Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam menyelasaikan soal-soal penerapan sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Islam Jailolo yang berjumlah 57 siswa yang tersebar dalam dua kelas dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari satu kelas, yaitu kelas VIII-a yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian pada siswa kelas VIII-a SMP Islam Jailolo menujukkan bahwa kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal penerapan sistem persamaan linear dua variabel adalah a). kesulitan fakta, yaitu kesulitan dalam menempatkan lambang-lambang yang membentuk persamaan linear dua variabel, b). kesulitan konsep, yaitu kesulitan dalam merumuskan model matematika yang berkaitan dengan sitem persamaan linear dua variabel, c). kesulitan prinsip, yaitu dalam menggunakan sifat penambahan dan perkalian pada persamaan serta kesulitan dalam menggunakan metode dalam menentukan solusi dari sistem persamaan linear dua variabel, d). Kesulitan skill, yaitu dalam melakukan operasi pada bilangan.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang analisis kestabilan titik keseimbangan pada model interaksi patogen-imun. Kestabilan model ini juga bergantung pada parameter-parameter khususnya. Untuk menyelesaikan perhitungan model ini digunakan aplikasi aljabar sederhana, sifat-sifat determinan, dan derivatifnya. Model yang pertama kali dikenalkan oleh Murase dan Kajiwara serta Liu ini akan dibuktikan mempunyai titik keseimbangan yang stabil. Untuk menentukan kestabilan pada model ini, dapat menggunakan metode Routh-Hurwitz dengan menentukan nilai-nilai eigen melalui determinannya.

Abstract

Abstrack:the research aimed to discover financial development of KPRI Teachers “Ikhlas”Kuok for the years2012-2016 using analiysis of liquidity, solvency and rentability. Where the research was conducted in the environment KPRI Teachers “Ikhlas” Kuok. The data collection techniques that used were documentatio and interview techniques. The data analysis techniques that used were liquidity, solvency and rentability calculation ratio and trend analysis.The results showed that: the liquidity rate as indicated by the current ratio is ina bad category. The solvency rate as indicated by the total debt to aset and total debt to equity ratio is in a good category. The protability rateas indicated by the retur on aset and retur on equity is in bad category whereas net profit margin is in less than good category. Trend analysis is good.Key Words: Analysis, Ratio, Trend

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the teaching methods used by the English teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Sengkang and how the students perceived those methods. Sengkang served as the location, and a qualitative research design was applied. Three instruments were used in this research, which was a total purposive sampling. The first was an observation checklist for teachers who are instructing online learning. (2) interviewing teachers to learn about their tactics, and (3) interviewing students to see how they view teachers' strategies The study's findings showed that: 1) Three different teaching methods were used by the teachers in online instruction. There were discussions, stories, and dialogues. Because it is based on a manual and is simple to practice online, teachers adopt this technique. Other tactics are occasionally employed by teachers, but they are uncommon because they are ineffective while teaching online. 2) The study's findings demonstrate that all of the teachers' online learning tactics were supported by students' perceptions of those strategies. Students believed that using the tactics in online learning was successful in assisting them in understanding the subject matter. Additionally, pupils are engaged and readily understand the subject when it is presented through the teacher's chosen media.

Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan terutama sampah menjadi masalah utama yang sulit untuk dikendalikan teritama didaerah pariwisata. Produksi sampah terus meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk, wisatawan dan perubahan pola konsumsi serta gaya hidup masyarakat. Permasalahan yang teridentifikasi antara lain peningkatan jumlah sampah yang dihasilkan serta jenis dan keragaman karakteristik sampah. Tujuan: Untuk mewujudkan D’Sisri (Dieng Bersih dan Asri). Metode: pendekatan masyarakat berbentuk motivasi, edukasi, diskusi, konsultasi, demonstrasi serta advokasi. Hasil: terbentuknya organisasi masyarakat peduli lingkungan ‘’Dieng Bersih”. Simpulan: pembentukan organisasi peduli lingkungan (Dieng Bersih) mampu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan terutama mengenai pengelolaan dan pemilahan sampah sehingga tercipta Dieng Bersih dan Asri (D’Sisri)

Abstract

In high school, EFL learners are supposed to have the capability of writing a good descriptive text as one of the demand of the curriculum. However, many students still experience problems in producing a successful writing. This study aims at promoting high school students’ writing skills, particularly in writing descriptive text, by utilizing project-based learning. This study employed a Classroom Action Research through two cycles which include planning, acting, observing, and evaluating stages. The data were collected from 23 students of X IIS 4 class of SMA Negeri 4 Takalar as the study subjects by using writing tests and observation. The results of the study show that there was an improvement in students’ scores and behaviour when learning with project-based approach. In the diagnostic test, the students mean score was 65.57. The score improved by 9.9% in cycle I and 13.81% in cycle II to 72.09 and 82.04, respectively. Besides, in the pretest, only five students who can achieve the minimum completeness criteria, but in the end of cycle 2, twenty students can pass the minimum score. In addition, students become more actively engaged in the learning process as they are enthusiastic with the projects given by the teacher. This means that the use of project-based learning gave positive impact to students’ learning to write descriptive paragraphs and teachers are suggested to use it in teaching in EFL writing classrooms.
