Abstract

This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Technology ofProcessing and Chemical Fisheries, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine SciencesUniversity of Riau, May 2013. The purpose of the research was to study the typeof packed that can protect the quality of the selais catfish savory chips packed inHDPE and LDPE plastic bags during storage. Selais catfish savory chips weremade by mixture of 2 kg of selais catfish meat (67.8 %), rice flour (25 %), garlic(2 %), pepper (1.5 %), coriander (1 %) , salt (2 %), baking soda (0.3 %) and eggs(0.35 %). The savory chips were packed in HDPE and LDPE plastic bags.Changes in quality of selais catfish savory chips were evaluated for sensory andchemical value every 0 , 5 , 10 and 15 days of storage. The results showed that thesensory values (appearance, aroma, texture and taste) of the selais catfish savorychips packed in LDPE plastic bags decreased faster than that packed in HDPEplastic bag, however both of fish chips were still acceptable up to the end of 15days storage. Moisture content and peroxide value of selais catfish savory chipspacked in HDPE and LDPE plastic bags increased during storage but the valueswas lower for the savory chips packed in HDPE than that of LDPE. Fat content ofthe selais catfish savory chips decreased and peroxide value increased duringstorage. The fat composition of the savory chips packed in HDPE decreased fasterthan that of LDPE. More over, peroxide value increased faster for the savory chipspacked in LDPE than that of HDPE. Peroxide values at the end of storage were9.42 and 7.37 for the savory chips packed in LDPE and HDPE respectively.Keywords: Selais catfish, Fish chips, HDPE, LDPE

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control have on the investment interest of students of Business Administration Study Program, University of Lampung. The independent variables used in this study are Attitudes (X1), Subjective Norms (X2), Behavioral Control (X3), and Investment Interest as the dependent variable. This type of research is associative with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were active students of the UNILA Business Administration Study Program starting from the 2018-2022 class. The data was obtained from a questionnaire using a Likert scale which was distributed via Google from social media, namely WhatsApp. The sample in this study amounted to 122 respondents who were taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data in this study were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 29.0 tools. The results of this study indicate that the attitude variable partially has no significant effect on the investment interest variable, the subjective norm variable partially has no significant effect on the investment interest variable, the perceived behavior control variable partially has a significant effect on the investment interest variable. However, the three independent variables in this study were tested simultaneously without having a significant effect simultaneously between attitude variables, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control with interest variables.Keywords : Theory Planned Behavior, Attitude, Subjective Norm, Behavior control, Investment Interest

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze compensation and motivation on the performance of Bukit Duabelas National Park employees with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The results showed that the description of compensation, motivation, organizational commitment and employee performance was running as it should. Compensation has no effect on organizational commitment and compensation has no effect on employee performance. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, but motivation has no effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, but organizational commitment is not proven to mediate compensation on performance employees with the nature of the competitive-mediating relationship and subsequently organizational commitment has been proven to mediate motivation on employee performance with the nature of the full-mediating relationship. The empirical findings above provide an illustration that the organizational commitment variable is able to mediate the motivational variable on employees performance, meaning that to improve the performance of the TNBD Hall employees, it is necessary to go through the organizational commitment variable.

Abstract

The community service activity conducted in Toapaya Selatan aimed to introduce an innovative planting and fertilizer applicator tool based on PVC pipes as an appropriate technology. This program was motivated by the persistence of manual farming practices that require excessive labor, time, and costs, while often resulting in uneven fertilizer distribution that reduces crop productivity. The implementation method adopted a participatory approach, consisting of preparation, counseling, demonstrations, field practice, and evaluation involving local farmers. Training sessions included hands-on practice to ensure that participants not only understood the theoretical aspects but also acquired practical skills in using and assembling the tool. The results indicate that the application of the pipe-based tool improved labor efficiency, reduced fertilization time, and enhanced the uniformity of fertilizer distribution on plantation land. These improvements were directly reflected in better crop maintenance and more sustainable use of resources. Farmers’ high enthusiasm and active participation demonstrated the success of this simple yet impactful technology transfer. Nevertheless, several challenges were encountered, including limited technical understanding among some participants, difficulties in replicating the tool independently, and restricted availability of tool-making materials in the local market. Overall, this innovation has the potential to contribute significantly to increasing local agricultural productivity. Further training, continuous mentoring, and institutional as well as financial support from the village government are strongly recommended to ensure the sustainability, scalability, and long-term adoption of this appropriate technology.

Abstract

Setiap organisasi akan selalu berusaha untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dengan harapan apa yang menjadi tujuan organisasi akan tercapai. Berbagai cara dilakukan dan ditempuh oleh organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Dalam konteks organisasi publik, kinerja adalah suatu ukuran prestasi/ hasil dalam mengelola dan menjalankan suatu organisasi dimana berhubungan dengan segala hal yang akan, sedang dan telah dilakukan organisasi tersebut dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Riset terdahulu atau riset yang relevan sangat penting dalam suatu riset atau artikel ilmiah. Riset terdahulu atau riset yang relevan berfungsi untuk memperkuat teori dan penomena hubungan atau pengaruh antar variable. Artikel ini mereview faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, yaitu: kompensasi, motivasi, dan kepuasan kerja pada Balai Taman Nasional Bukit Duabelas. Hasil artikel literature review ini adalah: 1) Terdapat pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai; 2) Terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai; 3) Terdapat pengaruh antara kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Setiap organisasi selalu berusaha untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dengan harapan tujuan organisasi akan tercapai. Berbagai cara dilakukan dan ditempuh oleh organisasi dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, misalnya dengan memperhatikan kompensasi, motivasi dan komitmen organisasi kepada pegawai agar kinerja pegawai selalu konsisten dan berharap selalu meningkat dari waktu ke waktu. Oleh karena itu, kinerja Balai Taman Nasional Bukit Duabelas erat kaitannya dengan variabel-variabel tersebut. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh dari masing-masing variabel yang diteliti terhadap kinerja pegawai Balai Taman Nasional Bukit Duabelas. Hasil dari library risearch ini adalah bahwa: 1) Kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi; 2) Kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai; 3) Motivasi berpengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi; 4) Motivasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai; 5) Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai.
