Abstract

The background of this study is the low student learning outcomes SDN PAI 002 Kiyap Jaya.It dibuktika with the acquisition value of the average student in the amount of 65 to 50% ofstudents completeness. This research is a class act. This study was conducted in two cycles.The data used in this study is the activity data and the teacher and student learning outcomesPAI. Based on the research results, direct learners models to improve learning outcomes.This result is evidenced by: (a) the activities of teachers has increased in each cycle, the firstcycle of the first meeting activity for teachers to get a score of 12 (48.00%) with less category,the first cycle II meeting obtain 17 (68.00%) with category enough, the second cycle ofmeetings I obtain a score of 20 (80.00%) in both categories. In the second cycle II meetingobtain a score of 23 (92.00%) with a very good category. And activities of students hasincreased at a meeting I cycle I obtained a score of 11 (44.00%) with less category, thesecond meeting of the second cycle obtain a score of 16 (64.00%) with enough categories, thefirst meeting of the second cycle obtain a score of 19 ( 76.005%) with both categories. And atthe second meeting of the second cycle obtain a score of 22 (88.00%) with a frightening goodcategory; and (b) learning outcomes PAI increased. In preliminary data the average value ofstudents is 65 to 50% the percentage of completeness, in the first cycle to obtain an averagevalue of 69.25 with the percentage of completeness 70% and the second cycle obtain anaverage value of 74.5 with the percentage of completeness of 85%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SDN Pagadungan 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara guru, dan dokumentasi hasil tulisan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode PBL membantu siswa memahami proses menulis cerpen secara sistematis, meningkatkan kreativitas, serta keterampilan berpikir kritis. Guru memainkan peran penting sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran PBL, menciptakan suasana interaktif dan kolaboratif di kelas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran menulis cerpen dan memberikan dampak positif pada keterampilan menulis siswa. Disarankan agar guru terus mengembangkan strategi PBL sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Temuan ini relevan untuk pengembangan metode pembelajaran serupa di mata pelajaran lain.

Abstract

The background of this study was the low learning outcomes in Islamic Education (PAI) at SD Negeri 002 Kiyap Jaya. This condition was evidenced by the average student score of 65, with only 50% of students achieving learning mastery. This research employed classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The data used in this study included observations of teacher and student activities as well as students’ PAI learning outcomes. Based on the research results, the application of the Direct Instruction learning model was able to improve learning outcomes. This improvement was evidenced by: (a) increased teacher activity in each cycle. In the first cycle, the first meeting showed a teacher activity score of 12 (48.00%) in the “low” category, which increased to 17 (68.00%) in the second meeting with a “fair” category. In the second cycle, teacher activity further improved to 20 (80.00%) in the first meeting with a “good” category and reached 23 (92.00%) in the second meeting with a “very good” category. Student activity also increased across cycles. In the first cycle, the first meeting showed a student activity score of 11 (44.00%) in the “low” category, which increased to 16 (64.00%) in the second meeting with a “fair” category. In the second cycle, student activity increased to 19 (76.00%) in the first meeting with a “good” category and reached 22 (88.00%) in the second meeting with a “very good” category; and (b) improved PAI learning outcomes. Based on preliminary data, the average student score was 65 with a mastery percentage of 50%. In the first cycle, the average score increased to 69.25 with a mastery percentage of 70%, and in the second cycle, it further increased to 74.5 with a mastery percentage of 85%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Direct Instruction learning model effectively improves PAI learning outcomes of students at SD Negeri 002 Kiyap Jaya.
