Abstract

The ease of access to social media makes the spread of news that cannot be accounted for easily spread nowadays. Likewise, the issue of Covid-19 and vaccination, there has been a lot of fake news circulating about this which is troubling the public. This paper aims to review information that is controversial on social media, especially fake news that is troubling people in cyberspace or often called hoax. The purpose of this paper is to explain the importance of filtering information on social media among the public as a solution to tackling the spread of hoaxes related to the issue of Covid-19 and vaccination. Partners in this activity are the people of Rantau Panjang Village, the implementation of the activity uses the lecture and discussion method. The results of this study indicate that studying and finding out the truth of information is important as an effort to overcome the spread of hoaxes.

Abstract

The novel by female authors often tell about the position of women who appear as symbols of subtlety, and place them in a lower position than men. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the form of linguistic gender ideology in literary novels by female authors and what context triggers gender ideology in novels by literary authors. In this study, researchers focused on this research on the Mills Kritsis Discourse Analysis. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data in this study is sentences that contain linguistic by female authors. Data collection techniques in this study use document recording techniques. Based on the results of data analysis it is known that the form of linguistic gender ideology in literary novels of female authors is dominated by the form of subordination that is 20 data or about (60.53%), while 18 (14.37%) other data leads to stereotypes for readers of literary novels, especially literary works of female authors, to foster interest in preserving literary novels, especially literary novels, especially authors

Abstract

Ideology in a novel is a central concept in Critical Discourse Analysis. One of the novel authors who has a view of the surrounding existence through an ideology is Habiburahman El Shirazy. This studied aimed to find out how the ideology that underlies Ayat-ayat cinta's novel 2 by Habiburahman El Shirazy and what context triggers the ideology. To answer the research question, this research used van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis theory. This type of research was included in the type of content analysis research. The data in this study was sentences and paragraphs. Based on the results of the study, it was known that the ideology underlying the novel Ayat-ayat cinta's novel 2 by Habiburahman El Shirazy was an Islamic ideology and the context that triggers the ideology was how Habiburrahman El Shirazy views the western perception of Islam, views on dating in Islam, and based on the biography of Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Overall the Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2’s novel was a novel that reminds the reader of being able to at least change the mindset by reading and understanding the Qur'an well.
