Abstract

This study aims to design a public reporting application for Traffic violations to assist the Samarinda City Transportation Department in improving the effectiveness of Traffic monitoring and law enforcement. The current problem lies in the reporting process, which is still conducted manually, resulting in delays in handling reports and limiting public participation in reporting Traffic violations. This study employed the Waterfall system development method, consisting of Requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. Research data were collected through observation, literature review, and field studies at the Samarinda City Transportation Department to comprehensively identify system Requirements. The results indicate that the implementation of the public reporting application for Traffic violations significantly increases the number of public reports, accelerates the response time for handling violations, and improves transparency and accountability in report management. The designed application also facilitates the public in submitting reports in real time through location data and violation documentation uploads. Furthermore, the application is expected to become an innovative solution in supporting Traffic law enforcement and improving the quality of public services in the transportation sector in Samarinda City. The system was developed using PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) as the programming language and MySQL (My Structured Query Language) as the database management system managed through PhpMyAdmin. The system is also designed to provide easier access, improve report management efficiency, and support more responsive and sustainable Traffic monitoring.

Abstract

Application of Prototype A tool for detecting noise based on NodeMCU is a prototype that can be used to detect sound noise and provide a warning if the sound exceeds the reasonable threshold that humans hear. The function of this system is to detect sound noise using the Analog Sound sensor V2. Then the data from the Analog Sound sensor V2 will be displayed in the form of a Led and if it has passed the threshold that humans hear, it will trigger turning on the buzzer as a warning and send automatically the decibel value, status and also if we want to check how much noise there is, we can type / telegram the sensor . Based on the data analysis carried out, Basically programming for building Prototype Tool for detecting noise based on NodeMCU using the C programming language with the help of Arduino IDE software and monitoring it using LED and Telegram. This research was made in order to facilitate controlling the noise in the environment.

Abstract

This study implemented a WhatsApp bot as a frontline information service at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma (WICIDA). The main problems were the high burden of repetitive questions, limited service hours, and inconsistent responses. WhatsApp was chosen because of its high adoption rate and support for real-time communication. The study included needs analysis, bot architecture design, Node.js-based development, knowledge base integration, and performance evaluation. The results showed that the bot was able to answer 87.4% of questions correctly, reduce staff workload by 56%, and speed up response time to <3 seconds. These findings demonstrate that the WhatsApp bot is effective as a scalable solution to improve the quality of educational information services.

Abstract

This study discusses customer sentiment analysis toward e-commerce products using the Naïve Bayes method combined with Word Embedding techniques to enhance the semantic understanding of Indonesian-language customer reviews. The research background is based on the rapid growth of e-commerce, which has created a strong need to understand consumer opinions through online reviews. The main challenge in sentiment analysis lies in the complexity of natural language, such as the use of informal words, abbreviations, and diverse emotional expressions. This study utilizes 40,607 Tokopedia customer reviews across five product categories with three sentiment labels (positive, neutral, and negative). The research stages include data collection, text preprocessing (case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and slang normalization), feature representation using Word2Vec and FastText, and classification using Multinomial Naïve Bayes. Experimental results show that the combination of Word2Vec and Naïve Bayes achieved an accuracy of 87.92%, while FastText and Naïve Bayes improved accuracy to 91.52%. The FastText-based model proved superior in handling morphological variations and non-standard spellings, making it more effective for Indonesian customer review texts. The WordCloud visualization reveals the dominance of positive words such as “sesuai” (appropriate), “barang” (item), and “cepat” (fast), indicating customer satisfaction regarding product conformity and service speed. The Confusion Matrix results indicate a bias toward the positive class due to data imbalance, where the model still struggles to recognize neutral and negative classes. Overall, this study demonstrates that integrating Word Embedding with Naïve Bayes enhances classification performance and provides richer semantic representations compared to traditional Bag of Words approaches. This approach has the potential to be applied in developing data-driven recommendation systems and marketing strategies within Indonesia’s e-commerce ecosystem.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya Augmented Reality (AR), memberikan peluang besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi AR sebagai media pembelajaran teknik dasar olahraga petanque bagi pemula. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Luther-Sutopo yang meliputi tahapan konsep, desain, pengumpulan materi, pembuatan, pengujian, dan distribusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi AR mampu menampilkan objek 3D teknik dasar petanque seperti pointing dan shooting secara interaktif. Berdasarkan pengujian, aplikasi berjalan dengan baik dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman pengguna terhadap materi. Hal ini sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa penggunaan AR dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, minat, dan keterlibatan peserta didik secara signifikan .Dengan demikian, aplikasi AR ini dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif, menarik, dan inovatif bagi pemula dalam memahami teknik dasar petanque.
