Abstract

Teachers should be able to respond to technological developments, especially about technologies that support the learning process, such as making learning media by utilizing technology. Microsoft Office PowerPoint, is one of the media that can be used in designing more interesting learning. Because, with the help of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, the teacher can design learning that combines several media, such as audio, images, text and so on or called multimedia. To overcome the inability of teachers to design multimedia-based learning, training needs to be held. This paper is an exploration of the training activities conducted by the author of teachers in MIN 11 Aceh Tenggara. The results of the activity showed that, every teacher in MIN 11 Aceh Tenggara already had a laptop as a medium for making PowerPoint, the obstacle faced was how to operate it that could not. Then, after doing the training the teacher felt that the use of PowerPoint was very helpful in making learning interesting and fun, and students were also more enthusiastic and motivated in participating in the learning, because students felt that they seemed to be directly in the events set forth in Power point.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the barriers of Islamic education teachers in using learning technology when implementing distance learning at Islamic Elementary School 11 Southeast Aceh. The method used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data were collected by means of survey and interviews, and the data analysis used was descriptive analysis. The sampling method in this study using the Krejcie and Morgan table (Krejcie Table) and random sampling. The Krejcie Table was used to draw samples to fill out a survey totaling 108 parents of students, and the random sample used to be interviewed directly consisted of 4 Islamic Education teachers and 6 students. This research found that there are several obstacles for Islamic education teachers in using technology that supports Islamic education learning. First, the obstacles that arise from students are the availability of facilities and awareness of students and parents in adapting to learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Second, from Islamic Education teachers, namely the ability of teachers to use PAI technology and materials which put more emphasis on practice. This research has implications for Islamic education teachers to immediately upgrade their abilities in the use of educational technology, to parents of students to participate in providing assistance to students, especially in this pandemic condition, and to the functionaries of education policyl the implication of this research is to review the application of distance learning especially in the green zone.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the supporting and inhibiting factors in the effort to integrate character education in akidah akhlak subjects at MIN 11 Aceh Tenggara. This study uses a qualitative method with a narrative approach and data collection techniques of interview, observation, and documentation; then, the data is analyzed using the methods developed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. This study shows that the supporting factor for integrating character education in aqidah moral learning at MIN 11 Aceh Tenggara is the availability of learning media in the form of focus and Madrasah residents who work together to supervise all students, both outside and inside the Madrasah environment. The inhibiting factors are the limitations of Madrasah infrastructure in the form of no mosque or prayer room, family support, and social media and games that have an influence on student character. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam upaya pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajaran akidah akhlak at MIN 11 Aceh Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan naratif dan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian data dianalisis dengan metode yang dikembangkan Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, faktor pendukung pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak MIN 11 Aceh Tenggara adalah kesedian media pembelajaran berupa infocus dan warga Madrasah yang bersinergi untuk mengawasi semua siswa, baik di luar maupun di dalam lingkungan Madrasah. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah keterbatasan prasarana Madrasah berupa tidak ada Masjid atau musala, dukungan keluarga, dan media sosial dan game memberikan pengaruh terhadap karakter siswa.
