Abstract

Articleaimed to assess and analyze the effect of money supply and the interest rate on Inflation in Indonesia. This research applied descriptive quantitative approach with the nature of the explanatory method verification. The data used was secondary data in the money supply, interest rate and Inflation in Indonesia in 2000-2014. The results of this article are the partial test (t-test) indicates the money supply (X1), the rate of interest (X2) and there is no effect on Inflation (Y). While the results of the simultaneous test (F test) shows a strong and direct relationship between money supply and the interest rate on inflation. This means that the money supply and interest rates affect the rise and fall of inflation in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of C2C e-commerce business in Indonesia has grown quite rapidly. This phenomenon is motivated by such a rapid development of the Internet. In the Internet-based commerce transaction, the trust factor (trust) becomes so important because consumers tend to be more concerned if e-commerce merchants do not comply with the obligations of business transactions compared to conventional transaction. This study aims to determine the effect of trust on purchasing decisions and their impact on repeat purchases by customers in the buying and selling forum Kaskus site. The number of respondents are 200 people who have experienced in buying and selling on Kaskus site and this research model is tested using path analysis.The study states that the customers’ trust variable has positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, the variable purchase decisions has positive and significant effect on repeat purchase and customer trust has positive and significant impact on repeat purchase, but the magnitude of the effect becomes larger after the purchase decision (indirect effect ).

Abstract

There are two main objectives to be achieved by this study:to determine the accuracy level of prediction models of health national private banks using CAMEL ratios, and model the value of Z for the national private commercial banks by using multiple discriminant analysis (MDA) as well as Altman Z values on the model. Determination of the model using the Z value ratios banking health of Capital, Assets, Earnings and Liability (CAEL), then create a new Z value model specifically for national private commercial bank in Indonesia by using statistical analysis of MDA, with SPSS. The samples used were 30 banks, consisting of 19 survived banks in 2002 and 11 bankrupt banks in the same year. The results showed that the model value of Z in the year 2003-2006 cannot reach good accuracy when measured on a per year. Instead, the new Z value model generated by this study has better accuracy in predicting the rate of bankruptcy cases nationwide private commercial bank in Indonesia (86.7%) in 2002 and an average accuracy of 71.67% for the 4-year period of the review.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze: how international trade relations are between Indonesia and the United States, especially in the export-import of goods, particularly non-oil exports; how the value is obtained from the export-import of goods between Indonesia-United States, whether Indonesian exports to the United States greater than Indonesian import from the United States; who gets the surplus of trade between the two countries; and how big the export-import growth rate is, whether Indonesia tends to become exporter or importer. Data used in this study were a time series of the year 2008-2012. The analytical method used was the growth formula and Trade Specialization Index. Based on the trade balance, the value of Indonesian exports, both oil and non-oil, the United States has a surplus and vice versa. In other words, the United States includes a country of Indonesia's main export, in addition to Japan and China. Value of Trade Specialization Index for both oil and non-oil exports is positive above 0 to 1, then the oil and non-oil commodities have strong competitiveness. Indonesia is likely as a means exporter of the commodity. However, based on 10 major Indonesian export commodities to the United States, as the largest foreign exchange earner for textile examples and textile products, footwear industries, electronic products, furniture, as well as horticultural commodities, is threatened lethargic, because shutdown policy decisions on the government services were feared to reduce consumption of the American people’s imported products.
