactions of the three kinds of people namely the believer (mu'min), hypocrite (munafiq) and infidel (kafir). Alif becomes the symbol of the believer; lam becomes the symbol of hypocrite (munafiq), and mimbecomes the symbol of infidel (kafir). The interaction of the three can be described in imprecise triangle model. It is from this model that the significance of alif-lam-mim to understand the Surah al-Baqarah can be known integrally

Abstract

Isti'arah is a pronunciation that is used inappropriately because of the 'alaqah in the form of imitation and the presence of qarinah that prevents from the original meaning. The principle of using isti'arah in the Qur'an aims to attract the attention of the listeners and readers of the Qur'an so that with the element of eloquence and the beauty of the words and meanings in it can touch the soul. This research focuses on how the isti'arah interpretation model of Ibn Asyur in Surah Yasin in the al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir, as well as how he interprets the verses containing isti'arah in Surah Yasin, as well as the implications of the use of isti’arah on the interpretation of Ibn Asyur . The research method used is qualitative which leads to descriptive analysis, namely classifying verses that contain isti'arah and then explaining and analyzing their implications. The approach used is the balaghah science approach, precisely the science of parrots with data collection techniques through library research. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the interpretation model of Ibn Asyur's isti'arah includes three criteria, namely first, when interpreting the verse in the form of isti’rah, Ibn Asyur raises an explanation that the verse contains isti’?rah, either by using the word isti'arah or another sighat of isti'arah. Second, explain the type of isti'arah contained in the verse. Third, mention the meaning contained in the form of isti'arah in the verse. Then in Surah Yasin there are ten verses that contain isti'arah namely in the verse QS 8, 9, 11, 12, 29, 37, 52, 71, 74 and 78. The use of isti'arah in the Qur'an has implications for showing the superiority of the language of the Qur'an.

Abstract

This service aims to reveal the tree planting movement with the Gugur Gunung system in order to care for the environment and social community in Koripan 1 Dlingo Bantul Yogyakarta. The service providers used participatory methods by emphasizing the full involvement of the community and service providers in the activity program. The service results showed that tree planting was carried out in two places, namely in Sendang Kali Deso by planting fruit trees and at the Situs Petilasan Gunung Pasar by planting ornamental trees. This program was carried out by all elements of the community with three stages of activities, namely formal opening, symbolic handover of tree seedlings by relevant figures and stakeholders, and finally the implementation of planting at the service location. With the implementation of a program based on the Gugur Gunung system, the community and community servants believe that this activity has many functions and benefits for themselves, their social life, and future generations of the community.
