Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compost on land mined gold and knowing which one is the best type of compost to the early growth of the plant jackfruit. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial with 2 faktoral namely Factor A: types of compost with three levels while the B factors and three levels of fertilization and repeated 3 times so have 27 pot experiment. The results composting on mined land can improve soil chemical properties in this case the addition of the nutrients N, P, K and C-organic. Nutrient content of compost can be seen that the highest N content contained in compostable materials made of peanuts is 0.8%. While the highest available P in compost bins gamal is 16.79 ppm, the highest available K in compost market is 55.3 ppm and C-gamal organic compost is the highest at 9.11%. Jackfruit plant growth height and number of leaves both the best in the mined soil compost bins given market.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAt Rurukan sub-district dry farming agricultural a large part contrived on region gets to bevel. On runoff scarp will happen faster, it because rainwater which falls will be adrift at presto surface soil, so water chance for turns in at earth as laconic and make infiltration capacity become little. Therefore needs to be done by soil conservation action as makings of terrace for earth preservation. There is aim even of this research which is to know big runoff on barrackterrace and traditional barrackon about carrot plant at Rurukan sub-district. This research doing to utilize fairish little slot method 11x4 meter. Downloading is done begin over carrot until crop instilling, data then described by descriptive point out observational result that runoff on barrackterrace slot which is 0,14 m 3 / barrackslot and slot traditional as big as 0,00 m 3 /slot.Key word: Runoff, Terrace, Compost, Rurukan

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to acknowledge soil fertility of land for the development of Hebras (Gerbera jamensonii) decorative plant in Lansot district, of South Tomohon also to support Tomohon government programs for City of tourism and City of flowers. Soil fertility observed to soil physics to wit texture and soil permeabilities and soil chemical properties is pH, Organic Materials, nitrogen, phosphor, and potassium (K). The study was carried out during September to November 2019 in two places that are Lansot District, of South Tomohon to take the samples and Soil Science Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, Sam Ratulangi University Manado to analysis the samples. The method used in this study is survey method by took the samples using Land use maps and the data are discussed descriptive. The final result by this research are showing that the soil in Lansot District of South Tomohon has silt loam texture and it has moderate permeability. Soil pH has a slightly sour criteria for range 6,19 – 6,35. Low and high levels of organic materials, N content is available medium, medium P and K is available in sufficient soil. The conclusion of this research it is known that soil fertility of the land for the development of Hebras (Gerbera jamensonii) houseplant in Lansot District of South Tomohon are suitable because the nutrients are readily available in soil. The development of the decorative plant will also support the City’s Government program of Tomohon as the City of tourism and the City of flowers.
