Abstract

This research was conducted at the Santika Premiere Hotel Semarang which aims to analyze and explain the effect of work discipline and communication on housekeeping performance at the Santika Premiere hotel where the communication dimension has the lowest score. This shows that in reality there are still criticisms and suggestions. This condition is always improved even though the communication is quite good, in order to improve house keeping performance in the future. The research data was obtained through questionnaires and interviews. The sample used in the study was 98 respondents. The results of the study are expected to provide useful information for the manager and guest satisfaction. The data obtained is processed using descriptive analysis and quantitative statistical analysis. Quantitative analysis uses multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable, model test, hypothesis test, and yet before the test is done, test the validity and reliability test first. The results of the regression analysis showed that there was an influence of work discipline and communication on housekepping performance at the Santika Premiere hotel. Then the results of the multiple regression analysis test showed a significant F value, with an adjusted R 2 square determination correlation value of 0.486. This shows that the influence of work discipline and significantly influence communication on housekepping performance in Santika Premiere Hotels together with a close relationship of 48.6%.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the many countries with confirmed cases of Covid-19. An increase in Covid-19 cases can have a big impact, one of the impacts is the declining quality of human resources for each individual in a company. To improve the quality of human resources, of course you have to know the management of human resources. Human resource management is the process of managing human beings from planning, recruitment, selection, training, development, compensation, career, safety, health and maintaining industrial relations to termination of employment to achieve from the company and achieve prosperity. The scope of HRM is the objectives of HRM, policy objectives and functions of HRM related to improving the quality of the company's human resources, including: 1. Planning 2. Organizing 3. Implementation 4. Supervision. The functions of human resource management in a company or organization itself include: 1. Job analysis 2. Human resource planning 3. Human resource recruitment 4. Selection 5. Training and development 6. Job evaluation 7. Compensation 8. Career path 9. Safety and health. Factors that influence the quality of human resources in a company are as follows: 1. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Kendal yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kopentensi kerja terhadap kinerja guru yang mengalami penurunan dalam mengajar. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui bagaimana Motivasi dan kedisiplinan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 58 responden. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang berguna bagi pimpinan maupun guru. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik kuantitatif. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independent terhadap variabel dependent, namun sebelum dilakukan uji tersebut dilakukan dahulu uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Regresi menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi , motivasi dan kedisiplinan akan diikuti peningkatan kinerja guru , begitu pula sebaliknya. Hasil uji analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan nilai F yang signifikan, dengan nilai korelasi determinasi adjusted R2 sebesar 0,625. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi , motovasi dan kedisiplinan mempengaruhi secara nyata terhadap kinerja guru secara bersama-sama dengan keeratan hubungan sebesar 62,5%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru perlu adanya peningkatan kompetensi, serta motivasi guru dan kedisipilan guru yang bagus agar kinerja guru meningkat.
