Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2020 diDesa Kuala Lama Kecamatan Pantai Cermin, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja penyebab kemiskinan di Desa Kuala Lama danUntuk mengetahui strategi yang dilakukan rumah tangga nelayan dalam menghadapi kemiskinan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan melakukan observasi langsung ke lapangan,mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dengan kuisioner. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat nelayan miskin dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukanbahwa faktor penyebab kemiskinan nelayan di Desa Kuala Lama disebabkan oleh kualitas sumber daya manusia, yang ditandai dengan rendahnya tingkat pendidikan yang menjadi salah satu indikator dari rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia. Selain itu, faktor-faktor lain penyebab kemiskinan adalah fluktuasi musim ikan, alat tangkap sederhana, serta pendapatan dan pengeluaran rumah tangga nelayan.Strategi menghadapi kemiskinan yang dilakukan rumah tangga nelayan di Desa Kuala Lama meliputi startegi aktif dan strategi jaringan,strategi aktif yaitu diversifikasi pekerjaan, mengoptimalkan tenaga kerja anggota rumah tangga, dan strategi jaringan yaitu melakukan peminjaman.

Abstract

This research was conducted on june 2, 2020 – july 8, 2020 which is located in the Merangin village Kuok sub district Kampar districts Riau province. This study aims to calculate the amount of investment in the cultivation of fish tilapia (oreochromis niloticus) floating net cages in the Merangin village river, to calculate how much revenue and profits in the cultivation business in floating net cages in the merangin village river, and to analyze the feasibility of aquaculture businesses in floating net cages in merangin village. The method used in this research is the case study method with the number of respondents as much as 1 person. Tilapia fish farming business is located in Merangin Village, Kuok Subdistrict, Kampar district, established in 2004 with 11 floating net cages located on the river bank under the first bridge of the Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Power Plant and developing each year, this development can be seen from the total investment spent on the fish farming business. Fish Tilapia in Merangin Village, Kuok Subdistrict, Kampar districts, amounting to Rp. 258.904.000, the components that affect investment are fixed capital and working capital components, namely making floating net cages, water installations, purchasing scales, buckets, buckets, nets, purchasing seeds, purchasing pellet feed, generator set, and drum purchase. Receipt from the fish tilapia farming business is Rp.356.400.000 every year, while the profit earned is Rp. 97.496.000 annually, and the fish tilapia farming business in Merangin Village, Kuok District, Kampar districts is feasible based on a Return Cost Ratio (RCR) of 1.37, Financial Rate of Return (FRR) value of 25.32% and Payback Period of Capital (PPC) 3.9 periods.

Abstract

This research was conducted in March 2020 at Buana Bakti Village, Kerinci kanan Sub-district Siak district. The location of this study was determined deliberately (purposive sampling) with the consideration that Buana Bakti Village has a good enough potential to carry out catfish (Clarias sp) farming activities. The respondents in this study were taken by census. The catfish rearing cultivation business in Buana Bakti Village, Kerinci kanan Sub-district Siak regency has been established since 2017. The total investment is IDR 71.113,000, which consists of a fixed capital of IDR 41.006,000, and working capital of IDR 30.107,000.The total revenue received by the cultivator group in conducting the catfish enlargement business is IDR 42.500,000, and revenue per year of IDR 170.000,000, meanwhileThe income earned by the group per period is IDR 10.379.000, and the income per year is IDR 41.519.000. Based on the calculation of the investment criteria, it was found that the RCR value of the Catfish Cultivator group in Buana Bakti Village was 1,32. Meanwhile, the ROI value for the cultivator group was 14,16%. PPC value for catfish rearing business is 1,64 period.

Abstract

This research was conducted in June 2020 in Hangtuah village, Perhentian Raja Sub District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province.This study aims to calculate the income earned and to analyze the strategy in developing a business of processed catfish (Clarias sp) products in Hangtuah village. The method used is a survey method by conducting direct observations in the field by collecting data through interviews based on questionnaires, the population in this study are housewives who are members of the catfish processing business group in Hangtuah village, namely the Mina Sejahtera group, which amounts to 10 members. The results showed that the income per month of catfish processing business carried out by the Mina Sejahtera group was IDR 424,510. SWOT analysis resulted in 12 alternative strategies that can be used by catfish processing products. The results of the calculation of the score of each strategy can be ranked as seen from the number of interests generated. Rank 1 (one) to 3 (three) is a strategy that is prioritized for use in the development of marketing of processed catfish products. The three strategies are: (WO1) Promoting processed catfish products with brochures / printed media and online social media so as to attract potential consumers; (SO1) Can develop new product innovations by paying more attention to the quality of processed catfish products so that they can be sold in the market; (ST1) Maintaining the quality and characteristics of processed catfish products.

Abstract

This study aims to identify structural and non-structural mitigation in Sungai Kayu Ara Village. This research was conducted in March 2021 in Sungai Kayu Ara Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the mitigation policies of fishermen households in Sungai Kayu Ara Village due to social engineering of the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this study using the Survey Method. The population in this study were fishing households totaling 48 households. The technique of determining respondents is by means of a census, which is taking the entire population as respondents. Data collection is done by means of observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, literature study, and searching data and information online. Analysis of the data used are: qualitative descriptive analysis. Structural and non-structural Covid-19 mitigation in Sungai Kayu Ara Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency focuses more on implementing government policies stipulated through the Regent's Regulation on Handling Infectious Diseases and the Regent's Regulation on the Implementation of Administrative Sanctions for Enforcement. health protocols in handling infectious diseases. Structural and non-structural mitigation of Covid-19 carried out by fishing households in the research location is the 3M health protocol policy, namely wearing masks, maintaining distance and avoiding crowds, and washing hands with soap.
