Abstract

Hoax news in Indonesia causes various problems, therefore it is necessary to classify whether a news is in the hoax category or is valid. Naive Bayes is an algorithm that can perform classification but has a weakness, namely the selection of attributes that can affect accuracy so that it needs to be optimized by giving weights to attributes using the TF-IDF method. Classification using Naive Bayes and using TF-IDF as attribute weighting on a dataset of 600 data resulted in 82% accuracy, 84% precision, and 89% recall. The suggestion put forward is that it is better to use a larger number of datasets in order to produce higher accuracy.

Abstract

Tridiagonal matrix algorithm is known to be more efficient in the computational process than theGaussian elimination method in solving linear system problems involving tridiagonal matrices. Inthis paper, the tridiagonal matrix algorithm is applied to the cubic spline interpolation problem withnatural boundary conditions. In this case, the tridiagonal matrix algorithm plays a role in findingthe second derivative of each cubic spline sub-function so that it is more efficient in obtaining thecoefficients of the third order polynomials that form the cubic spline function

Abstract

Mathematics is a universal science and is very important in everyday life. In various educational institutions, mathematics is always studied from an early age. Existing mathematics learning generally only prioritizes theoretical understanding. In fact, for school-age children, it is very important to instill the value of faith from an early age. With the hope that a generation of intelligent, faithful and noble Muslims will be born. The purpose of this research, the wider community can get to know more about Sirah Muhammad SAW-based education, known as Kuttab and proven to have given birth to a brilliant generation including Muslim scientists Al Khwarizmi, Al Battani who are experts in the field of mathematics. In Indonesia, Kuttab has been present and spread in several regions. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research in which research procedures or problem solving are investigated with a description of the subject or object through observations of mathematics learning in class and documentation from the Counting Book used. The results showed that every material in numeracy that was studied was always inserted with Islamic teachings so that students not only understood theory but also embedded faith in their hearts from an early age.

Abstract

In the process of harvesting rice, farmers take rice grains or grain to dry. For small-scale farmers, grain drying is done manually with the help of solar heat. It is not effective because it depends on weather conditions. Rice grain drying machines on the market are generally for large capacities. This machine is not suitable for small scale farmers. Based on this background, a rice grain drying machine was designed for small production scale farmers. The limitations of this study only discuss the construction of the engine frame. The stages of the research carried out are; determine the initial specifications of the rice grain drying machine, make a design and test the design of the machine frame using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017, manufacture the frame of the rice grain drying machine.
