Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of dosage of cow manure fertilizer on Setaria production in sandy soil, to know the effect of cutting age on Setaria production in sandy soil and to know interaction of dosage of cow manure fertilizer and cutting age on Setaria production on sandy soil. This research was field experiment using Randomized Block Design with three replications. The treatment design was arranged factorial by two factors, the dose of organic fertilizer of cow manure (P) of three levels of p1 = 10 tons ha-1, p2 = 20 tons ha-1 and p3 = 30 tons ha-1. The second factor is cutting age (U) of three levels, u1 = 30 day cutting age, u2 = 45 days cutting age and u3 = 60 days cutting age. The combination of the two factors resulted in 9 treatment combinations with three replicates as a group to obtain 27 experimental units. The results of this study was the application of cow manure fertilizer independently effect on Setaria production. The cutting age treatment independently affected the plant height, number of tillers and Setaria production. There was no interaction between the application of cow manure fertilizer and cutting age to plant height, number of tillers and Setaria grass production.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to know the effect of three kind manures (cow, chicken, and goat) and to know the kind of manure that giving the best result to the growth and production of Brachiaria humidicola. This research was conducted in the experiment station farm of Animal Science Faculty, Palangka Raya Christian University. This research was designed by using completely random design (CRD) with single experiment factor. The result showed that the applications of three kind manure giving the effect to the number of tillers, the crop height, and the production of Brachiaria humidicola. Chicken manure was gived the best result of the tiller number and the production of Brachiaria humidicola

Abstract

Abstract

This research aim to know the level of organic and anorganic giving best result to growth vegetatif rumput gajah (Pennisetum purpureum).  This research was design by using Completely Randomized Design with the single treatment various level organic and an organic manure (P), that is p0 = control (without organic and an organic manure), p1 = 100% urea + 0% organic manure., p2 = 75 % urea + 25 % organic manure., p3 = 50 % urea + 50 % organic manure., p4 = 25 % urea + 75 % organic manure and p5 = 0 % urea + 100 % organic manure, each treatament repeated 5 times so that there are 24 experemintal units.  The result of this research is level organic and an organic give the influence to hihg crop 6mst and 8 mst, amount of leaf 6 mst rumput gajah (Pennisetum purpureum). The component og growth show the same tendency, where the effect of organic manure given better result, coumtary with the anorganic manure

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mixture of feed media on the production Tenebrio larva and to determine the mix of feed media that can give the best results to the production of Tenebrio larva. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Palangka Raya Christian University. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with treatment A (50% tofu pulp, 30% cassava flour and 20% rice bran) treatment B (40% tofu pulp, 40% cassava flour and 20% rice bran) treatment C (tofu 30%, cassava flour 50% and rice bran 20%) each treatment was repeated 6 times so that there were 18 experimental units. Parameters observed were body length, body weight and mortality. The results showed that the feeding media mixture had no effect on the production of Hong Kong caterpillar (Tenebrio molitor). Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of various EM4 (effective microorganism) mixtures, sugarcane juices and corn flour on the physical quality of silage of Kumpai Grass (Hymenachine amplexicaulis).  To get the right level of additive mixture to produce good  dilation This research was conducted using a randomized complete design with treatment A (EM3 3%, Sugarcane water 1%, Corn flour 2%), B (EM3 3%, Sugarcane water 2%, Corn flour 3%),  A (EM3 3%, Sugarcane water 3%, Corn flour 6%),   A (EM3 3%, Sugarcane water 4%, Corn flour 8%). The observed variables were physical silage in the form of odor, texture and color.  The result showed that the addition of EM4 (effective microorganism) additives, sugarcane juices and corn flour had no effect on organoleptic testing of silage Kumpai Grass (Hymenachine amplexicaulis).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of fermented kelakai and rice bran to commercial feed on carcass and giblet weight of broiler chickens and to determine the level of addition of fermented kelakai and rice bran to commercial feed which gives the best results on chicken carcass and giblet weight. broilers. This research was conducted at the practice location of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Christian University of Palangka Raya, Jalan G.S Rubay Palangka Raya. This study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with a single treatment of various additions of fermented feed and rice bran to commercial feed with 5 repetitions, namely Treatment A = Fermentation Kelakai 0% + BR 100%, Treatment B = Fermentation 2,5% + 100% BR, Treatment C = Fermentation Kelakai 5% + 100% BR, Treatment D = Fermentation Kelakai 7,5% + 100% BR. The results of this study were the addition of fermented kelakai and rice bran had no effect on carcass and giblet weight of broiler chickens. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan jagung kuning pada pakan komersial terhadap penampilan ayam broiler fase finisher dan untuk mendapatkan salah satu tingkat penambahan jagung kuning pada pakan komersial yang dapat memberikan penampilan terbaik ayam broiler fase finisher. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan tunggal berbagai penambahan jagung kuning pada pakan komersial dengan 5 ulangan yaitu perlakuan A = Jagung Kuning 0% + 100% Pakan Komersial, Perlakuan B = Jagung Kuning 5% + 100 % Pakan Komersial Perlakuan C = Jagung Kuning 10% + 100% Pakan Komersial dan Perlakuan D = Jagung Kuning 15% + 100% Pakan Komersial. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penambahan jagung kuning pada pakan komersial berpengaruh terhadap penampilan ayam broiler fase finisher yang meliputi konsumsi ransum, konversi ransum dan pertambahan bobot badan, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap bobot badan akhir dan pemberian jagung kuning 15 % + 100 % pakan komersial memberikan hasil yang terbaik terhadap konsumsi ransum serta pertambahan bobot badan.
