Abstract

Feed production costs are the largest costs incurred by fish farmers. Carp (Cyprinus carpio) is quite popular among the public because of the delicious taste of its meat and its fairly affordable price. Caring for goldfish fry requires a lot of money if the feed used is 100% factory-made feed. It is necessary to look for additional feed whose protein content can reduce the use of commercial feed. The artificial feed needed is feed that has a high nutrient content, is easy to find in nature, and is widely available in nature. One of the feed raw materials derived from aquatic plants that can be used as additional feed is Lemna perpusilla. This type of aquatic plant can be used and has potential as an alternative source of protein for goldfish, namely the Lemna perpusilla aquatic plant. This research was carried out from June to July 2023 at UPR Amphibi Batang Toru. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method: 5 (five) treatments and 3 (three) replications with a dose of 0% Lemna perpusilla as a control, followed by administration of 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% Lemna perpusilla. The final results of the research can be concluded that the addition of Lemna perpusilla is the most optimal and efficient in feed at 40% showing a significant effect on the growth of goldfish.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran nagori dalam penegakan dan pelestarian hukum adat di Kabupaten Simalungun dari perspektif hukum ketatanegaraan. Nagori, sebagai unit pemerintahan tradisional, memiliki tanggung jawab penting dalam menjaga dan menerapkan hukum adat yang telah diwariskan secara turun-temurun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan yuridis-normatif sebagai landasan utama dalam menganalisis Nagori berperan penegakan serta pelestarian hukum adat dan kekuatan hukumnya di Kabupaten Simalungun.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nagori memiliki peran sentral dalam mengatur kehidupan masyarakat adat melalui penegakan hukum adat yang adil dan konsisten. Selain itu, nagori berfungsi sebagai penjaga nilai-nilai tradisional dan budaya lokal, yang merupakan bagian integral dari identitas masyarakat Simalungun. Dari perspektif hukum ketatanegaraan, peran nagori ini sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah dalam mengakui dan melindungi keberadaan hukum adat sebagai bagian dari sistem hukum nasional. menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan peran nagori dalam penegakan dan pelestarian hukum adat sangat penting untuk memastikan keberlanjutan budaya dan nilai-nilai lokal di tengah modernisasi dan globalisasi. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup perlunya kebijakan yang mendukung keberlangsungan hukum adat dan peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia di nagori untuk menjalankan fungsinya secara efektif. Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of using Word Wall as a learning medium to enhance student’s understanding in English language learning, particularly on the topic of parts of the body. A Word Wall is a visual medium consisting of a collection of specific words displayed on a large wall or board in the classroom, helping students recognize, memorize, and understand vocabulary interactively. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach, collecting and analyzing various relevant sources. The results indicate that Word Walls are effective in improving student’s vocabulary mastery, which is a crucial component of English language learning. Students using this medium showed increased activity, enthusiasm, and confidence in practicing speaking. Additionally, post-test scores were consistently higher than pre-test scores, indicating significant improvement in understanding. This medium also enhanced students' learning outcomes, with the percentage of learning completeness increasing from the first to the final cycle in several classroom action research studies. Thus, Word Walls prove to be an effective and engaging learning medium for improving students' understanding and learning outcomes in English language education.
