Abstract

ABSTRACKThis research aims to improve grade IV student’s social science learning achievement at MI Al-Ikhlas Tanjung Medan Kecamatan Tambusai Utara academic year 2013/2014 through “Application of the method of giving a task”. Setting of the problem is “is the application of the method of giving a task can improve grade IV student’s social science learning achievement at MI Al-Ikhlas Tanjung Medan”. This research was conducted in February. The numbers of students are 25 students which contains of 13 boys and 12 girls. This research is classroom action research which contains of three cycles. Each cycle consist of 2 meeting. Parameter of the research is involved students learning achievement after the action in each cycle (daily test I, II, III). Instrument of the research contains of learning tools (syllabus, RPP, LKS, learning result paper sheet), observation of student and teacher activity sheet. Data of the research will analyze descriptively. Research data show that learning achievement has increased. Where prior to the application of the methods of giving a task as much as any 12 students (48%) scored daily test is above or equal to the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). It was improved to 60% after using the application of the method of giving a task in first cycle. In the second cycle increased to 80% and in the third cycle increased to 96%. Activities of the students during the learning process (I, II, III cycles) is can be categorized very well by an average 96.87%. From the explanation above shows that application of the method of giving a task can be improving grade IV student’s social science learning achievement at MI Al-Ikhlas Tanjung Medan.Keyword: the method of giving a task, learning achievement

Abstract

This research was aimed at identifying the influence of the stability of dinar gold and fiat money and inflation in Indonesia. It used the secondary data published in reports of Central Statistics Bureau, Bank Indonesia and London Stock Exchange in the period of 1970-2010. It consisted of data on Currency, Gross Domestic Products, Exchange Rates, Dinar gold and Inflation. It was analyzed by the application of Error Correction Model (ECM) method. The regression analysis shows three important points : (1) in the short term range, the total currencies, fiat money and dinar gold significantly influenced on the inflation; (2) growth of currencies and Gross Domestic Products were high in the fiat money model than that in the dinar gold model and (3) the degree of dinar gold stability on fi the inflation was better than that of the fiat money. Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the author's ability in planning, implementing, and disseminating learning of negotiation text analysis using digital comics in Class X of SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung; (2) the condition of learning analysis of negotiation text in Class X of SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung before using digital comics; (3) the condition of learning after using digital comics as a learning medium; (4) the difference in the ability to write explanatory text between the experimental and control classes after using digital comics. The approach used was quantitative with a pure experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. The results of the study showed: (1) the author succeeded in planning, implementing, and starting learning with a score of 3.9 in planning and implementation, both in the very good category; (2) the pretest score of students in the experimental class before using digital comics was still below the minimum completion criteria, with an average of 20; (3) after using digital comics, the posttest score of the experimental class reached an average of 77 and met the minimum completion criteria; (4) The experimental class showed higher scores than the control class, as proven by the results of the pretest-posttest and independent sample t-test (Sig. value = 0.001 < 0.05).
