Abstract

PT Damai Sejahtera Utama is a manufacturing company engaged in timber production. The company is processing wood sticks (logs) into plywood. The purpose of this research is to find the most efficient production patterns with the pattern approach 3 (three) of production, namely: Wavy production patterns, production patterns Constant, and Moderate production patterns. With this method is expected to determine the most appropriate production pattern with the condition of the company, so as to minimize Incremental costs that will occur. The results of this study indicate that by using corrugated production patterns can cause incremental cost of 3,330,267,500 IDR. For Constant production patterns can lead to costs amounting to 3,696,317,500 IDR whereas if the company uses pattern Moderate production costs to be incurred amounted to 3,289,417,500 IDR. From the results of this study showed that moderate production patterns have the smallest Incremental costs compared to the wavy or constant patterns of production.

Abstract

Knowledge management is an emerging discipline and professionalism, creativity, innovation, organization and teams need to be thought about in this new context. This paper creates a framework in which to discuss these concepts with literature research. It goes on to explore how our professionalisms, creativity and innovations is blocked in variety ways, including deep-seated beliefs about the world. The need for professional skills today in workplace faces a number of challenges, especially in unfamiliar and unpredictable situations. Finally this paper takes a brief look at two tools to support knowledge management, professionalisms, creativity and innovations - one in the human domain and the other in the technology domain. We are also needs to boost its capacity for continuous professionalism, creativity and innovation for both technology, social, economic, and organization reasons.

Abstract

Research of the National Family Planning Program Management in Jakarta is the follow-up study that analyzes the role of the relationship manager / executive of Family Planning, the availability of caunsellor and cadres as well as the readiness of Family Planning services to the dependent variable. Dependet variable is the interaction of the managers/implementers Family Planning to the achievement of family planning program in Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to obtain analytical results in the relationship of important variables in the management of family planning programs in Jakarta as a basis for priority activities proposed in the action plan of the family planning program in Jakarta. This study uses quantitative analysis with the technic of achieving sample by stratified random sampling, with a total sample of 198 respondents from the Provincial, Municipal and District Level. After the research team analyzes the results of the regression relationships of variables to provide conclusions and recommendations as an attempt to formulate strategic activities in the implementation of the National Family Planning Program in Jakarta. It can be concluded that there is influence and significant simultaneous relationship between the role of managing/implementing family planning programs and the readiness of Family Planning services in their effort to the success of family planning programs in Jakarta. Based on the results of quantitative data processing of the regression equation with the interpretation output LISREL with the value of R square of 0.493 or 49.3 percent.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the Re-Order point (ROP) between the ongoing policy of the company to the theoretical calculation according to the method of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) in manufacturing company. The research methodology that is used in this research is the method of quantitative analysis. It is a scientific approach to managerial decision making in which the source data is the primary data obtained directly from resource persons to provide the necessary data. The data is taken from the data the raw materials the company from 2007 to 2012. The results of this study state that the re-order point calculations specific to the year 2012 only, according to the company policy is 34,508 Kg, while according to the calculation method of EOQ is 91 925 Kg. This difference is due to the calculation of safety stock and the use of time while waiting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the quality service class of Laboratory School of Business Management (SoBM), Bina Nusantara University to students majoring in management science to management courses (Quantitative Business Analysis). SoBM has 3 campuses spreading across West Jakarta and Tangerang, which are as much as 2 campuses in West Jakarta and 1 campus in Alam Sutra area (Tangerang). The research was only conducted on campus Alam Sutra (Tangerang) which is relatively new, consisted only 1 class (42 students) that the specialization is entrepreneurship management science courses. This study applied Servqual method which is a measure of customer satisfaction through gap analysis, developed by Parasuraman, Zeithaml, and Berry. Respondents in this study consisted of 42 students who all as population. The results showed that all Servqual dimensions have an unsatisfactory quality. This can be seen from all the negative gaps in dimension tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. From all the negative values, reliability dimension(-6.58) has a gap with the highest negative value or the least satisfactory quality.

Abstract

PT Indo Nuansa Jaya is a chemical materials manufacturing company for oil drilling and drilling tools in Indonesia. The selling level of chemical materials for drilling in 2008 has reached to 348 units, in 2009 to 549 units, and in 2010 decreased to 447 units. The research method used is survey method; meanwhile the research type is associative. Data is gathered from questionnaire to employees. Data processing is using SPSS 16.0 and then compared to the result from data processing using LISREL 8.80. The research resulted that the analysis of duties has relation in 0,628 and has significant influence in (0.516)2 = 26.63% towards motivation. From the result, it could be founded that motivation could influence employees performance in (0.412)2 or 16,97%.

Abstract

Article is forecasting comparative analysis of number of guess room occupancy at Karlita International Hotel, Tegal, Central Java using 11 forecasting methods: linear regression, moving average, weighted moving average, exponential smoothing, exponential smoothing with trend, naïve method, trend analysis, additive decomposition – CMA, additive decomposition – average all, multiplicative decomposition – CMA, multiplicative decomposition – average All. Article used 17 data from January 2012 to Mei 2013, and results after using those 11 methods were the smallest MAD is 101.69 and the smallest MSE is 15,163.95. From additive decomposition – average all method, data showed guess room occupancy forecast at Karlita International Hotel for June 2013 is 960 guess.

Abstract

The study aims to find the total of minimum day that must be spent by CV Buah Segar*) in Purwokerto. CV Buah Segar is a company engaged in the field of fresh fruit agribusiness. In solving marketing problems, the company has seven persons who are the most reliable of the 28 employees to be sent to the seven cities of marketing. The company calculates the total of minimum day they could solve the marketing problems in seven cities which have decreased dramatically in total sales. This decrease will affect the expenditure of the company to incur. The results of the seven employees, whom were Joni, Dodi, Tomi, Andi, Iwan, Wibowo, Kuncoro, and Wahyu after assignment minimization method, required 119 days to 7 employees. So that, the average was 17 days for one employee.

Abstract

This research intends to know position of market growth in higher education, especially Sekolah Tinggi, based on market share, using BCG metrics. Unit analysis is all private higher educations in Kopertis III – DKI Jakarta, consisting of University, Sekolah Tinggi, Institute, and Academics. The object of analysis is the numberof new student admission. Method of data collection in this paper is field research including observation and literature research method. The secondary data used in this study is data from Kopertis region III. Based on the results of the study, it is obtained Sekolah Tinggi for the academic year 2008 and 2009 is in quadrant III (Cash Cow).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the student response in comparison between Management Department and Accounting Department at the Faculty of Economics, University of Bunda Mulia, against a system of learning in the e-learning system based. The samples are taken by using non-probability sampling method that is very much purposive. The amount of data to be collected as many as 300 students (respondents) conducted in a proportion as of for the Accounting Department samples of 150 respondents were taken and from the Department of Management also 150 respondents were taken, with a standard error in around 1%. The amount of data is adjusted to the time of data collection conducted during the months of March to May 2008, this was also during the lectures take place in the second semester of 2007/2008. For the idea of applying the e-learning system based, the result in the major of accounting, which are 76%, said that the idea seems to be right if e-Learning is applied but for the Department of Management students, only 32% of students who was responded quite well.
