Abstract

Durian seed flour content high protein, therefore it is potential to become food supplement (such as biscuits) for under five children. The purpose of this research was to formulate biscuit with durian seed flour as food supplement for underweight children under five in Kampar District, Riau. This was experimental research with Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The substitution of durian seed flour treatment was F1=15%, F2=20% dan F3=25%. ANOVA was used to analyzed the difference between groups and Duncan test for within groups. Semi-trained panelists consist of 25 undergraduate nutrition student of Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. There was no difference in flavor, color, and aroma of biscuit subsitute with durian seed flour. However, there was a difference in texture (p=0.000). Duncan test showed that F2 have a better acceptance level compared to F1 dan F3. Proksimat analysis for selected formula revealed that biscuit F2 contain 6.72% water, 1.36% ash, 5.57% protein, 13.75% fat, and 72.60% carbohydrate. Energy and protein content of F2 were 218 kcal and 2.7 grams per serving size (4 biscuits= 50 gram) and have met the 20% requirement of underweight children. Substitution of wheat flour with 25% durian seed flour has a similar organoleptic characteristics (flavor, color, and aroma) with wheat flour biscuits. Therefore, it can be a supplemetary food for underweight children. It is necessary to add other food ingredients to improve the texture and increasing the protein content in accordance with SNI.

Abstract

Posyandu dibentuk oleh dan untuk masyarakat itu sendiri dalam penyelenggaraan pembangunan kesehatan, guna memberdayakan masyarakat dan memberikan kemudahan kepada masyarakat dalam memperoleh pelayanan kesehatan dasar, utamanya untuk mempercepat penurunan angka kematian ibu dan bayi. Dari hasil Riskesdas 2018, di dapati untuk provinsi Riau Kabupaten Kampar, pemanfaatan posyandu masih dibawah standart ketentuan yang berlaku. Didapati presentase balita yang tidak memiliki imunisasi lengkap sebesar 34,1%, dan balita yang tidak sama sekali mendapati imunisasi sekitar 3%. Berdasarkan data dari Dinkes Kabupaten Kampar pada tahun 2019, masih ada Posyandu yang belum dapat menjalankan semua kegiatan yang menjadi kegiatan utama. Salah satu terjadi di Desa Simpang kubu. Desa ini akan diprioritaskan menjadi desa binaan dalam revitilisasi posyandu dengan tujuan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan kader posyandu kasih ibu desa Simpang Kubu yang menjadi permaslahan yaitu rendahnya jumalah kader yang aktif, kader kurang memperoleh pelatihan atau pelatihan yang diperoleh selama ini kurang efektif, masih banyaknya anak balita yang tidak datang ke posyandu secara rutin (D/S) untuk menimbang berat badannya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu penyuluhan dan pelatihan untuk peningkatan pengetahuan dan kunjungan balita ke posyandu serta perbaikan pelayanan di posyandu. Di dapatkan hasil terjadinya peningkatan frekuensi kunjungan balita keposyandu, ternjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan kader. Pelayanan posyandu yang baik.

Abstract

Biscuits are one snack or snack that is consumed by people in Indonesia. Thepurpose of this research is the utilization of flour in making durian bij biscuits.This research is experimental design using Draft. This research is experimentaldesign using a complete Randomized Design (RAL) non factorial that iscomposed only of one factor, namely biscuit selected formulations with thesymbol BF all of which are repeated as many as 3 times (i = 1, 2, 3). Testanalysis of the difference of using test ANOVA and Duncan test information.Panelists are somewhat trained 25 people i.e. students Undergraduate Universitynutrition status of Hero Tuanku Tambusai. There is no difference in the additionof durian seed flour flavor, color, and aroma biscuits. There is a difference theaddition of durian seed flour against texture. Based on further testing of Duncan,the texture of the cookies is no different. Test results hedonik, formula biscuitsmost-favored by panelists is formula F2. durian seed flour addition seanyak 20%.

Abstract

Background: Gout arthritis is the disease because of purine abnormal metabolism marked by the increase of uric acid level in blood. Gout arthritis can also cause disorder in kidney. This research aims to analyze the correlation between protein consumption, nutrient status, and gout arthritis occurance on the visitors of Community Health Center Harapan Raya in 2019. Method: This research used cross sectional study design and was conducted on 11-29th of July 2019 with population all visitors at Community Health Center Harapan Raya Pekanbaru City and total samples were 87 people obtained by using Accidental Sampling. The techniques of data collection were by using questionnaire and food recall 2 x 24 hours method, body weight measurement and body height measurement and uric acid level check. Data analysis was by using univariate and bivariate with Chi Square test. The Result: Respondents’ protein consumption is categorized into low and their nutrient status is excessive. There is correlation between protein consumption (p=0.024) and nutrient status value (p=0.000). Conclusion: There is correlation between protein consumption, nutrient status and gout arthritis occurance on the visitors at Community Health Center Harapan Raya in 2019.

Abstract

Central obesity if the increase of body fat which its location is at abdominal area (stomach) and can cause various degenerative diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2, and cardiovascular disease. The purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation between nutrition knowlege and fat consumption with central obesity occurance on housewives at West Sidomulyo Village in 2019. The type of this research was quantitative research with Cross-Sectional Design. The population of this research were 856 housewives age ≥ 35 years old at West Sidomulyo Village with total samples 169 people selected by using Purposive Sampling. The technique of data collection was questionnaire on nutrition knowledge and Food Recall 2x24 hours, stomach circumference measurement (LP), body weight, and body height. Data analysis was by using Chi-Square test. The results of univariate analysis show that almost half of respondents have good knowledege on nutrition (46.2%), almost half of respondents consume more fat (40.8%), and most of respondents experience central obesity (68%). The results of bivariate analysis with Chi-Square Test show that there is no significant correlation between nutrition knowledge and central obesity occurance (p=0.074), and there is significant correlation between fat consumption and central obesity occurance (p=0.001). Therefore, it is expected that the society consumes fat in line with their needs and always control their body weight and stomach circumference to stay normal.

Abstract

Latar belakang: KEK pada ibu hamil adalah kondisi dimana ibu menderita kekurangan asupan energi ditandai dengan ukuran LiLA < 23.5cm. KEK pada ibu hamil merupakan salah satu masalah gizi yang dapat disebabkan oleh pengetahuan gizi ibu, ketersediaan pangan dan asupan makan ibu. Tujuan: penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan gizi, ketersediaan pangan dan asupan makan dengan kejadian KEK pada ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tapung II. Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Cross Sectional. Populasi yaitu 208 responden. Penelitian dilakukan tanggal 11-23 Juli 2019, jumlah sampel 44 responden menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, Food Recall 2x24 jam, pengukuran LiLA. Hasil: analisa uji Chi Square yaitu menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan (p=0.000) pengetahuan gizi dengan kejadian KEK, terdapat hubungan signifikan (p=0.002) antara ketersediaan pangan dengan kejadian KEK, terdapat hubungan signifikan (p=0.000) antara asupan energi dengan kejadian KEK, tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan (p=0.542) antara asupan protein dengan kejadian KEK, terdapat hubungan signifikan (p=0.000) antara asupan lemak dengan kejadian KEK, terdapat hubungan signifikan (p=0.027) antara asupan karbohidrat dengan kejadian KEK. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan pengetahuan gizi, ketersediaan pangan, asupan energi, asupan lemak, asupan KH dengan kejadian KEK pada ibu hamil, dan tidak ada hubungan asupan protein dengan kejadian KEK pada ibu hamil.

Abstract

Knowledge of nutrition and iron deficiency are factors that cause anemia in pregnant women. The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women is always increasing every year. Some efforts that can be made to increase hemoglobin levels are providing nutrition education. The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of nutrition education n the increase in hemoglobin levels of anemic pregnant women at Sidomulyo Public Health Center. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The study was conducted June 2020 with a total sample of 30 anemia pregnant women. The data collection techniques used to measure the knowledge of pregnant women were questionnaires, hemoglobin levels using the easytouch. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate with paired sample T-Test and Independent T-Test. The results showed that the average hemoglobin level in the control group before the intervention was 10.2 gr / dl, after the intervention was 10.6 g / dl and the treatment group before the intervention was 10.5 gr / dl and 11.4 gr / dl after the intervention. The results of the paired sample T-test in the control group and the treatment group (0.000), means that there is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels before and after the intervention. The results of the independent sample T-test between groups (0.000), means that there is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels between the control and treatment groups. The conclusion is that there is an effect of nutrition education on hemoglobin levels of anemic pregnant women.

Abstract

Kebiasaan mandi merupakan salah satu faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian dermatitis. Mandi merupakan bagian yang penting dalam menjaga kebersihan diri. Mandi dapat menghilangkan bau, menghilangkan kotoran, merangsang peredaran darah, memberikan kesegaran pada tubuh. Sebaiknya mandi dua kali sehari, alasan utama ialah agar tubuh sehat dan segar bugar. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan kejadian penyakit kulit salah satunya adalah kebiasaan mandi. Air merupakan kebutuhan utama bagi proses kehidupan di bumi, sehingga tidak ada kehidupan seandainya tidak ada air di bumi. Namun, air dapat menjadi malapetaka jika tersedia dalam kondisi yang tidak benar, baik kualitas maupun kuantitas airnya. Air yang bersih sangat dibutuhkan manusia, baik untuk keperluan sehari-hari seperti untuk minum, mandi, mencuuci dan lain sebagainya. Desa binaan dalam revitilasi dengan tujuan meningkatan pengetahuan masyarakt tentang penyebab penyakit dermatitis. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan masyarakat desa limau manis yang menjadi permasalahan adalah rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyebab penyakit dermatitis. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu penyuluhan untuk peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyebab penyakit Dermatis di Desa Limau manis
